- Laboratory scientist Dean Radin describes an experiment testing the relationship between mind and matter. In this experiment, random number generators are used to test whether collective human attention corresponds to a change in the physical environment.

I swear the morning of 9/11/01 when I got on the school bus (I was in 8th grade at the time), I felt this eerie calmness in the air kinda like the calm before the storm. I just knew something would happen that day, maybe it was intuition, I don't know. But I didn't imagine it would be history in the making.

Wondering what random number generators are doing during Covid... I was captivated by "what the bleep" film this guy spoke in, with other scientists. Intriguing.
For maximum benefit, it is essential for those manipulating things (all of us), to be happy. Happiness is a crucial factor in determining whether those changes are beneficial or detrimental. For someone with a lot of "influence" torturing & tormenting them could mean disaster for everyone.

@Dewillough This raises the question: Does our thoughts matter or are we just matter....? Yes, our bodies are matter, but thoughts decides if we live in love or fear. This (and many other) experiences proves that our attitude/thoughts matter in a unified way. Witch means that we should care about what we do cause what we do to another we also do to ourself. Its about responsibility to create a more loving world.
Fair enough; I will agree with that. The larger effects for what we're talking about are often more difficult to demonstrate adequately though.
If even one of the many poltergeist cases, for example, is a genuine example of large scale psi at work, then it's been demonstrated; I tend to think that there are many genuine cases of notable phenomena occurring that we can't explain. Thanks for the response!

It is amazing how different "true" reality (though I suppose I must use the word "true" very loosely) is from what the majority of people think it to be. And from what you have said, regarding prerecorded data, how consciousness can effect past events and data possibly. Truly fascinating stuff - better than science fiction, because it is real!

Would be interesting so to see the same experiments done using quantum computers as "random" number generators. I wonder if the entanglement factor is changed...
I'm not speaking of the GCP specifically, but rather psi research in general, specifically the Ganzfeld. You can test numerous hypotheses at once and see which one works. If the same hypothesis is found to fit the data across the board, that hypothesis might be justified. If we claim that anomalous communication occurs (i.e. mind to mind communication), finding supporting data that fits the concept and not others (i.e. sensory leakage, etc), we can presume AC is a reasonable explanation.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening in on this discussion. On the part of the poster of this content there are far too many advertisements embedded. There were between 10 &15 planted into this presentation. It’s disruptive and impedes the absorption of the content.
@Dewillough - All great discoveries in science begin with people not being able to see the practical significance. When people begin to understand the implications of Dean Radin's research there will be significant changes in our society.
Has this experiment been tried at a music concert? I would be curious if the same behaviour occurs.

@MaBu888 Can we establish what you mean by the 5th dimension? The 4th dimension is time, of course (the other three being the spatial dimensions of the everyday world). This is standard physics. Are you postulating a 5th dimension which is a realm of possibilities?
I know what you mean. :p And I agree, wholeheartedly! Most people simply dismiss the study of the claimed phenomena, because of its nature and potential implications. The evidence shouldn't be ignored -rather we should seek to evaluate the quality of that evidence.

I used to do will power exercises from a book by professor Alexander Power of the Mind and you get yourself into a state of apperception (self awareness)and you focus on a small cloud and you can make the cloud disappear. I have done this a number of times. I think the global consciousness movement need to look at this. Clouds and vapour could be a good medium to work with.

Before 9 11, during and after... how could something that runs randomly change before anyone is even aware that the event is about to happen? This suggests that something or someone else was focusing in on the event before it actually began, not random human beings but something else had turned its energy toward that specific event and possibly others.
joseph wall while i do believe 9/11 was a definite inside job, i think this precognition could be achieved by something like the inertia of a cosmic event. This event changed everything in our realm. It had to have some _major_ things (shifts in consciousness) leading up to it... whether 19 hijackers with box cutters carried it out or not

@MaBu888 What do you mean 'if the tapes have 5d'? The tapes are just ordinary tapes, like any other except that the data on them is unobserved. It has recorded data generated by the RNG but in the absence of any observer. The data exists in a state of quantum indeterminacy until it is collapsed by an observer. What would be acceptable to you as determining that the tapes 'have 5d'?
But what does it mean for the number generators to have order?

