Your mission is to make an update to this every year! I love a good kit, whatever it's for, but the bag always turns out to be the biggest challenge! I've been doing mobile reporting kits for about 15 years and it's always fun to share them.
You Brits and your tea! LOL love it! Hey that’s a great all around brew kit to keep around for sure Kent! Even when you’re just out and about and want to stop for some coffee or tea!
Awesome. I keep a coffee kit in an ammo box in my bronco sport. My friends think I’m nuts. But I love being able to stop anywhere and hike or relax in nature and make my own coffee if the mood strikes. Nice kit.
That truly is , a Bush Brew kit with Style 😎👍🪔☕🍵 2:30...Suggestion : make some (preferred colored) DIY Paracord zipper pulls, for easier identification of most used zippers, on your excellent Kit bag.
Thanks for sharing that. Just love the bag with a table pretty neat idea. Roomy too! Don't be shy about sharing new ideas it is great to see what's new and different out there. Now time to make a visit to Amazon for my next bit of camping stuff. Take care from Canada eh!
Andy, I like this. Are we all "tackle tarts"? I've been using a small Peli case for the last 10+ years and the only thing that wasn't in it was the water. This stayed in the car and went literally everywhere. very handy when you work round the clock in the middle of nowhere and followed us to every beach visit and camp, (1000's). Had the Jetboil original till earlier this year when it started to fail. Bought a new one and now transferred all the "brew kit" into a chest / shoulder bag from Mountain Warehouse. The Peli case was always just a little too big, but very robust. My brew kit has similar contents as yours but is for 4 people. With regards to the metal straw put one back in there as that can be used as you fire straw / bellows.
I loved this bag and table after watching you and Simon use it. Scottish but live in the US and managed to find it here after your great review and will cut the mid section out also….thank you! 👍🏼⛺️🥾
So what you've assembled here is a chuck box. Especially if you want to include a frying pan, that means you'll also have to include a couple of cooking utensils as well. Or you can probably get away with using your eating utensils. Nice! Yours is perfect for your size, I have to make wine slightly bigger because I don't know if I'm going camping with my friends or my family.
So timely going into the cold months. I live on the U.S. east coast and this time of year I add hot cocoa and Lipton Cup-a-Soup packets to my car kit. My year-round car (SUV) kit includes a Firebox, kettle, titanium mugs and utensils. In a $19 (was $16 until recently) Bucket Boss (brand) jumper cable bag I have a Firebox skillet, cowboy plates (deep and shallow), etc, holds quite a lot.
Great clip and not a bad little set up. Maybe with your cutlery, chuck all that in one of those little bags and the other bag you could use for putting those packets creams, satchel coffees etc in it. Great stuff bud. Love your work from 🦘🇦🇺👍
Love your channel I scored the last Leeda table on amazon they never have them here in America took a chance and there was one left not no more mine now. Stay safe and we’ll see you on the next one
Personally I don’t think you can beat a Jetboil or equivalent as a portable kettle. The original where the gas cylinder fits inside. I fill the smallest gas cylinders from the large size with a special valve.
I feel like an amateur now, when I'm on a long trip I take my day hike bag which has a BCB Fire Dragon stove, a Crusader Mug and 58 pattern water bottle and sachets of coffee and creamer from ration packs in it. 😁
I have the same stove too, but with a little windshield. However, my go to stove is again, a favourite of carp fishers - the BulinT4. Around £30 now. The branded fishing version is about double...carp tax as already mentioned.
I have a brew kit. Though I use a twig/charcoal burner for mine. I love to sit out wherever and have a cuppa. I am horrible though, I do either coffee or tea in mine and half the time I am out on the patio with it instead of camping.
One other item from the fishing world, is a neoprene cover for your gas canister, for your winter brews. Found it to be very effective. Like the bag, but very expensive. However it is the Ultimate brew kit. 😃 If you have no friends and only want a cuppa, NGT do a bag for about £20 which is quite good. 👍👍
I have a brew kit in my car as well. I have the stove, kettle, skillet, table, and a pot to make ramen and fish lunch. Yup, like your dear friend Simon. I also indulged in a 12 volt pressurized espresso machine and proper demitasse cups. OMG it’s heavenly.
The bivvy table unzipping sold me!!! I ordered 2 bivvy table from UK. A couple years ago...I'm in USA FLORIDA. my husband threw them away when I was gone....said they were useless.....actually he is the useless bit of kit...awesome kit!! Watch that stove when you fold the legs...mine had "bitten" my clumsy fingers a few times...lol
Ridgemonkey kettle fits stuff in for a cuppa. A bag that turns into a table though, I want one, different matter though. The more you know the less you need to carry.
You encountered the same problem as I when unfolding the gas hose. Realised later that first it is better to unfold the legs outwards before extending them, then the hose will be released without damage to the stainless steel weaving on it.
Add the thin skillet. Then maybe a small tarp in case it's raining, 4 to 5 tent stakes, some line, maybe a small chair... Nice kettle, have seen on Amazon. UK has some really cool kettles I have seen on UA-cam.
Just bought one after watching your video, and cut out section as you mentioned. Perfect👍NGT missing a trip perhaps and another possible market. Thanks
Ngt make good stuff, I've got a few bits of theirs. A pvc bucket, a cool bag, a huge carryall, another large carryall, a smaller carryall and their Fortress XL bivvy which so far has endured 50mph gusts over the last few days and hasn't budged. I fitted a wood burner in the bivvy too so it's the ultimate hot tent. Fishing gear is more often than not made a lot better than camping gear. It's made to be used!
