When I watched this episode and it went from her running to her spirit dancing on the water under the sky... broken. Also that flashback animation with the spin... so wonderfully done.

I read this and the music and animation really add to the gyt wrench. I'll say, though, in the manga, it is much clearer how the mom turned into a spirit. And seeing that is heartbreaking
funniest part, this is probably only top 3 mor hearthbreaking backstories in Dandadan, i dont think we will get to the others this season but thats what is in the future so enjoy the dick jokes and romance plots while you can

Yup. This (and a later conflict) was where I really started to respect her as a character
this at least for me is closer to an "ok i cant hate aira even if i wanted to" episode
The entire show is about balls. So, they know exactly how to put their foot through the screen to kick you in yours.

In the manga at the end Acro Silky meets up with her daughter in the after life. Very sad but she does have a happy ending.

In the manga makes it more clear, but she is alive dancing on top of a building and she jumps off killing her self
