- Today we're looking at the Audew 300 Count Thermoelectric Humidor! As the competition in thermoelectric humidors is heating up, it's critical that these things perform at the highest levels. Let's see if Audew's 300 count humidor has the stuff cigar smokers are looking for!

My wife wants to get me one for my birthday. I’ll have to tell her, hey babe, it’s more efficient if it’s full all the time! 😂 we’ll see how that works. Lol
I’ve had mine for about 5 months now, it’s such a nice humidor I’ve had no problems at all with mine. Great hassle free option
I fully reccomend purchasing one of these. I have this exact unit and I absolutley love it. Its hassle free and functions great. Ive had it for months with zero issues. Great review!
I love this channel, as a beginning cigar lover, this guy had thought me so much. His enthusiasm about cigars is also contagious. Thank you bro!
Hey Tim! Great review! I’m a relatively new cigar smoker (2 years) and have been living out of tupperdors. I quickly outgrew my first CD acrylic jar and got to the point where I had several other bins. I just acquired this Audew unit a couple of weeks ago and am very happy so far!
Thanks for all of your reviews Tim, I really enjoy them very much. Blessings!
I just got this exact humi last month! So easy and low maintenance. I just got a Humi-care Turbo last month for it too. Rock solid performance! I too was a little bummed about the full opening of the door to adjust shelves but that is really it.
Thanks again Tim for another solid review video!!!
I have one of these now for about 2 months. Holds humidity great!! When I bought it I didn’t realize there was no heating element, so through the winter that has been a bit disappointing, but not enough to return it. I’m very happy with its capacity and features, especially for the price.
I love mine, I've had ot up and running for about 3 months with no problems. Highly recommend
Been drooling over this humidor for sometime now just haven’t pulled the trigger. Hard for me to spend money on my self when I’ve got 4 kiddos that I would rather spend on! Great review.
Seriously considering getting one these ,hopefully soon, looks like a nice alternative to the New Air's. Thanks for the review Tim.
Nice review and thanks for all you do for all of us cigar lovers
To anyone on the fence about getting it: pull the trigger. I own one now, and it is the easiest end all be all solution to cigar storage. There’s no guesswork with internal temperature, certainly no guesswork with Boveda for humidity, and it is easy to adjust the settings and play Tetris with your boxes and bundles. I have close to 300 cigars in mine now and can say that it will easily hold more if you’re a robusto/corono fan. To give an idea of how much I can hold in this, I have a box of 20 JR cigars bone shaker (6x60), box of CAO Nicaragua 20 (5x46), box of oliva master blends III 20 (5x52), box of 25 villiger la meridiana (7x48), bundle of 25 factory smokes maduro (6x50), box of 20 HVC Cerro (5x58), and the list goes on. Not a SINGLE issue with my unit. For the price, I can’t complain.
I have had my 300 count for about 3 months now and it is great. This winter even at the highest temp of 74 the cooler kept it at about 63 degrees. Humidity stays on point and it holds cigars well. Only draw back for me is I have to many cigars and need another one or a bigger humidor, lol.
Thanks for the review Tim, I'm definitely considering this bad boy
My roommate and I are planning on buying this model. We've been smoking for a few months and have already grown to multiple humidors and tupperdors. Thanks for the great review, now I know it's worth the investment.
Great review ! Tim is THE man !!!!
That's the one I got. Love it. Living in Florida my house goes from 70-82 degrees but with my audew smokes keep very well
I have this exact product from Audew. Great product and I’ve had no issues keeps my sticks ready to smoke at all times!
Hooyah Warfighter! I’m a rep for them and it makes me rally happy to see it in your humidor!
I just got mine set up today. This humidor is luxury! Very happy with it.
I picked one up in December and it's been working perfectly...Just planning on switching out one of the shelves for another drawer, then tossing in an Oasis when these Bovada packs expire...Great video!
Hi Tim....great review! I've owned the smaller Audew 150 for about a year now, and it has greatly improved how I store and care for my cigar collection. However, I've also quickly outgrown it and now have to rely more and more on additional Boveda humidor bags for my boxes and extra cigars. I really have no complaints except for the minor ones you pointed out in this review.....you must open the door all the way, it only cools, and most of all, I can't see my cigars because of the coating on the glass door! All said, though, I'm very happy with it. BUT....I really could use a bigger one (hint, hint)! Thanks for all the great cigar content you post and for all the great cigars you keep in stock!
Tim I’m tired of buying tupperdors! When you’re ready to give that away, I’m here for it! Great video as always!
I love my 150 count unit. I actually prefer the tempered glass in my living room setting because it has a cleaner look ascetic wise for dates and non cigar smoking friends. Mike has maintained a constant 72 percent going on 3 months now. Shot up a couple of times to 73 if I didn't keep it stocked, but really stayed 72 percent consistently. I love it.
