Tara "Some people are evil Cindy, I've seen it". I do like how Tara continues to carry the memory of the Governor's actions through her story
Tara is freaking awesome in this episode it's so funny towards everything she has a cool personality just like Abraham she's a good replacement or his attitude and the way he does everything cool
Steve’s “Ain’t that some shit?!” sums up TWD perfectly. 😄 Also Steve calling Cyndi “Cynthia” = Gregory calling Maggie “Margaret” 🤔😄
I’ve always loved Tara’s sarcasm and humor. She speaks my language 😆
she is the same in person Shell
She's awesome =)
Me 2! I loved her from the first episode she was in. I get a kick outta how she lies at the drop of a hat, and does such a bad job of it you know she's lying.
TinkerStinker life without sarcasm sucks
I really liked this episode. I found out about a year ago that alot of people considered this a "filler" episode. I don't think so one bit. So much info. We get to see another group/ community surviving and finding out they are also victims of Negan and his Saviors. And it's totally understandable why they kill people onsite. We also got to see how Tara and Heath got separated. But seriously, where's Heath? I really liked this group and I think they could come in handy to help rise against Negan. Oh man. The look on Tara's face thinking she'd soon be with Denise and then see that smile of hers slowly fade away, still brings tears to my eyes. And am I the only one that would like to see a great friendship blossom with Tara and that kid, Rachel? Love Tara. Totally dug this episode. PEACE!
I said this when it came out during my own youtube review of this episode. I got so much grief for it.
My problem with it is TWD needs to do the Game of Thrones structure. Instead of a whole episode focusing on a minor character they should split the scenes up. The Tara stuff should've been mixed in with the Kingdom, Sanctuary and Hilltop stuff over a four episodes. Episodes like these just derail the pacing, its like the Eleven episode in Season 2 in Stranger Things. No matter how good it is it still breaks all narrative momentum
Heath's actor left the show to film 'Straight outta compton' and just never showed back up.
I know the fandom is mostly negative towards this one, but I kinda liked it. We got some world building and more info on the sadism of Negan & the Saviors.
Yeah this episode not only introduces us to another community, but also catches us up to Tara, catches us up to Tara and most importantly shows us how much reach the Saviors have over the TWDU.
Tara: Hey Beatress, sorry about the hit.
Beatress: You got lucky.
Tara: yeah I did.
My favorite Tara line!
Very underrated episode keep up the great work guys ✌
In case you didn't know, Alanna Masterson was pregnant and that's why it's been a while since we last saw Tara on the show. A lot of people don't like this episode and unfortunately the actress got a lot of hate online about her appearance after this aired, as she had gained a bit of weight from the pregnancy. I personally really enjoyed this one though!
yes. I remember this and I like how she shamed the fans for being so rude. love her spunk.
I heard fans didn't like this episode cause it moved from all the other stuff.
While filming this episode it was the same week she was allowed to work after having the baby, she had to take the baby on set to nurse...so that was a lot of strenuous work to get back to right after she was healed...and her poor boobs having to run while they were full...that shit hurts if you are a breastfeeding mom.
Alana did an amazing job of her own stunt work just having given birth. I disagree with those who criticize her performance in this one. She drew me into the story with her, and portrayed Tara's unique personality extreamly well. I don't know what more anyone can expect from an actor. BRAVO ZULU ALANA!
@@gravitypronepart2201 her performance was good, i just didnt really like the episode.
Tara is in a real pickle now. Keep the group she found a secret and let the people of Alexandria continue to be subjugated, or reveal their location and bring them back into the fray?
I love Tara, and I loved this episode, she's been on the show since season 4 so I do like that she finally gained her own episode! Her smile fading at the end is so heartbreaking, she was super closed to both Glenn and Abraham and she really did love Denise. So sad.
I agree. Watching this episode again helped me see some things I missed the 1st time lol. But Yea that look of relief I to complete sadness broke my heart also. Tara has always been 1 of my favorite characters even after seeing that she was on the other side of the fence with the governors group. She has really come along way n have grown alot
Tara finally returns from a run (she left to have a baby). The episode where she flips Rick off at Alexandria she is fat a pregnant. I love Tara.
steph west Yh she left in episode 12 of season 6 cus she was extremely close to giving birth. I’m pretty sure she gave birth like 2 weeks after she finished filming. 😂👍🏻
@@oxleygames5571 I remember on Talking Dead, she spoke about how physically difficult this episode was on her. It's amazing what some of the actors are willing to do in their commitment to this show. Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but it reminds me of how the actress that plays Sasha (Sonequa Martin Green) was really sick with the flu during episode 5 and was throwing up in between takes of the scene where she, Maggie, and Jesus have to take care of the "surprise" that the Saviors leave them at Hilltop.