Your Brew Kit is brilliant. I recently put together my own brew kit for such travels. Everything you carry in yours I incorporated in my own plus a few small extras. For the bag I bought the KVD SIGNATURE SERIES TACKLE BAG purchased from TACKLE WAREHOUSE. It, too, has pouches (4 of them) plus the larger inside area. Weather resistant and has a hard bottom with small leg caps to keep it off the ground slightly. The top is hardwired, perfect for use with a cutting board or as a gentle small table. Having such an organized brew kit is splendid and really makes brew-ups on the go much easier than before. Because mine is a good bit larger, it also can serve as a snack or picnic tote. After seeing yours, I might make a second one ... just for brew-ups like you have yours set up! You have a brilliant one going for you there 👏 👍, small and functional indeed!
Nice one Andy. I have several bits of kit by NGT including two of the original bivvi tables with the non extending legs (like Simon's!). All their bags and pouches are excellent quality and pretty good value. I got my stuff at Go Outdoors....pity they closed my local branch down after only a handful of years! I have also made up a couple of kits for different applications including a truck kit. Many times used on long journeys or occasionally having found major delays on a motorway....get off at the services or next available exit and brew up on the tailgate! Nice kit you put together.
Nice Andy, I've been trying to work out my gear and bags for a day, weekend, week etc. A table is something I'll be after soon. Taking the minimal has never been my forte, I like to relax in style these days, but carrying it all is not fun. One must endure.
Was an interesting video, the screen I have as part of a twig stove bundle for my Titan Solo Stove set that came with a tripod and hanging pot... the bag table combination was something that might tempt me. I never got into the dedicated gas burners much, but I am not a serious hiker in anyone's imagination... but the idea of a brew kit for my vehicle is a GoSun Brew, a Goal Zero 1000x power station, and 400 watts I solar panels, I have also used the power station to recharge the truck battery when it wouldn't quite start. The power station stays in the truck anyway so just packing the other parts in some kind of organized way would be the part to think on. Instead of the Brew... a NuWave Flex induction cooker and compatible tea kettle and a pan or two would extent beyond just brewing tools... a bit of a rabbit hole on what to pack and how.
Great vid Andy. Great kit for keeping in the truck, fantastic find of the bag too! Have you considered a Ridgemonkey XL for the pan? Light, sturdy, very easy to clean & can split to 2 frying pans!
Nice video Andy, I really like the table set up on your new Brew Kit. Your video's give me the incentive to get outside with nature. Well done , when you going to review a portable a / c unit for a Tent !!! Dave B. Thailand.
You make a odd cuppa, you should fill the cup nine tenths with boiling water & brew for about 3 & a half minutes minimum, make a little powder skim milk & add when brewed, that's a champion cup of tea.
Feature your kit in future vids, I love it. I’m a systems guy. I mean it’s almost like the subject of your video should be I’m tracking to this remote spot so I can set up my brew kit and have a tea. love content keep it up
Hi Kent, about a year ago, you did review on Decathlon stove, are you still using it? What is it like after a year? Do you mind if to do a follow-up review of the stove? Or could you do a video on your camping channel using that stove? Thanks
Nice but that bag is big and expensive. I have a British army gas mask bag and carry everything bar the table in it, I've cups that fit top and bottom of 32oz nalgene, a jet boil instead of kettle. £15 on ebay.
It is cultural Where I live, all hardware stores have a coffee set with a stove top, gas canister, a finjan (coffee pot), containers for coffee, sugar, and tea And four glass cups, and teaspoons. Everyone carries this set in the trunk of their car.
Nice little kit there, I'm looking at tables next I think, beats using a chopping board on your lap. Need to see how much room is left in the pack after the new gear arrives first though
That would go well with the titanium fan powered wood stove you just reviewed. Might even leave room for a water filter to replenish the kettle throughout the day
The disposable plates that you showed are made from areca nut leaves. They can be used multiple times, if you only serve dry food in it. But if you have, let's say one of your favourite foods.... Chicken tikka masala or butter chicken, then you'll have to throw it in the bin. Since these are environmentally and ecologically safe they won't be around for decades. They decompose within weeks. ATB, The Solo Hiker....
Cool video! I'm in process of putting together a coffee kit as well. Looking for bag ideas so this was a timely video 👍 I want to be able to take it with me on rides in my side by side. Be able to pull off the trail and brew up some coffee and other hot drinks. Maybe even cook some quick meals. So far have the Stanley Boil & Brew, Trangia 25 with gas burner, Firemaple X2 and a bunch of other "kit". Testing here at home for the ideal setup. Thanks again for the video, that bag is sweet!
If looking at fishing gear, especially carp fishing gear then beware the Carp Tax! Anything related so much as a mm to Carp Fishing expect a mark up in price!
You got two birds with one stone for me here Andy. I have been checking out FireMaple gear on the NatureHike site in Canada...wanted to know if it was decent kit.
Your mission is to make an update to this every year! I love a good kit, whatever it's for, but the bag always turns out to be the biggest challenge! I've been doing mobile reporting kits for about 15 years and it's always fun to share them.
That’s awesome. I want one! It seems perfect to me.
The table in that bag is the star of the show , brilliant
Best regards Shaun
I love that ALL OF IT awesome bag and all!
Nice kit Andy I love having everything for a task put all together like that as well. Take care
You Brits and your tea! LOL love it! Hey that’s a great all around brew kit to keep around for sure Kent! Even when you’re just out and about and want to stop for some coffee or tea!