Great review. I just ordered the Audew 300 yesterday. Also ordered the Cigar Oasis Excel 3.0.
Tim I have had my 300 for just over a year. Absolutely no problems!!!
Hey man, how’s the Audew 300 holding up for you? I’m looking to get one so just wondering how the longevity is.
Giveaway that humidor... You are truly a gentleman Tim!
This is a solid unit, I would totally have gotten one if I didn't impulse buy a New Air 300H last year. This is also IMO the smallest size thermoelectric unit I would recommend. I had the smaller New Air and was constantly feeling cramped for space.
I got mine about a month ago and freaking love it. Did exactly what Tim did and I hold 68-69% no prob!!!!
Wife got me the 150 for Christmas and other then what you said about it I love it, it's perfect for what I need!
I've owned this humidor for overb6 months now, no complains at all. It's been flawless.
I have the 150 count and LOVE it! Aside from the mirrored glass, I have no issues.
I've had the 150 Audew since November. With four 60g Boveda 69% packs, my Cigar Oasis and Govee (both calibrated) consistently show about 66% at 66F right now, in the frigid northeast in my basement mancave (which itself is humidified due to acoustic guitars). It's packed, though, and I'm having to use desktops for overlow, so this is really tempting, especially with the discount coupon. Great review. I think the products are very good.
I have the 300 for about 1 year... love it!
Hey Tim, when you're done with that, send it to Australia. It's so hot here, we don't need a heating function. But, the cooling would really help and trust me, I won't even mind if you leave all those cigars in it when you send. Cheers mate...
Hey Tim , my humidor only took a day in and half to reach that 75% humidity qith the 2 84% . At first I'm thinking it was too fast, but I took those out and put 2 72%, put my cigars in and it's maintained to 70%, so I guess it was ok it reached the humidity that fast. Thanks for the video, your awesome, a fan for years now, keep up the great work
Morning Tim, Thanks for the review, been looking at these for my man cave
Hey Tim I really appreciate the video on this model. I strongly considered getting one. I see there have been lots of reviews on this model with the reviewers giving it high praise however, there are several written reviews where customers are having issues with it maintaining temperature, or even coming up to the correct temp to begin with. Is it possible for you to do a follow up on this within a few months? Also, are you going to be doing any other videos on your other channel?
She lookin' good Tim!!! Absolutely loving my 150 count.
Great job Tim
Great product. I purchased mine for christmas and the analog hydrometer is only a percent or two off from the digital one i added. The only downside is as you showed, the door has to be completely open to pull the shelves out and the lighting. My next purchase will be the NewAir 840, just for the additional lighting.
I bought the 300 after you reviewed the 150. I found exactly what you did. Humidity stays very steady. I'm using a 320g 69% Boveda pack and running steady at 70%. I remove my cigars from their boxes to store them and the only thing I wish is that it provided drawers instead of shelves but that is personal preference. Great Humidor and can't recommend it enough.
You can buy extra drawers at the Audew website. I bought two.
Love to have one of these- looks awesome.
I have the 300 and it's near perfect (I also hate the open door/shelf issue), but it's performed like a champ the last 4 months.
I have this exact audew humidor and I love it. Got nothing but good experiences from it in the 2 years I've been using it. And the price was amazing. I think I got it for 200? It was much cheaper than it's new air counterpart and it performs great
Hey Tim I really appreciate the video on this model. I have had my 300 count for about 2 years now and it is great. This winter even at the highest temp of 74 the cooler kept it at about 63 degrees. Humidity stays on point and it holds the cigars well. Is it okay to disconnect the unit from the power source in order for the temperature to go up? I'm in Los Angeles and it is the month of December 2022, with cooler temperature outside but the indoor temp. is at 71F.
One day I will probably go this route but for the last 15-20 years I have just kept a wooden 50 count humidor at home and a wooden 50 count humidor in the office and a Cigar Caddy with me in between that holds about 7-10 cigars, cutters, and lighters. This has worked well for me but I do not buy boxes of cigars. If I had one of these larger type coolidors I could then buy and store boxes so I see the benefit of having one of these.
I have the same one! I love it!

I have the 150ct. And i solved the lighting issue with a les strip now i can see my cigars and it changes colors. Awesome
Les strip? We need pictures!

I’ve been wanting a humidor like this, I have a desktop humidor that was my fathers and after he passed in 2021 I took ownership, it’s not great but it has sentimental value to me. I really want to grow my collection and I think if I had a larger humidor I’d be more likely to start filling and age some great sticks for special occasions or celebrations. For some reason I really like the modern glass top/door and put some nice soft yellow lighting to show the collection, but I personally think slanted style shelves are better for presentation, viewing and storing.
I haven’t been deeply into cigars but I’ve smoked them occasionally over the past 15 or so years and have been enjoying them more over the past 3 - 4 years or so as I get a little older.