Dan Babai Yh that’s true. The Sasha actress felt ill and she powered through every scene and was sick in between every take.
I don't mind this episode as much as everyone else. I love Tara. The story is obviously relevant to the overall plot. Sure they could've broken it up but personally, I think Tara (and Alanna) deserved her own episode after being on the show, and away, for so long. Great reaction 😊
"what about the innocent people?" ?????
Why is Negan so powerful? Because he has numbers. In a nut shell. Without all those who pledge "I AM NEGAN", Negan, the man, could not enslave and terrorize other groups. There is no such thing as an "innocent" in Negans camp. Each one has made the choice to support that mentality! If I were in that world, no way in hell I would stay!
Yes, OCEANSIDE up and left! Which is an option, instead of staying under Negans rule, or fighting with them. However, look at the resources that Alexandria has. Electricity, and running water. WALLS! These things are not easy to come by. AND, you are not guaranteed that you would not run into another group, just like Negan! When do you stop running, and start fighting? You cannot run forever. Not if you actually want a life!
So, its very important to know WHEN TO RUN> AND WHEN TO FIGHT!
tama yeager gibson Tina was innocent.
@@bunsmasterbunny I am not going to go back and watch to see who you are talking about. NO ONE who is with NEGAN is INNOCENT! Period! NO ONE is forcing them to STAY WITH NEGAN! They can LEAVE! They CHOOSE TO STAY, then they are GUILTY! PERIOD! The ONLY REASON Negan had power, was because he has numbers. Without the NUMBERS< he HAS NO POWER! So each and every person that stays with him, that CHOSES to HELP HIM, ARE THE ENEMY! AND NOT INNOCENT! If they would all abandone Negan, HE WOULD BE DONE! SO THEY ARE THE ONES RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HE DOES!
Not sure what type of person gets over wanting vengeance for a person who they watched bashed their husband's head in repeatedly.
Dear Lacy and Steve ( Steve and Lacy ) I love you both of your reactions. I’ve watched you two watch TWD from the beginning. Keep up the good work I really enjoy you two.
I know a lot of people don’t like Tara and in turn don’t like this episode but Tara is honestly my favorite character in the show and I was so glad she got an episode to herself especially after the actress had just left to have a baby for a whole season. So glad you guys liked this episode!
this was a really cool episode :) Tara is a cool character and finding this new group is a pretty significant thing :) I think the episode was well done overall and was enjoyable :) for some reason people are very negative towards the episode, I guess they just ignore it and mock it cause they dont like Tara and maybe dont enjoy this kind of episode...yes its not focused on one of the mains like Rick, Daryl, Michonne, Carl, Maggie, people like that, but I dont think that automatically means the episode is bad :D
They wrote out Heath so that Corey Hawkins could do another show. I think any kid that is 8 or older when the apocalypse started had to grow up fast. Carl was barely a teen and had to put down his godfather-figure (Walker!Shane) and shoot his mother after she died horribly so she didn't turn.
Maggie learned reason, accountability, survival mentality, and compromise overtime through Rick, Glenn, and Hershel. In a short time she perfected leadership skills through Deanna. She has always been empathetic to a person's plight, and shown compassion towards others and the power of forgiveness. She grew up with spiritual beliefs and understands the meaning of family values.
Tara is one of my favorites and I'm glad Maggie embraced her. Glenn and Maggie both passed their qualities onto her.
Our group has been on the road for a long time before Alexandria. And leaving Alexandria, even in threat by Negan and the saviours, Alexandria has solarpowerd electricity and his own waterfiltersystem. Thats something thats rare in this time and wouldnt let that go that easy.
I think Heath is an underrate character. Miss him! Love Tara and miss her too ❤
He said lacey and steve!!! 😲
SEE!!! Subconsciously he knows what is right LOL ~ Lacey
I love this episode too. Love tara! Need more tara in this world. And glenn
Tara is a good character.
