My framerate in the Dreamliner last night was much improved over the mess it was last time I tried it a couple of weeks ago. Had a very nice flight to Dubai. Which was odd because framerates in other aircraft were fine even before that. There might have been some improvement to the 787. I'm a firm believer in shutting my computers down when I won't be using them for a few hours. That said, default Windows 11 settings will not shut down when you run a shutdown and rather go into hibernate. Thus for a lot of people, a restart is a better system refresh than shutting down and turning back on.
In Task Manager, in the Processes tab, if you right click on the column headers (CPU, Memory, etc.), it brings up a context menu where you can add additional columns, one of those are GPU, so you can see GPU usage per process like you can for CPU, very useful.
Thank you fr your work! What about the FPS settings within Dynamic Settings? Never understood the difference between this FPS setting and the FPS limit in connection with the monitor refresh rate.
Hi there, thanks so much for your videos, been super helpful. Wondering if you can offer some advice. After landing in the Cessna, often it’s on quite tight runways, I find it is impossible to turn the plane on a tight circle and then taxi to the hold short, often it involves me leaving the runway and then I get an aviator error. Any tips to tighten the circle or ways to avoid this would be amazing!
ALT and P together toggles pushback (no ability to turn during manoeuvre), but it will allow you do do a 6 point turn on a narrow runway/taxiway). It's on one of my hacks and tips vida. Either 'Top 20' or '10 more'. Happy simming.
What a faff. Why don’t the just release a system that just gets the stuff you need. It’s not a restaurant menu. Just make it work…… for every type of system. It can’t be that hard. The software searches your setup identifies the graphics card and the cpu etc. and then installs what needed. All these stupid tweaks make the game a trudge to operate. It’s ok having in game settings but stuff that is required by EVERYONE should just be part of the game.
Thanks Stephen - old for some, new for others. Wondering if you knew about Process Lasso, DDU, how to get MSI Riva Statistics moving (and especially how to show the benchmarks in full, rather than jus the FPS. Would you like to add something new? Comments such as Skaubers end up in the clarifications and corrections section of the description.

An issue I noticed lately is that the Graphics settings aren't saving from day to day. I seem to have to reset the Graphics each day I start the sim.

Thanks - I have listed that in the clarifications/corrections area of the description.

Would a RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB be good enough to run MSFS 2024?