I'm broke and love cigars. It would be like a dream if you guys gave me this humidor. Even if not I'm still a big fan keep it up. You guys are awsome
Pretty good review process. BUUUUUUUUT.... I ONLY use these coolers for my cigars. I've had I think 8 and I ALWAYS have at least 2 going ALL the time. So, in the start, even if you don't have any smell in them you should ALWAYS clean it with distilled water and baking soda (plastic only). I clean them 3 times before I start any humidifying. It only takes an hour to do it 3 times. Then I put the shelves back and throw half the amount of 82% Boveda packs needed for the space in for 1 week. After the week I'll take the Bovedas out and put in 2/3 the amount needed for the space of 69% or 65% Bovedas (depending on what I'm putting in it) for a day or 2. Then I'll add my cigars (no boxes). That's how to long term do a cooler. You MUST remember, these are air tight. You can add more Boveda with the sticks, but half works well without having to buy a ton of Bovedas. These are not the same as a wood box. They say 300 sticks but if you took everything out and filled it top to bottom with robustos you'd get closer to 350+. It's trial and error. This is what has worked in 6 of my coolers. It took me the first 2 to figure it out lol. Thanks for the content Timmy.
God bless
I picked up one of these as a graduation to myself. The unit looks good enough to stay on my living room without looking odd or out of place. It maintains temperature and humidity perfectly. I only have 2 complaints on the unit; 1. The single light at the top only lights the top shelf. I fixed this by adding battery powered remote LED strip lights to the unit. 2. The shelves or horrible for storing singles. Once you start stacking them if you want to grab something specific it’s very difficult. I corrected this by finding plastic baskets at the dollar store that fit the shelves perfectly and I cut the fronts of them off so I can see my collection just as good as before. I highly recommend this unit especially for the price.
You can get cedar trays on Amazon that fit on the shelves. They say they will start selling a tray that will will replace the shelf on some models. Or if you are handy in the wood shop, you could make some the way you like.
Which LED strips did you go with? I’ve been wanting to add them to my Audew after seeing the measly light at the top lol
I enjoy your channel and videos.
Love this
It took me awhile to realize that my house was too cold to keep the unit running continuously. The Boveda Butler is s rock star!! I think I may need a second cooler though. HA
I think I have the same problem. Mine will not hit 74°and stays at 69° 70° inside humidity stays at 66-69 with 2 329grams 65% Boveda packs. What was your solution?
Had mone for just over a year. love it cant say enough about it. im still trying out different temps to see what works best.
I bought this one about a tear ago and it has performed great. A few months back I ordered 2 extra drawers from Amazon to increase my capacity and replace 2 shelves. I keep my cigars loose and I found that they would roll off the shelves. Great review, I highly recommend this unit also.
Which drawer did you get
Do you mind sharing the link? I was actually thinking of doing the same thing
Tim, have you seen the Tooca model ?? They look the same. however my question is if your room is at 75 degrees will this unit keep it at the desired setting of 70 degrees? And if your room dips to a colder tempt. is there anything you would suggest to keep the heat up? Thanks
Do you need to put distilled water in it as well as the Boveda packs. Or do the bovedas replace the distilled water
I like to pull them out of boxes...do you think this will work just as well with open cigars keeping at the same % and temp?
Do you turn it on when you put the boveda pack in and if so what temp did you set it to
Hi random question. Is there a reason you don’t wipe down the Spanish Cedar shelves? My unit just came in and want to season it properly. Probably going to do your method but just wasn’t sure if there was a reason behind not wiping down the shelves. Excited to try this unit out. Heard nothing but good things. Thank you
I have mine full but my cigars are not in boxes. Fit about half my collection in it , 287 cigars for the record. I have tuppers for the rest. I keep my top stuff in the audew and my every day stuff in the tips. The door bothers me as well but all in all I live it. It did have a heavy plastic scent but some activated carbon for three days took care of that.
Did you season it before plugging it in for the 1st time? Or was it on during seasoning?
Got this for Christmas from my wife and kids, she was tired of the tupidors. Set it up as directed and have had absolutely no problems with humidity, hitting 70 on every shelf using Humicare gel cups and a few 60 gram Bovida bags. But I am having problems with temperature. The Audew is in a common area in my house and we live in SoCal but the humidor wants to keep cooling to the mid 60''s.even when I set it at 70 degrees. The only option was to unplug it and that has worked fine and I'm getting my desired 70/70. I'll see what happens when the weather warms up.
Real need to get one of these.
Does it have to be plugged in if you use 84 boveda packs to season it?