@phookadude - You need to check out the earlier work that was done at Princeton Uni. They performed studies on individual volunteers who's attention was focussed on an REG (e.g. they were trying to consciously influence the outcome). This later research using EGGs is like a scaled up version of the earlier research.

Double slit experiment being affected by the problem of observation. Perhaps it's not so much the physical observation but the focus of attention on a set of wave functions that compose a real world event that cause the output of the waves functions to be manipulated.

Exactly why its a garbage study.
Randomness is a lack of pattern. So if you see more patterns, you can reasonably claim there is less randomness. But if you look for more patterns, you will see more patterns. (The #1 job of the human mind is to recognize the patterns it wants to see). This is all obviously confirmation bias. But if you wanted to recreate it, look for patterns in the numbers. Eg 0000 0000 0000 0000 is less random than 1001 1100 1010 0010
Can we use the machine to predict the winning soccer team in a world cup? Example: Germany vs France, deploy machines in Germany and in France and see how the deviation different between the two countries. Who knows the winning team will show positive deviation and the losing one will show negative deviation.

I wonder if the scientists who ran the 1950s acid studies on those housewives were trying to learn about this global consciousness thing, seeing if the drug effects were linked to getting in touch with the universal community, or if the two had nothing to do with each other.
we could also try a youtube experiment with this.. since a lot of people watched it we could try to focus real hard on a thought and see if the random number generator is disturbed by it or not.

I am not critical. I just say, that the problem is not technology, the problem are we. Of course we can. But we just don't! People don't want to know. Some of was do. Also you're saying all these possible events EXIST somewhere, in some way (it's not just metaphorical). You're also saying, I think, that Radin's (and Helmut's) tape has 5th dimensional data on it (many possibilities) that is collapsed into lower dimentional data by the consciousness of the observer. That's analyzing data & establishing a link between the data and an event, but it's all after the fact. How much of a diffrence is there between the randomness & order during the event? Does it go from totally random to 1,2,3,4,5,6,7...? He never says. He just says that there is a clear change. How so?

Of course, but what I was trying to say beyond this triviality is that we naturally accept to use different tools for different practicle problems, while we find strange to accept different way of thinking for different levels of conception of our environment. And that IMO only comes from the fact that we can fool ourselves much longer vis-à-vis the field of application of a theory, than vis-à-vis the one of a material tool (sorry for my poor english).
Everything comes together. I mean, you have that series called "The Secret" which comes down to: you can make your own reality. You also have that quantum mechanical effect that the molecules of water form up beatifully when exposed to the written word love and becoma a ugly mess when exposed to the written words hate and anger. This is yet another proof that our minds have a huge impact on the world. The only difference with other expiriments is that this one is scientific
@1234stives I do know a bit about it. Quantum physics in no way supports such a claim. I'm assuming you're referring to entanglement - in which two particles can be 'contected' to each other althought they may be physcially far from each other. When entangled one of the particles can effect the other partical instantly over a large distance. ONLY entangled particles effect each other in such a way. There have been plenty of other tests that seem to support some inter-connectedness bewtween everything, not a god, just a connection. The double slit experiment, entanglement theory, and chaos theory all seem to suggest a higher conscious or at least suggests that there is some hidden reality that we cannot observe. Yes, maybe this test has a variable unaccounted for but that does not mean we should discard the theory all together.

what are you talking about? Did you watch the same video? There is absolutely no data-dredging, the results speak for itself. The "randomness" becomes coherent during world events with peoples attention being focused. It is what it is! There is no misinterpretation other than perhaps some other cause being responsible for the change in the RNGs which is highly unlikely as no other factors are involved. Did you not hear Dean state that the odds against it being chance are 1000000/1?
@IceAges14Aces You're right and that's why i always read about the discussion on wikipedia and the changes that were made. Wikipedia is great because you can always find both sides of the coin. But come on, just look at the experiment and the results...sometimes the random number generator reacted before and sometimes after and event...and sometimes not at all. And sometimes the RNG gets highly unproable results without anything happening. What should that be proving? unconnnectedness imho

