That scene with Rick talking to those people in the church into killing a whole group of people really reminded me of the Governor talking to the people in his camp to invade the prison.
Fun fact: at 9:11 we can see Johnny Depp's face (head on the right). The makeup artist confirmed that the actor's face was used to model one of the heads.
Poor Carol, she just wants to bake cookies and snuggle her new boo Tobin, but stupid walkers and stupid Saviors keep messing that up. Yep, this one's still hard to watch even though I'd already seen it, very tense and definitely a turning point. And poor Glenn, he'd gone this whole time without killing another living person, then not only do we see the anguish when he does it deliberately, but also when he's caught up in the moment and just shoots as a reaction. I totally agree that Rick wasn't taking that attack as seriously as he should have, he didn't seem to have considered that this could be something that had been established for a while and not just another band of miscreants. And I've been wanting to say, Dawn, I hope when you reach #16, that you caution them to be prepared for a couple episodes that are harder to watch.
Rick’s you’ll have to accept it line is the same thing Carol said to him at the prison for burning the two infected members Karen and David that were isolated.
It’s still wild to me, even after the series ended, that our group really went and killed a ton of people in their sleep. They were the boogeymen basically. Insane. Seeing those gross photos on the wall made is more morally gray tho. I really feel for Glenn catching his first two bodies though 😢
I have always liked Glen. But he became a top 5 character for me in this one. A) His rationalization that murder MUST be worse than seeing a murder or gruesome death. It gave me foreshadowing chills. B) He literally SAVED Heath from that mental anguish. He knew he was already in for it anyway, so he stopped Heath. What a FANTASTIC TEAMMATE he is! It only SLIGHTLY takes away from that prestige when Heath has to kill like 4 guys 3 minutes later.😂 Also, I think Carol is really pissed that NOBODY is taking it seriously that Maggie is pregnant. Not even Maggie. And it IS pretty insensitive ( Not that any of them are intentionally being insensitive they just didn't think of this) For them to be so unprotective of Maggie's child when literally every child that Carol has gotten close to has died.
It's funny .. looking back on it I always label this episode as the one where the landmine goes click. Up until this point it was - somewhat - fun and games. Not anymore.
Comic Comparisons : This attack on the outpost doesn’t happen in the comics At this point in the comics Negan is just a whisper in the woods They did talk to Gregory (the attack on Gregory and the subsequent conversation is straight from the comics line for line) but this attack doesn’t happen.
all i can say without spoiling anything but the next 4 episodes left in season 6 really get more intense interesting and edge of your seat wanting a lot more!!! :) nuff said

Which is why Tara looked so uncomfortable.