I actually like this episode, I love Beatrice, Cyndie and Tara.
can’t wait for more.
Basically you've got
Rick / at Alexandria
Maggie / at Hilltop
Carol / at the Kingdom
Tara / with Oceanside
Daryl / at the Sanctuary (Saviour's camp) as prisoner.
Comic Comparisons : This episode is completely unique to the show Tara and every other character who’s introduced this episode doesn’t exist in the comics However Oceanside is in the comics but it’s never shown it’s only talked about and that doesn’t happen until after the Negan arc (Season 9 in the show) Oceanside is a place they trade with but they reach it by boat.
lol looks like steve finally conceded it’s official Lacey and Steve !!!!
I’m glad you were able to get enjoyment out of this episode and take in a lot of the information we were given because as you pointed out in your discussion afterwards we were given quite a bit most people in the fandom referred to this community as Oceanside and believe it or not also among most of the fandom this is considered one of the lowest rated episodes of the entire series 🤯.
We also watched the show week to week so going from the Negan visiting ASZ to Simon going to hilltop to this some people were NOT happy lol. I think it’s important though nonetheless!
“Negan is going to build the best wall in the Apocalypse and Alexandria, Hilltop and The Kingdom are going to pay for it.”
I did not collude with Terminus, I have my own steaks.
Oh my gosh I was hollerin 😂
No one cares about your political views
SaltyShapeerVessel 2.0 i am not even american it was just a joke.
@@ItsAlwaysSunnyInPennsylvania and great one "Trump steaks" is a thing too, lolz
This was a good ep., some fans didn't like it, but we needed a break from the saviors putting the squeeze on everybody, and hey, we found another community!
This ep gets a lot of hate but I always really liked it. We meet another community, learn the saviours took out their men etc
Hey Tara! It’s been awhile! Great reaction guys!
This is one of my favorite episodes too. Oceanside always has a place in my heart.💕❤️ those girls.
“Snitches get stitches, Ite!” Made my whole morning 😂
As people have mentioned it, some people took this episode as a filler and hated it. But I'm really a fan of good world building so I love this episode, seeing other groups, their history and all and how it will connect to the main group later in the future. also Tara is a great character overall, she even rock her acting on the past season while pregnant like when she risked her life saving one of the alexandrian and Rick got mad about it and it was interesting how they(crew and director) always try to cover her belly to make it not noticeable. Like when she sat on a chair, instead of the normal way, she sat backwards to cover her belly, etc.
I found Steve's doppelganger. Steve Harwell from smash mouth. Especially in the song called Allstars 😂
Ok so I was spoiled that this episode was really bad when I was watching this season, however I ended up not having any problems with this episode, and it isn't as bad as some episodes before it for me, I can name a few. I guess it has to do with characters you like and don't like, and for many Tara isn't really hated but she isn't near the top of anyone's list.
Thank you for pointing out that this is a really cool ep! I love Tara, so I always enjoy this one.
Gregory voice: Pete and Tracey, Let's judo it ! 😂
This isn't the most memorable episode, but it has its importance. Great reaction!
In music PPP means very very quite. I always thought maybe this was gonna be an early tease for the Whisperers and get back to it later. Idk if that was the plan and scheduling got in the way, or if it was abandoned, or if I over thought it. But that was my thought process back then
A lot of people hate the episode, and actually, rewatching this with you I enjoyed it a lot more. I think I appreciate it a lot more because I know how it all plays out now. Steve sure found it funny when the women asked if Tara liked fish, lol.
I'm pretty sure that the fish is smoked/dried which makes it spoil proof and quite rank lol. Although generations of people who lived by the sea survived ( and still survive) by having that as a staple in their diet :)
Glad u enjoyed the episode, a lot of people don’t like episodes on twd about one character/event - I kinda agree but sometimes it’s alright
Tara deserves her episode. She been here since early S4. She deserves this.
Tara is one of my faves. Really glad she got her own episode.
A lot of people hated on this episode sooo hard ,but I was like Steve I truly enjoyed this episode!
Can't wait to seen you guys react to the next few episodes lol
Loved this episode and Tara. She was pregnant doing her own stunts. Amazing. Sasha was pregnant during some of her heavy scenes to.
