At the time they were BFG Sport Comp-2's which were undersized at 255/40/17 on an 8" wide wheel. I have 18x9.5/ 18x10 RPF1's now with the same tires in a 255/40 & 275/35, and traction is slightly better.

Thanks, that's actually how the wheel looked when I got it. I used to detail cars so I've worked my magic here and there, but I mostly just got lucky with a clean interior. Not the same story under the hood though.
Hey man I've watched this video so many times. I found a z shop that sells them with rebuilt engines but not the turbos. I want a TT for a daily driver. How reliable are these cars? Also I read that if the TTs do go out, I could just replace the center rotating assembly for like $500 each. What do you think?

Thanks! I actually made it myself. I ordered a kit of assorted 3" mandrel bent tubing, two pass-through style (perforated core) 3" mufflers, and two three bolt flanges for the DP to TP connection. Reused the factory hangers near the dif and welded new round stock onto the mufflers to hang those. Basically a Z1 PG without an X or H and slightly quieter mufflers.
I deleted all the emissions related systems, the entire HICAS system, the entire air conditioning system, most of the sound deadening, spare tire, rear wiper, hatch weight, and removed most of the stereo. I swapped in lighter wheels, exhaust, clutch and flywheel, pulleys, aluminum intake and IC piping (which is much shorter than stock --replacing with carbon fiber soon), and a ton of other little things here and there. I will say that when I weighed the car it had less than a quarter tank, nothing inside, the tops were out, and I wasn't in the car.
***** No, but it does take practice. My advice would be to start in a car without a ton of power (Civic, Focus, Miata etc.) and you should get the hang of it. Fun fact, if you ever get a twin or triple disc clutch, be prepared to learn all over again!

m2350 I'm still not totally sure, but from what I've gathered, anywhere from 430-470 whp. I'm held back by stock intercooler piping, otherwise it'd be right at 500 whp. Check out my other videos, basically all of them have WOT pulls.

My Last car was a 1990 mustang and I'm honestly pretty tempted to try a v8 swap into a 300zx chassis because I love how they look but from what I hear the vg30 is a bitch to work on due to how compact it is.
I'm not totally sure, with what I've been seeing online it "should" be around 425-445 whp, but it's a guess really. Another car on here made 475 to the wheels with the same upgrades, fuel, and boost with only 2.5" intercooler piping in addition to what I have.
Thanks Mac, appreciate it. As for future mods, I have a few projects in the works, just need to graduate and pay down my student loans first! The car is balanced pretty well right now, but the suspension and power train could use some refinement. After that, E85 conversion, finish my splitter/under tray/diffusor, and a standalone so I can learn to tune it myself. I also have another engine I'm going to build over time that will be higher compression (maybe 10:1), with Borg Warner EFR's, and hopefully a sequential gearset!

Government desperate to get student loans cleared off books. Google it and maybe save a bundle plus time invested to pay off. Hope that helps buddy. However, a 15 minute video with zero dialog and about 45 seconds of title relevance can use some trimming. There's about 6 minutes worth of content on either side of 6:35 or 10:00 that will infuriate many impatient UA-camrs. In lieu of trimming, it is also possible to embed commentary and links in the video. For instance, at the start of the video you could link to 6:35. A lot of idiots on UA-cam do not read a video's detailed description, particularly since you have to click "Show More" to read anything relevant a lot of the time. This is why you are getting a lot of vitriolic comments :-\

I'm not totally sure, with what I've been seeing online it "should" be around 425-445 whp, but it's a guess really. Another car on here made 475 to the wheels with the same upgrades, fuel, and boost with only 2.5" intercooler piping in addition to what I have.

Thanks Mac, appreciate it. As for future mods, I have a few projects in the works, just need to graduate and pay down my student loans first! The car is balanced pretty well right now, but the suspension and power train could use some refinement. After that, E85 conversion, finish my splitter/under tray/diffusor, and a standalone so I can learn to tune it myself.
I also have another engine I'm going to build over time that will be higher compression (maybe 10:1), with Borg Warner EFR's, and hopefully a sequential gearset!

Say buddy nice vid. On your student loan issue my cousin had a $25K he contacted loan agent and negotiated his loan down to just $16K. Government desperate to get student loans cleared off books. Google it and maybe save a bundle plus time invested to pay off. Hope that helps buddy. Make a video of your Z going 0-60, slalom possibly and 1/4 mile, if you feel so inclined. Cheers!
John Dayberry Thanks for the suggestion, and I plan on doing those types of tests once my suspension is dialed in. I don't think my 0-60 is very good, honestly. 1st gear is basically just wheel spin, but I'll see what I can do once it warms up here in WI.

However, a 15 minute video with zero dialog and about 45 seconds of title relevance can use some trimming. There's about 6 minutes worth of content on either side of 6:35 or 10:00 that will infuriate many impatient UA-camrs.
In lieu of trimming, it is also possible to embed commentary and links in the video. For instance, at the start of the video you could link to 6:35. A lot of idiots on UA-cam do not read a video's detailed description, particularly since you have to click "Show More" to read anything relevant a lot of the time. This is why you are getting a lot of vitriolic comments :-\
