it's pretty good trash honestly, i recommend looking up some of the more popular seasons and giving em a go.
I just started watching it and I really like it. It is like just as you say, the insentive to play co-operatively really adds to it. And I also like that they don't hide when 'perfect matches' don't work out in the end. That said, it definitely is trash but tbh that's what makes these types of shows relaxing to me so I wouldn't want it trash-free anyway.
