Wow. I've just completed this practice, my first ever experience of Kundalini yoga and I'm totally in love with it. Hard to explain how my mind feels...tingly. My lips and tongue too. Almost tearful, but in a good way. I feel anticipatory, as if my mind and body have been waiting for this all my life. At 57 it's a real surprise! Needless to say I'll be continuing. Thank you! 🙂
I used to do kundalini yoga and got out of practice and I could definitely feel how much emotion, tension and stress I have been storing up in my body and I was in tears with the emotional release and can’t wait to continue - thank you! ❤

I'm coming back from a very long illness and am a Kundalini instructor and thought this was lovely especially if you can't do anything but sit in a chair and aren't strong enough to get up and down from the flloor. Sat Nam
Been feeling so good since starting Kundalini with you. Whenever I finish, I feel such an amazing energy surge through me. Some times more than others but, each time is amazing. (Helps me release pent up emotions too but I feel good when that's over so yay!) Each morning I do Isha Kriya with Sadhguru, then Kundalini with you, starting namaskar yoga with Sadhguru, then a 10 min basic yoga to finish stretching me out lol All before my 2 littles wake and going to the dog park for 2 hours. The Kundalini is key in my practice now though. And I'm so excited and thankful, for all these yoga gifts you share! Love to all!
I suffer from depression so I thought I'd start with the yoga for anxiety and depression. You suggested starting with the first class in the series since we would be using many of those teachings throughout the beginner Kundalini series. I did, and I feel wonderful, energized, and happy. Thank you Bret. I truly appreciate you making these videos accessible to me at home and for free right now. It’s allowing me a tool to support my weight loss and depression in the mornings. A gift of a foundation to begin the day. One thing that sort of still trips me up is sometimes you will begin guiding or talking during an exercise and I think the exercise is over. I personally am just beginning to figure out unless you actually say (come to a close) on an exercise not to stop while you guide us deeper into an exercise. Just passing on for future beginner videos. Maybe just a reminder to keep going while I guide you deeper into the exercise. 🙏 Thank you !!!!
My first time doing the Breath of Fire was from the 30-minute Kundalini Yoga Practice for Beginners and I felt this tingling at my wrists and later down my arms a bit. This time, I felt a magnetism when focusing on the area around me. I've noticed that this greatly improves my focus as well. I'm hoping that through consistent practice, I can build up this energy more and more
This was wonderful and totally shifted my energy. Found the warmth in my belly and my mind is clearer now. Also loved how you made it simple to begin with, so it felt fun and easy. Love it! And it was just what I needed today.
I feel warm and energized today. I've done these exercises within your detox yoga fusion challenge but today I made new connections and my breath of fire finally clicked in today. I have been afraid of Kundalini practices because within the challenge many times I started to cry from the difficult repetition but I'm going to stick with this and see where it will lead me. Thank you for all of your videos and wisdom. 🙏

Loved this class. I have done lots of your other kundalini classes but I thought I would start from the beginning. Can't wait for tomorrow! I love chanting now. I felt weird about it when I first started but now it is so cleansing for some reason. Love it. Namaste!!!!
Hi Ellen - I too have always skipped the chanting in yoga but I'm going to start doing it as I am sure it makes a difference to the effect of the practice. It reverberates around your head which stops you thinking about other things!
This was a wonderful class. I am an experienced yogi, but quite new to Kundalini, and this 20-minute intro was perfect. That is one big reason I love Brett Larkin... although I have maintained a daily yoga & seated-vipassana practice for more than 8 years now, I still learn so much from her. ...Unfortunately, the five (Five!!) noisy, 'get-off-your-butt-and-move' themed Lululemon commercials that interrupted the practice in the middle of numerous kriyas and meditation moments prevented me from dropping in, finding my zen, and getting as much out of this class as I otherwise would have. :-S
I have downloaded your Beginners course and intend to work my way through all of your excellent programs. Although I have been doing home yoga for years, I think it is really helpful to go back to basics. I certainly have not been breathing properly!
Great video! Exploring kundalini yoga is by far the most fun I've had. You're instructions are great, especially as you allow for some silence in between exercises. Great work and thank you! ☺

