7:50 The first and only time I encountered this giant was when I played Skyrim VR. I was running around doing quests, collecting plants and busy with the environment around me, just to look beside me to see this giant staring at me for not that far of a distance, I was horrified for a moment and got chills from the scene. At that time I knew for sure that making a VR version of Skyrim was a great choice. Because that is a world you owe yourself to experience it by being present IN it.

Oh I feel like a horrible person now. So I found the mourning giant a couple days ago while I was hunting for creep clusters. I always need Giants toe for alchemy so I got extremely excited to see a giant. Sure, at first I thought it was strange, just him standing there. But after smacking him twice and stealing his toe, I ran off to continue my creep cluster hunt. Now I feel bad.

    • @faye9958

Exactly what happened to me, a while back I was actually hunting for giant toes, he was easy to kill which made me quite happy. I didn't know that he was mourning his mammoth friend.. I did find it strange as to why he was alone and away from a giant's camp but I ignored it..
      Now I feel so bad..

There is an unmarked location behind the rift orc stronghold, hidden around the side of the mountain, it is a full ancient nord ruin entrance there is a troll there maybe a chest and some loot. It would be a dungeon but the door way is blocked. So we will never know what was once there unfortunately.

I don't know if you've ever heard of Yellowstone National Park, in the U. S., but I think, maybe, the hot springs where the mammoths go to die in Skyrim may be a little bit of an Easter egg, referring to a hot spring in Yellowstone. It's name is Mammoth Hot Springs. They look very much like the one in Skyrim, only bigger. Just thought you'd like to know! Google it and check out the pics!

there is a bandit camp (halted stream) with a cave full of mammoth tusk, iron ore, and a unique transmute spell just west of that whiterun mammoth boneyard. proventus Avenicci will give you a job to clear out that cave. that transmute spell can turn all your iron ore to silver, and then gold. This is my go to spot in the beginning as you can get a good financial start buying iron ore and turning it into golden jewelry, and get a tusk for that merchant wannabe in whiterun who'll give you a point of speechcraft. transmute is also a good way to level up that alteration skill for the magic resistance perk. Bretons know whats up.

Thats awesome im only level 57 right now. I feel like my char is very strong but knowing i can get even stronger that encouraged me to keep playing. I thought for the longest after level 35-40 clearing game meant you cant get much stronger. I was wrong as hell.

They are not the only mammoth poachers in the game. There is a whole camp next to the location that poach mammoths.

Yep, you just need to look for the fallen head behind one of the stones and it will have the missing answer to the puzzle. Put all animals accordingly and pull the lever.