Love your channel I scored the last Leeda table on amazon they never have them here in America took a chance and there was one left not no more mine now. Stay safe and we’ll see you on the next one
That'll do nicely Andy you ci add those mini UHT milks you get at super may cafes..
Great Stuff my friend.Scott Somerset
Great idea! This shows how seriously Brits take their tea making! As a coffee lover I would add an AeroPress and possibly a small grinder.
Alternatively buy some empty tea BAGS and pack in some coffee pods.
Your way of thinking... I'd want the butler lol
Personally I don’t think you can beat a Jetboil or equivalent as a portable kettle. The original where the gas cylinder fits inside. I fill the smallest gas cylinders from the large size with a special valve.
You had a fine idea to make use of this new kit to 'freshen' the equipment channel. It is a perfect subject.
I feel like an amateur now, when I'm on a long trip I take my day hike bag which has a BCB Fire Dragon stove, a Crusader Mug and 58 pattern water bottle and sachets of coffee and creamer from ration packs in it. 😁
I have same stove it's my go to for power cuts in the house! Great kit! Get yourself a ridge monkey pan - you're a mobile chef!

Great brew kit idea. What a treat to carry in the car.
I have mini version of this - quantum (fishing) bag with stove, gas bottle, wind guard, tea bags etc in one side, milk and cup in the other 👍
Nice set up mate looks great I would add a lighter or 2 in case the ignition on your stove goes down
I have a brew kit. Though I use a twig/charcoal burner for mine. I love to sit out wherever and have a cuppa. I am horrible though, I do either coffee or tea in mine and half the time I am out on the patio with it instead of camping.
Nice setup Andy - maybe add a pot scourer and a small container of washing up liquid.
Brilliant idea, and I like that table as part of it very handy