Electricity which our bodies run on, are all thinking of the same thing, which would be like drawing a similar pathway of electricity that fires through your synapses. Given that humans are all similar enough, it would be electricity flowing through everyone’s brain thinking of the same thing (thinking of different things, or feeling different emotions will have electricity flowing through them depending on the emotion. So if we’re all happy, then it’s likely that we will all think of a happy thought, and thus light up areas of the brain which represent happiness (be it dopamine or whatever the specific scientific ingredient is)… This means that the energy signature, will be similar at a large scale (eg an event like 9-11 where the larger majority of the measured group, is experiencing the same energy signature (emotion). This would then have a huge pull on the way energy is flowing through the random number generators. If everyone is feeling a similar emotion, and our brains light up similar areas when we feel that emotion, then at scale, this effects an invisible magnetic field, which will change the current flow of energy through the wires, and into the random number generators.
"The system that should be behaving randomly are no more behaving random"; if this doesn't inspirs you to know more about YOU I do not know what will!

Yes, it's truly mindblowing. I got so into it I got the original papers out to the library. I'm still reading up on it. The implications are that the data is not on the tape until it is observed, that is to say until the quantum indeterminacy is collapsed by the observer (of course, once it is collapsed, you cannot change it). Matter would seem to be a construct of consciousnes, not objectively real. QM vindicates (more or less) Kant as well as Buddhism and much oriental philosophy.

This is a good example of academics falsely trying to find cause and effect relationships where they don't exist. So many countless doctoral theses written for the same reason never advance human knowledge because they are "reaching" for something that isn't there. If he'd publish his findings, I'm sure you'd find an error coefficient which is perfectly plausible and could not be attributed to anything other than normal variance.
This is definitely what Jacobo Grinberg was talking about with his "lattice" and syntergic theory.
Interesting that 2 hours before 911 the random generators stopped running randomly. The cause could not be "collective mind" because the event had not happened yet. Something else was affecting the generators...

This theory appears ridiculous yet plausible and understandable. However, what are the practical implications of a global consciousness interconnected with all of global matter? I can't think of any.
@Vernonpaddy Regardless if they are negligible or not is beside the point. They are there. The unexplained parts of science can be ignores? Science doesn't ignore what it can not explain. It charges at the things it cannot explain. Whether there is practical applications are not are beside the point. Science is the search for knowledge.

collective consciousness is like sunyata in Buddhism which means emptiness; or for better words emptiness of consciousness. Because Buddha taught that we are all one in a void state/place. "Emptiness is form and form is emptiness" Not a Buddhist just found it interesting.
I wouldnt sum up Dean Radins career on RNG alone, he's done a few doozies. But nothing was more profound than Time Reversed Human Experience in Precognitive studies, where EEG brainscans monitor brainwave function during response of emotional stimuli, This test has been practiced at campuses globally as scaring & arousing patients shows significant brain activity. RNG is no more validating than the old card guessing trials. For the simple reason of synchronicity & lack of stimuli.

When someone is reported missing on the television news, or there is a war, perhaps the news should adopt a biased approach now and present it in such as way that the viewers are encouraged to send love and safety to the victims - instead of have everyone think the worst and give it more negative attention.
I think this is the secret of professional gamblers. Have you ever wondered how professional gamblers seem to keep winning more than they lose while everybody else loses more than they win? I think it's because they do it all the time, day after day. After a while the constant attention and intention to winning starts to favor the odds to their advantage.
Or maybe not so strange. Maybe it is our conception of separation witch is strange, being just a usefull tool to concieve reallity at a certain level, but quiet inadequat to concive it at other levels.

Yes there is a direct link between consciousness and matter around you. But you will only notice it if you have extremely high consciousness at the time but you will only be the one that experiences it as no one else will be there ready to measure your consciousness when it is being experienced. I do not think you can directly measure it. But it is there. I will be interested in the results that happen a day before the global tsunamis in 2004.

So this, hypothetically, could be measuring a force that bridges our minds in an interconnected consciousness. So, we would all be one mind, separated by different physical realities.
