@@howa08 hello 👋. No extra noise that we have ever noticed and we long haul the truck from CA to AZ twice a month in summer. We also have a sunroof so don’t know if that would make ours a bit more noisy than a slick roof. We haven’t noticed any change. Hope that helps.

@@ducebigalow8834 you have to have the power and ground connected. You can decide if you also want it to be a turn signal but you must also tap that wire. Hope that makes sense.

@diznylnd hi thanks for replying. I was trying the turn signal first but did not connect the ground to anything. I'm guessing I need to connect the ground as well. I wanted to ensure it all worked prior to remove the rear garnish and fish the wires up.

Do you have to disconnect the battery.

Hi 👋. I don’t recall disconnecting a washer fluid line, so I guess it would still put fluid out. I’ve never used the rear wiper so I don’t have a definitive answer. Hope that kind of helps. 😉

I was looking at the bumper from inside to see if I can remove the panel tabs from inside. Actually for the Si model, we have mufflers sitting on both sides blocking some access. For your Type R, you have that shield that you removed first. Will figure something out 😅

If you keep all your parts I would assume you could just try and pop the delete piece back out and then re install the motor and wiper arm etc. no damage is done to the car or parts from removing them. At least not in my case. Hope that helps.

It sounds like your describing the screws possibly being stripped. You’d have to pull out the light and then see are they just stripped in the housing or the actual trunk lid. Hope that helps

@@diznylnd thank you for sucu prompt response. The lid it self has one screw that it is loose however the lid is firmly attached so I can't get the screws out neither the entire housing lid it self ☹️