Very nice ! I'm a fan of systems.
Hi Andy a great vid as always. A great idea. Especially now in the colder months.
Great addition to your kit, Andy. I bet some enterprising person will copy this idea and start flogging the kits!

Fantastic piece of kit Andy. Will be a life saver stored in your car during winter months. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome idea Andy to have with you all the time. I reckon you shall be using this regularly.
that is a great vehicle kit, handy for emergencies too
nice..been looking for a kitchen bag to get!
Great vid Andy. Great kit for keeping in the truck, fantastic find of the bag too! Have you considered a Ridgemonkey XL for the pan? Light, sturdy, very easy to clean & can split to 2 frying pans!
Want a ridgemonkey, but haven't found someone that sells it in USA
Just bought one of these bags - thank you for the inspiration!
What a blinding little set up you've put together there , nice one mate 👍
Nice video Andy, I really like the table set up on your new Brew Kit. Your video's give me the incentive to get outside with nature.

You make a odd cuppa, you should fill the cup nine tenths with boiling water & brew for about 3 & a half minutes minimum, make a little powder skim milk & add when brewed, that's a champion cup of tea.
Maybe glue some magnet blocks to the bottom of the windscreen to stick to the table.
About bloody time we got a new video on this channel. Thank You Andy 😎 PS Awesome brew kit
Fantastic video Andy and a great kit for camping 👏👍

That’s a very useful kit, you’ve inspired me to do one for my van. I have one of the fire maple kettles and I think it’s great.

Proper kit except the instant coffee! Great video
You will newer clean a metal straw perfectly there always will be something left from the last time you used them.
Nice setup. Ya I try to keep a small kit together, but I seem to take things out for a day hike lunch or ….. 😂
Yup. Now I need a coffee kit
Jet boil. Can’t beat it.
Love it! Also loving that you're representing the Swedish national team i football! They could need all the support right now. :)
It is cultural

Brilliant pice of kit there Andy 👌🏻
fab brew kit andy
Brilliant setup, thanks mate!
Thank you so much Andy for teaching me how to make a proper Cuppa!
Nice little kit there, I'm looking at tables next I think, beats using a chopping board on your lap. Need to see how much room is left in the pack after the new gear arrives first though
Great idea Andy…love the kit! 😊
Great kit. I’ve been looking for a camp table.
That would go well with the titanium fan powered wood stove you just reviewed. Might even leave room for a water filter to replenish the kettle throughout the day
Awesome setup 👍
Great share, thanks.
Great little kit, but missing one important thing - the biscuits!
Love the kit I would add a ridge monkey instead of a pan
Thanks, Andy! Quick question, does anyone know of an alternative bag that I could use, as this one would be a bit pricey to have shipped to the US?
The disposable plates that you showed are made from areca nut leaves. They can be used multiple times, if you only serve dry food in it. But if you have, let's say one of your favourite foods.... Chicken tikka masala or butter chicken, then you'll have to throw it in the bin.

the table is very similiar to the 1 that simon uses
