- Did you know that there are professional unicyclists out there, ripping it up? It's true! Street Uni X is out now on Steam and re-creates a lot of the look and feel of Activision's O2 lineup like Tony Hawk, Mat Hoffman, and so on.

not that *anyone* ever asked, but unicycling is not a crime
Tis..
Soundtrack is completely legitimate
it's like if the extreme sports genre never died and Activision just dug further and further into the bin.
360p only enhances this experience.
There's an energy to the intro here mingling with Jeff snapping into a drink that smells like animal feed that I find very special.
The combination creates a mental smell that I can almost feel is real and it smells like one of those underground parking garages when you park near the back and it reeks of beer and piss
Unicycle hayride, sponsored by R* energy beverage
The crazy thing is that riding a unicycle is a constant manual.
I’d try unicycling but I know 5 seconds in I’d fall back and crack the back of my skull
This soundtrack fucks
fuck yeah 360p just makes it better
I like how the unicycle returns to you using the power of the force.
That's also a THPS nod. It's crazy how authentic this game feels to those PS1 sports games (though the Sidekick menu is a PS2 era thing)
The separation of church and the unicycle
the vibes are quite nice I must say
A feel a unicycle game soundtrack should lean more heavily into calliope-based music.
The soundtrack rips
Reminds me of the time when Activision produced other THPS-like games like Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX and Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer. Those were the times.
yeah, I run that street UNIX
Those Colombian kernels
It's a Unix system, I know this.
This seems really cool, I remember when it was first getting buzz years ago! Glad to see it developed, I might have to check it out :)
Now that's a soundtrack to drink to
Damn that is a good soundtrack.
Mate is a very herbal and kind of grassy american South American drink that has stimulants of some sort it in. Tends to feel a little smoother than caffeine.
The taste and smell you described definitely makes sense for Mate
Yeah this soundtrack is pretty great
That’s a real phone, the HTC G1, the first ever android phone. Which to be fair was a real-life Sidekick knockoff in a lot of ways
How long will this game remain available before Disney/Pixar does a C&D on the game for its usage of unicycles?
This is awesome. Love you Jeff. Hope you and your family are doing well.
Anyone got a track list? Or at least know the name of the band with the song where they go "There's something about this place"? Dope soundtrack
Title track to the album W(ph)oopsie! by Sleepover Club (they have a bandcamp)
Why isn't all the music in this ska?
I really like what they're trying here, but why not just go full on thps controls?
What about Street Linux.
This is game perfectly aligned to my tastes. I’m off to buy it. Thanks, Jeff!
Seems neat, though I hope somebody mods in Tony Hawk style controls down the line, the developer intended ones look really finicky
Does anyone recognise the music or did the developer bring in a bunch of local artists? Either way that soundtrack rules.
Still unsure what "Is this real music" means lmao
I had to look up each song as it played (it flashes on screen in the bottom right every time you restart) and it seems to be a lot of Canadian punk bands, mostly Vancouver.
@@cooljammer00 Right on, support the local!
I would gladly pay 20 bucks for this on console so I hope it does well on Steam.
I prefer Street Linu X and Street TempleOS, but this'll do.
it's weird to make this SO tony hawk / dave mirra and change the grind button???????
