- My good friend Jeff invited me to go out treasure hunting in his 33 Dodge Brothers Rat Rod truck. This was such a fun filled adventure day. What a thrill it was cruising back roads in this classic Hemi powered truck. Please watch the entire episode because we ended up uncovering a petroleum artifact. A complete walk around this vintage truck is also featured along with a ride along.

Love the old mopar truck and its got a hemi in I'm building a 41 dodge pickup slowly as I've got a bad back but one day nice score on the sign well keep the video's coming
Thank you Tim, I am glad you liked the truck. Jeff did an incredible job rebuilding the drivetrain and upgrading the suspension. It’s so old school Hot Rod with that old body and vintage hemi but drives like a dream . I am sorry to hear your back is bad. I hope you can get yours finished so you can enjoy it. Man you should put the kids at the beginning of your video! They were a blast. Makes me think about my boys riding that tencent ride horse in front of the old five and dime. The sign place looks magnificent. Hope you get in there someday. It's too bad your friend's truck wasn't running a Holley carburetor. And if you picked up two gas pumps instead of one. Then he be driving a double pumper!🤣🤣🤣. Had work too hard for that setup I hope you got a laugh out of it. Here at the homestead of car old we set around the rock pile on the trailer and listen to Little bit of Rob and Friends! Yeah I didn't have enough fluid for the hydraulics on a bobcat. So now we're dealing with shovel and wheelbarrow. Great episode. Glad you stepped out of your Norm. Good expansion of your theme!
Well thank you Old Car Legend. I laughed hard when you mentioned the Holly carburetor joke. I did not see that one coming!!! I added Jeff’s children at the end as an afterthought and every time I watch it I start laughing hard because it reminds me of myself as a child. My mother would leave me with my grandpa in the car as she and grandma went grocery shopping. My grandfather would allow me to sit behind the wheel and pretend I was driving. I also made engine sounds as I pretended to turn that steering wheel! 😁😁😁I hope Jeff gets us into that sign property also. Even that old crawler tractor on display looked neat . I’m glad you liked the video. Yes I wanted to try something a bit different this time and enjoyed it very much.

@@gaspumprob FYI something weird!!! I just got a reply that was dated three weeks ago from a guy I made a comment on. It has been a few days but I did not make a comment 3 weeks ago because it had to be sooner because I don't think the episode is more than a week old! Also it's not you and not tractor 🚜 man. One other thing I wonder why he hadn't posted in time recently because I hadn't seen his episodes for last couple of weeks. I was no longer subscribe to his channel. I can assure you I would not do that on purpose. I doubt that I did it on accident. So I wonder how I unsubscribe from his channel? Collector on the corner. He does a lot with homelite chainsaws. That was my dad's favorite of saw 🪚. His channel changed to more what he does when he goes to the auction then about older vehicles. But him and his wife still make it fun to watch. Anyway I just found it interesting about the timestamp buy UA-cam concerning that you and I have had interesting things concerning our comments here and there.

The old tractor is probably totally rebuildable. All it takes is a pile on money. LOL The IR compressor is awesome too. Just yesterday I picked up an old, old (did I say 'old'?) concrete mixer and it has a very similar rope start motor on it with the fuel sediment bowl. I unloaded it and haven't looked closer at it yet though. Its not stuck and last ran about 20 years ago...and been under roof all this time. So we will see. Good video and I love your buddy's truck and the Hemi is awesome. Too bad about the old Chrysler donor though. I could ride with you guys all day Rob !!
The concrete mixer sounds interesting!!! I like old equipment and engines! The first engine I ever rebuilt was an early air cooled rope start four stroke. I was in a junior high school class at the time. I was about 13 years old . I’m glad you enjoyed the video. You are more than welcome to ride along with us sometime. Jeff liked your gas pump video shot at your brothers place. They selling that Chrysler car and no one would step up. By parting it out it brought crazy money. Someone needed the clean California body because his car sane model was completely rusted out. Take care my friend
@@gaspumprob You know, as sad as it is that some nice things are parted out, it's kinda like being an organ donor in a way. Without the donor, both vehicles would die. So let it give a bit of life to several others so that they can live on and take a piece of them right along with 'em !!

@@tractorman4461 Yes I agree with you about the donor vehicles. I also thought that Chrysler looked nice but after he explained what transpired I was feeling much better about it being parted out. What you wrote about the gas pump video at your brothers house - well that was hilarious 😂

Yes drive as is, there was a 1934 Dodge truck for sale in Napa California it was a fixer upper but all the parts were there. It was a good asking price to.

oops...pushed the button before I saw the old drill press at 23:34. I have very close to the same one....at least its the same style....in my shop. It's powered by an electric motor through a 4 speed truck transmission.