I’m sad that she wasn’t there to see Glenn and Abraham go. She was friends with both of them and we really don’t get to see her reaction to them being gone :(
The actress that plays Tara just had a baby when she had to jump of this bridge.
Edit: before she had to jump of the bridge. That was her first day back after the birth. Sorry if it was unclear.
I'm ride or die with the walking dead, but I had NO idea this episode was so polarising. All I know is that I enjoy every scene that Tara is in because I personally need a break sometimes from the daily struggle just to stay alive. Also, I love sarcasm. Snark is my favorite form of comedy. And Tara's unbreakable positivity is very appealing.
~I bet if they had told Oceansides story by SHOWING the fans the horror they went through with their first meeting of the Saviors, this would be everybody's favorite episode. Think about it; Head bashing the whole time! Then maybe just showing a little bit of Tara's meeting them and some reason why she would keep them a secret from her group.
Yeah! All the blood thirst and limited dialogue that would be tits!
(Since no one here knows me) that was sarcasm.
I’m glad you enjoyed this episode. Cus I previously said that most the fan base disliked this episode and it’s intact the lowest rated of the entire series. I Love Tara, she’s funny and she definitely deserves more screen time. Very Underrated Episode.
Itachi Uchiha Tara is a great character and like I said the majority of people didn’t like the episode. Your obviously a part of that majority. 👍🏻
Itachi Uchiha mate. Im basing it on personal opinion. I think she’s a great character. A ‘Great’ Character or a favourite character is subjective. I like Tara shes one of my favorites.
I enjoy this episode much more when reactors react to it than when I saw it "live".
I would recommend watching the walking dead webisodes they have new characters and nice little stories and they tie in nicely to the series 👍
"Lacey and Steve" bobbleheads....he finally said it the wrong way😂
It's Steve and Lacey. He just forgot.😂
A hypothetical question: Would Maggie kneel for Negan? What if Negan wanted Maggie to be one of his "wives"?
Maggie for herself would NEVER bow down to Negan. But for the life of her child, hell yes she would.
22:46 or maybe she just took the first chance she got to run away
great episode .. finally get to see what happens to Tara and Heath. the ppp?? I wonder what that means???
I’m glad that Tara got her own episode because she’s been absent for 10 episodes. This was actually because the actress was somewhere around 8 and a half months pregnant during the episode she left and was able to spend time with her child before returning to work just under a year later.
absent for 9 episodes. she comes back on the 10th one
Eilene Grimes oh right Yh. My bad.
My favorite part was your Trump impressions🤣 .... That being said, I haven't seen the reaction portion yet 😂😉
I actually really enjoyed this episode yet it seems like so many hated on it especially when it originally aired.
Fucking love Steve take on the episode.
+Duo Reacts IM GLAD YOU ENJOYED THIS TARA CENTRIC EPISODE TOO...I LOVED IT TOO BECAUSE IT MADE ME TRULY LOVE TARA! People hated it at the time for some reason? I don’t get it but they were a lot of people upset about feminism and lesbians? PEOPLE ARE SO LAME SOMETIMES 😒 LOL
This episode is way better watching at your own pace. Week to week was a little much, especially with all the commercials. Just didn't feel substantial enough to be a standalone even though I love Tara. I always love the relatable, fun characters. Glad y'all liked it. Curious to see how you guys will handle the show's biggest slump. Hopefully we all hyped up how bad it will be, that you'll end up enjoying it.
tara said she swore she would not tell on them. but... rick is going to need something interesting(Negan's words).
The reason Tara was away for soo long on the show is because the actress (Alanna Masterson) was pregnant in real life.
This is most ppls least favorite episode, but I like it also. Cool to meet a new group and get some insight into what the saviors have done and can still do. Makes u wonder how many ppl are out there and working for Negan? Also, Tara was great and nice for her to get an episode around her. I Love her character! I'm new to ur channel but got all caught up on ur TWD reactions, love that u didn't think u would like the show cause I was the same way. I gave it a shot when it premiered way back when and got hooked from the pilot. ❤ you both, thanks
Lacey wins the Trump imitation contest hands down
The amount of people that shit on this episode is absurd. Is it the best? Well, no. But is it worst ever in the history of television? (the excess hyperbole is on me) Not at all. Tara actually gets some major screen time. She's a character that has almost completely faded into the background. Tara needs growth. This episode is a good building block. I hope they give Tara more to do in the future. I do have to give it up for the actress for doing many of her own stunts in the Georgia heat this episode, so soon after her real life pregnancy.
