Kundalini yoga changed my life and so I've made it my entire mission to make this practice more accessible to people who want to deepen their practice. And the very first place to begin is with this 10-minute Kundalini kriya.
We start by tuning in, a fundamental part of your Kundalini practice. We do this with a mantra and a few deep breaths. Then we begin with Breath of Fire, hand mudras, and finally an awareness phase. This guided meditation for beginners brings together different Kundalini exercises so that you can get a powerful experience in just 10 minutes.
This online practice is good to clear the mind and energize your day as the breathing fills your body with fresh prana, or life force. Carve out 10 minutes each morning to try this practice and see how you feel throughout the day!

I've been doing this breath of fire for the past four days and it completely changed my energy. Suddenly I felt so uplifted. My head was free of thoughts and I only felt positive energy. I'll be doing this this every morning from now on and maybe during the day I had a stressfull day. Thank you.

@katiethomass8370 As much as I like this form of yoga, I also like other forms, like yin (no props) and hatha. I like the slower pace of it all. I don't like how kundalini feels like a cult with all the white clothes, and I can't sit cross-legged which you have to do quite a lot in kundalini yoga.
This was a perfect beginner introduction to Kundalini meditation. I would only agree that it would be great to keep the words on the screen for all 3 x. It would be easier to learn them. Thank you so much!
I was thinking the same thing. I also like to write them down for my journal.
I wrote the name on a piece of paper but you can also watch it on the screen and keep your eyes open. I don't see anything wrong with doing that until you can memorize the words.

@A & O hear me out, psychedelics and stuff like this and jesus all bring us to the same conclusion. We don’t really “know” anything, so humbleness and love are the way to go. When moses encounters the burning bush, it says it burns, but does not burn out, and all it says is “i am”. The realization of the “self” also called “the holy spirit” is what we really are, the impartial observer. Dmt is released at death by our brains. The bush moses encountered had dmt, hence time slowed down (the bush was burning but not burning out). Dmt and other psychedelics force you to “let go”. Now letting go can either be liberating, or painful depending on how attached you are to this world. Hence eternal torture/ heaven depending on how you live your life. There are many paths to “god”. It’s like people from different places visiting a monument, they’ll describe it in different languages but they all have the same essence of what they saw.

I've known about "tummy breathing" from classical dance training. I have to tell you that your description of proper breathing is by far the best I have ever seen or heard it described. Excellent video.

First time i did this i deff felt amazing after, the second and third day it didnt feel the same. I kinda feel an energy in my stomach but the feeling i had the first time isnt the same. I hope im not doing it wrong. Im gonna continue to do this everyday tho. I know my kundalini already activated on its own i can feel the energy in my chakras randomly. I hope my mind didnt put some blockage.

I do find myself thinking less in my head, my awakening was very traumatic and went into a psychosis at some point. Ive been searching for the answer to heal my mind and my deties told me it was time to do kundalini. Its something a part of me fears because of what i read. So im only meditating to slowly raise the energy. Wish me luck everyone

This was my first Kundalini meditation. I did it at night and slept really well; however, the following morning I felt really tired and sleepy. Is this normal?
That was really awesome! Definitely taught me that I need to be doing yoga. My knees don’t touch the ground when I’m Indian style 😢 all things in due time haha

Due to a torn meniscus in my left knee and the fact that I am 55 years old I can not bend my knees for this position. Can this be done in chair???

I know this sitting pose is used by all yoga instructors, my question, is this good for the knees. I find it hurts after half an hour should it, or am doing something wrong?
If you start feeling pain you can also tuck your toes underneath your glutes or can sit on a chair and then do this

Question? I have been doing this meditation for a while and at first things were really great, but i read around and was looking into the topic and i hear alot of people saying it is very dangerous to do exercises that awaken the kundalini without proper guidance. Just was wondering if anyone had any thought or experiences that follow what this is talking about
In my opinion, it is not dangerous.
All that matters is that you're actually ready for it. That you feel as if you truly need it.
To me, it's more of an insanely strong psychic experience and realization, rather than a physical one. So no, i don't believe that it can cause any serious harm to you, if you do it properly and at your own will.
Please be careful not to overwhelm yourself, though. This is very real. If you feel uneasy, if your head severely hurts, if you feel as if you need a break - please rest! And continue later

Doesn’t Kundalini cause uncontrollable shaking if done too much? Why is this and how is this a good thing? (Honestly I think it a type of possession that happens over time as people aline their bodied with the demonic forces, basically becoming an antenna of sorts as you position your body into poses that represent Hindi ditties) or is that crazy talk? Because lots of people believe similar things about kundalini. After all its also called “serpent energy” what good could come out of practicing these kinds of things? (Real talk no snarky, im asking)

@@BrettLarkinYoga I agree its very misunderstood, but I'd argue it's misunderstood by many of the people who practice it with out knowing the spiritual implications. Do you think it's safe for inexperienced people to practice these things with out a full understanding of the spiritual side? Because if i'm not mistaken, it's impossible to separate the spiritual side of yoga with the physical practice. I ask because I'm curious as to why so many christians say to stay far away from yoga.. (Union, joining, to be yoked with) So who or WHAT are you uniting your self with?

OM' and 'ONG' are two different words. 'ONG' is part of the Adi Mantra used to tune in for a kundalini class, as explained in the video. ONG is from Gurmukhi (you can research it on Google), which is most often used in Kundalini yoga. Thank you for watching!
