- In this video I will be removing the rear wiper off my Civic Type R using a wiper delete kit! For me this is purely cosmetic, but it does also remove some weight if you are looking to do that as well! I hope you enjoy the video and have a Happy Holidays!

Hello from Spain, I have that same plug in my 2018 civic prestige cvt, I have installed it for a year and I have not found another that is as elegant as this

the rear wiper delete makes the rear so much cleaner! ECS tuning has a billet aluminum plug that requires no glue and is water tight it doesn't sit flush with the glass though.
Yeah, that was the only thing I didn’t like about the other companies. I really like the flush mount. But it’s a good heads up for someone not wanting to use a sealer! 👍

Ummm not for me, this is the only mod i would not do lol. I love my wiper at the back, and its very useful in the rain and drizzle.
Yea i did a wiper delete previously on my GTI, looked great but constantly cleaning rear window even w rain-x and almost vertical glass

Hey! Just about to do this to my FK Civic. What happens if you try to add water with the wiper controls? Will water still come out, or does it not work anymore because of the motor you took out? I hope that makes sense lol
Hi 👋. I don’t recall disconnecting a washer fluid line, so I guess it would still put fluid out. I’ve never used the rear wiper so I don’t have a definitive answer. Hope that kind of helps. 😉
Is there a way to also remove the wiper motor cover (that plastic box) also?
Hi 👋. I’m honestly not sure. It’s been a while since I did this mod…I can’t remember exactly what was in the wiper motor area, as far as a cover was concerned.
Question: Is this reversible without any cosmetic damage from the delete? Cheers!
If you keep all your parts I would assume you could just try and pop the delete piece back out and then re install the motor and wiper arm etc. no damage is done to the car or parts from removing them. At least not in my case. Hope that helps.
Thank you. I am new to the track day game, and just got a new-to-me '21 CTR. For me, mods are prolly a year or two away. In what order would you do what mods to improve what is already the world's fastest front wheel drive production car?
Now if we can just find a way to get rid of the front wipers