So we have yet another group, harmed by the Saviors. This one, loaded with guns. I wonder how that will play out...
I also liked Cindy, as well as "grandma". That smiling shot of Tara walking to the gate with the silly glasses, is one I'll treasure. For fun time is over for her. She has joined the shitstorm that is life under Negan. I think she was still in shock when Rosita confronted her. Sure there's the promise to keep that community secret, and there is the reality of the world you are now in.
I'm so glad to hear all the positive comments both from you two, and from many of the posters here. It's a welcome change. Thanks for the great reaction. I look forward for future ones. Until then, keep on keeping on.
I think Simon is definitely a better manipulator than Negan. I know people say Negan is charismatic but tbh, I don't really see that. I would argue Simon acts more so even though it of course is ultimately an act.
A lot of people did hate this episode, yeah. I don't think the episode by itself was bad - I think people would've taken to it better if it didn't feature only a single relatively main character (main characters being like Rick, Daryl, Michonne, etc.). I can see why people wouldn't be too fond of an episode only featuring one character that has any relevance to the main group. It's part of why people had issues with this season, like as you guys noticed, a lot of the episodes tend to focus heavily on only a select amount of characters/a single location at a time. I don't actually mind this episode, but I can feel why people would want more characters featured in it. It took me a little bit to warm up to it, but that's also because my biases are pretty strong and when my favorites aren't featured enough or at all, I tend to lose focus pretty easy (and with Glenn out of the picture that's already a favorite in this season who I can't see anymore).
Completely off topic, but maybe you should check out American Horror Story.. Would love to see your reactions to that
No Exceptions
That is what he man said. And he had to "let them know who they were dealing with".
Love Sydney & she should played Moana .
Really enjoy your reactions....great job

Best Show ever, I Swear
While there's a few good parts I really dislike this episode about as equally as "Slabtown" from season 5.
my best impression of a TDS sufferer , DUH :-) look at Iowa lol
Duo Reacts
Shows these guys are true walking dead fans.
This is the worst rated episode so far (except for s6/16 whats that about!!!)and they loved it.
We true fans are loving your journey.
I honestly don't understand the hate for this episode unless you don't like Tara as a character. Its not really as bad as some episodes in seasons 3 or 4.
You know when any bad man came to the show I wanted them to pay for what they did but when Negan came, I had a feeling of both hate and like and I didn't want him to die
Everyone watching this is obviously a big fan of TWD so our opinions can be a bit biased. But I firmly believe that this is one of the worst episodes in the series. Focusing on solely Tara and Heath after such a tense episode with Carl and Jesus ending in Negans truck... is a disappointment to say the least.
Still no notification!!!! Ugh!!! Came to y'alls page to see if twd was downloaded!!!!Boo 👎!
Aw!!
Guess it didn't work... Was worth a try tho! 💯
@@hildadrayblackmon9194 it works for me but after a few minutes when it starts. like on another reactors, i get the notification after 30 minutes into the show

I remember this episode as when I forgot about Tara 🤧
I wasnt going to watch this reaction cuz im not a fan of this episode BUT im a fan of the Duo...so i gave in 😉. Lol
oh wow, I hated this episode lol. Bottle episodes are the worse to me especially when it's characters like Dwight and Tara, but I did like Morgan's. I remember the fandom being pretty upset about them and the showrunner had to promise to keep it to a minimum. It's like come on... how about giving those episodes to favorites like Glenn (when he was alive) & Michonne then there will be no complaints. This was all torture to us though because we had to wait week to week maybe even a hiatus in between to get to the good stuff. We were worried about Carl at this point.
This episode is known as the worst episode of the entire show.
Eeyor Matter of opinion
By whom?
Yeap. The worst.
Eeyor Steve loved it as do a lot of ppl; therefore it’s a matter of your opinion 😐
My least favorite episode of the entire show honestly not to mention the timing of this episode after the ending of the last one.
Some call this the series worst episode 🤷🏻♂️
Terrible episode.
Itachi Uchiha Well they liked it and some ppl do.... matter of opinion