1,000th like! I got one of these for Christmas from my daughter! I have to heat it externally with a good quality room heater that can be set. I set the temp on the Audew unit at 67F. But the extreme cold of winter hampers that a bit even yet. I have 5 60g Boveda packets in it. 65% and one 72% since I ran out of 60g packets. Might try two 320g packets and see if that gives more RH% stability? Otherwise, my cigar collection stored in it have a bit more of their finer flavors coming out. So, I'm pleased with it's performance over-all.
Since I am not yet a user of the Boveda system, could you please message me, when to replace a Boveda pack, after the initial placement of the first one?
I love mine, I'm from pa if you get worried about it being to cold just unplug it, and your good to go
Looks nice but I still have ambitions of converting an antique medical cabinet to a humidor. Reviews like this give me ideas for what works and what doesn't. Thanks!
Yo Tim @Cigars Daily i’ll be more than glad to take that off your hands! Lol
I've had mine for about 3 months. Overall I really like the unit. I have the same gripe with the door having to be all the way open to get the drawers/shelves out. That is really annoying because everywhere that I have available to put the unit at in my man cave restricts the side that the door opens to. The only other gripe is I wish they had put at least 2 drawers in there. The shelves are cool but two drawers and three shelves would have been better. I have ordered 2 additional drawers. Just waiting for them to arrive.
Please do a review on that brick house Tim. Looks awesome.
So After you go from the 84%bevedas to the 72% Bevedas to regulate to about 71% humidity my question is How often do you have to change the 72%Beveda packs? Thanks just trying to figure mine out.
Would love to be the one who wins this unit. Thanks for the review.
Already have an audew humidor, the 150 size. Looking to eventually getting a larger humidor. My only complaint is the hygrometer that comes fastened to the drawer. You can't remove it without damaging the drawer. It's not really accurate and can't reset it or replace it with a digital one. Want to find a humidor with both temp control and humidity control. What would you recommend?
Should I take my cigars out of the boxes or cellophane when I store them in my electric humidor
I have a whyter one and my problem with it is usually the summer it doesn’t cool the cigars so the temperature is what ever it is in the room but it holds the humidity so well perhaps is time for a donation Tim😉😉
Hello i got mine 2 weeks ago i season it to bout 75% (3days) then i put in the same 2- 72% 320gram bovedas it was great the first couple of days but i just cant seem to keep it at 69% humidity it just keeps going up is there a plug i need to remove what did i do wron could really use some help thanx!
I just bought the 150 count one and it doesn't hold temp any help?
How is it working after all this time? Im really looking into buying one just waiting on the test of time.
Would you recommend Audew 300 or the Needone 48L cooler
I have had this unit for about 2 years with no problems. 2 weeks ago it started chirping and I cleaned out the filter in the back which seemed to work. Now it is doing it again and the temperature is climbing slightly. Anyone else have this problem?
Do you prefer this over the new air 250?
Ordering one.
For those that own this, are you using something like a cigar oasis to keep it humidified?
I am understanding that they make aftermarket drawers for that particular humidor that are pretty cool. Do you know so you don’t have just a flat shelf where the cigars can fall off.
Shouldn't you remove the plastic wrap on the boxes? I understand leaving the cellophane on the sticks but isn't the box wrap to keep moisture in during shipping as it doesn't breathe? How many packs are you using? I have 6 in a 75 count humi and 8 in a 100 count. It is Ottawa in winter so I'm hoping that's why, previously I kept my humi's in the basement in Winnipeg (colder but more humid) and used one less than recommended with no problems.
what's the best version of these that can also heat?? during summer here its hot and struggle to keep the humidor down and then during winter nights its gets freezing temperatures so i really want to find something that can consistently just keep a solid temperature no matter how the environment is???
This a great unit, but if you need the "heat" too, then look at NewAir. However, you'll pay at least $100-125 more for a bit smaller unit.
Hi nice review. Humidor look great but I was wondering if the fan was making a lot of noise ? I’d like to put this humidor in my living room and I wouldn’t want it to make to much noise for my wife when she is there reading a book or something.
How many of the 72% Bovedas did you use after it was seasoned?
I have one of these and one of the NeedOne humidor coolidor. Side x side they are both awesome. I keep my sticks I want to age and my better higher quality cigars in this one and my everyday and giveaway cigars in the NeedOne. I keep cigars unboxed in both of them and have only a small complaint about keeping cigars on the shelves when I pull them out. Does anyone know if a guy can buy the drawers separate and toss the shelves?
I just bought one of these humidors. For some reason I can't get my temp to 70 where I want it. Also even with a big boveda 69% pack and 3 small ones. The humidity won't go above 64% please help
I received my Audew 300 count today and it is awesome. In the instructions it doesn't specify that when it is being seasoned it should be plugged in or not? I hope that isnt a foolish question but I am curious what others are doing or of I made a human error by being illiterate lol. Thanks! Oh, Tim and cigars daily crew, you all are awesome! Love the new HQ!
Love my Audew.
I am just getting in ciggar but l love to have one there cool