We’re are delighted to start our kundalini journey with you Brett, recently my hubby and I went head first into another’s practice that was advanced. Talk about diving in the deep end! After two wks our spines (we’re in our 60’s) went into huge meltdown/stiffness, it wasn’t pleasant ! 😊 now we’re back to normal and have found you. We are keen to continue doing kundalini with you and looking forward to the challenges ahead that suit us. We feel grate afterwards. And very grateful thankful. 🥰
I suffer from cptsd and narcissistic abuse. This is my second session. It didn't feel as good as the first but I felt raw emotions. It was a little more relaxing in the end but I couldn't release all of the tension.
Thank you for placing this on UA-cam. I came across you as I was looking into what Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo meant. I found your "Tune In" article and video, I must say, I really appreciated the simplicity of your way of explaining it and the clarity so I went to your channel and subscribed. I did this first video for beginners and just after the first exercise I could feel myself swirling, by the time we got to the last exercise I started feeling emotional. Funny thing though, as I got emotional, I could hear my ego mind (from the residue of old religious teachings) saying, "you're going down the wrong path, this is not of God, this is..." What kept me going was the name of the last exercise, Ego Eradicator!! My, what I call, spiritual ego did not want to be eradicated. As I continued, the breathing out got harder (will watch your how video) and I started to cry from deep within. I just let myself cry as I continued to breathe. At the end of that last exercise, the way you had us hold and look up, I felt my whole being beaming with light and the congestion in my brain was not as heavy. Look forward to day 2 I send you abundant blessings sister, thank you for doing this.
I came back to this short beginner kundalini class today after my thigh sculpt I was great for a quick class and I feel so relaxed and energized. Love practicing with you even if they are short classes. I will be back tomorrow! Namaste!!!!!

I’ve done yoga before but am definitely still a novice. This was great. You described everything perfectly. I followed along as best I could but I do have some physical challenges although I NEVER consider myself handicapped! I have a weak left side and a strong right side that is now hurting from compensating for the left for so many years. But the point is, I’m still able to do it and I’m sure I’ll get better as time goes on. Much gratitude for a practice that is relatively easy and not asking me to balance on one leg or foot. LOL And yes, I do feel much better after doing this! Love and light, blessings and Namaste. ❤️🌞🕉🙏

I have done this series -and others of yours- before but specifically looked for this one because I am doing a fast (not for weight loss but for spiritual reasons) and was looking for support and energy. I came back to this practice. I love it and will finish the entire series. I have been seeing friends during the holidays but still have made sure to get a little time on the mat every day. Have made my way through this 6 days and are repeating now. It makes me feel sooo good clears the mind settles the nerves energises and I feel more agile move better I could go on...:):) thank you for these wonderful practices . Dragon breathe is a bit tricky but I will knit all the elements together and become as graceful as you are...lol...in my dreams...

I love this class, it was nice to be able to read and understand the mantra, and also the 3 different parts of the practice. It felt Peacefull, like I was in a bubble. The rhythm is difficult to find but it's nice when you find your own. The most difficult for me was to try to have my inhale as long as my exhale in breath of fire while trying to say mentally Sat Nam at the right time ahah It got a little bit messed up, but helped me to not focus on the weight of my arms. Thank you, I'm looking forward to the other classes.
I think that I'm feeling a lot better than the first time around. The area between my shoulders was really hurting, but this time the pain was just in two much smaller areas between my shoulders. My waist was hurting quite a bit though. But at the end I was quite clear-headed, I think much more than the first time.
I decided to go through the first 6 days a third time. Breath of fire is still pretty difficult, as the center of my back is still aching, as well as the muscles in my waist and lower back. The biggest thing I noticed is that I'm still having trouble remembering to use "sat nam" during my practice. Other than that, I think I pretty much aced it. Feeling pretty excited :)
What an energy shift! I feel energetic, yet calm, composed, and my head feels light and clear! Looking forward to do so much more of this! Can't wait for tomorrow! I feel so much gratitude for encountering your beautiful videos! :) :) :)

Thank you for the video, I have just started the kundalini demystified ❤ I have taken a few classes in the past, but starting the course has given me much more insight, in previous classes I never practised breath of fire, I would use poderoso, is breath of fire safe for someone with athsma and emphasyma

I have done this series -and others of yours- before but specifically looked for this one because I am doing a fast (not for weight loss but for spiritual reasons) and was looking for support and energy. I came back to this practice. I love it and will finish the entire series. I have been seeing friends during the holidays but still have made sure to get a little time on the mat every day. I love this class, it was nice to be able to read and understand the mantra, and also the 3 different parts of the practice. It felt Peacefull, like I was in a bubble. The rhythm is difficult to find but it's nice when you find your own. The most difficult for me was to try to have my inhale as long as my exhale in breath of fire while trying to say mentally Sat Nam at the right time ahah It got a little bit messed up, but helped me to not focus on the weight of my arms.

I think that I'm feeling a lot better than the first time around. The area between my shoulders was really hurting, but this time the pain was just in two much smaller areas between my shoulders. My waist was hurting quite a bit though. But at the end I was quite clear-headed, I think much more than the first time.

Loved the video feeling energized
I decided to go through the first 6 days a third time. Breath of fire is still pretty difficult, as the center of my back is still aching, as well as the muscles in my waist and lower back. The biggest thing I noticed is that I'm still having trouble remembering to use "sat nam" during my practice. Other than that, I think I pretty much aced it. Feeling pretty excited :)
What an energy shift! I feel energetic, yet calm, composed, and my head feels light and clear! Looking forward to do so much more of this! Can't wait for tomorrow! I feel so much gratitude for encountering your beautiful videos! :) :) :)
