This is nothing new at all - this snake oil has been offered around the internet for years now. You might get a little bit of increased performance for a few days or weeks, but eventually everything just levels back out again. The only real solution is for MSAsobo to improve their code.

The avionics issue/fix was specific to iniBuilds Airbuses, so you wouldn’t have noticed it if you primarily fly aircraft with Garmin avionics, etc.

An issue I noticed lately is that the Graphics settings aren't saving from day to day. I seem to have to reset the Graphics each day I start the sim.

Intel do an amazing GPU program which works on ALL graphics cards it's called Intel PresentMon has very little impact on performance also another important update is your chip driver updates this will also have a big impact on FPS, also a program like autofps also lossless scaling cost about £5 i think on steam

What a faff. Why don’t the just release a system that just gets the stuff you need. It’s not a restaurant menu. Just make it work…… for every type of system. It can’t be that hard. The software searches your setup identifies the graphics card and the cpu etc. and then installs what needed. All these stupid tweaks make the game a trudge to operate. It’s ok having in game settings but stuff that is required by EVERYONE should just be part of the game.

In the 172, your right mfd can be set to show relative altitude, which is useful for navigating rising terrain. Click Map Opt, then TER to cycle between Topo, Rel and Off. You are looking for the Rel setting.

My framerate in the Dreamliner last night was much improved over the mess it was last time I tried it a couple of weeks ago. Had a very nice flight to Dubai. Which was odd because framerates in other aircraft were fine even before that. There might have been some improvement to the 787. I'm a firm believer in shutting my computers down when I won't be using them for a few hours. That said, default Windows 11 settings will not shut down when you run a shutdown and rather go into hibernate. Thus for a lot of people, a restart is a better system refresh than shutting down and turning back on.

In Task Manager, in the Processes tab, if you right click on the column headers (CPU, Memory, etc.), it brings up a context menu where you can add additional columns, one of those are GPU, so you can see GPU usage per process like you can for CPU, very useful.

VIP charter missions pay nearly double usual cargo rates for similar distances. Set up my second company with a Vision jet and haven’t flown a cargo mission since. Easy to find 50-75,000 credit missions which turn into 150-200,000 credit payouts with bonuses.

Hi there, thanks so much for your videos, been super helpful. Wondering if you can offer some advice. After landing in the Cessna, often it’s on quite tight runways, I find it is impossible to turn the plane on a tight circle and then taxi to the hold short, often it involves me leaving the runway and then I get an aviator error. Any tips to tighten the circle or ways to avoid this would be amazing!

The UI is absolutely broken! I’m totally lost and unable to find similar options and settings that was on 2020 simulator. Such hype since the last few months for a piece of 💩 as of today!

B47 request lot of time to flight but sweet heli :) you just have to check : engine temp, speed (to avoid the left barrel roll, kill you under 2500ft), taxiing is bit hard, and know the rules for turn left or right (depending your speed). I'm using it in mountains flights (Bastia - Ajaccio in Corsica or in Alps). Lot of challenges

Asobo please give us opportunity to save and load flights that works and a graphic setting where we can save custom setting with names so we dont need to adjust on the sliders to fine tune all the time

I did my first flight in vr, hit the record, and landed, but the menu on the top, wouldn't show up, and so I had to quit, the replay won't auto save.

they need to fix the g1000 obs and changing course so we can do ifr holdings. it only works on basic instruments such as gns 530. doesnt work on g1000. it also works on msfgs 2020

sight seeing missions ARE BORING because the passengers say THE SAME STUPID THINGS OVER AND OVER. I can't believe they say "LOOK AT HOW BEAUITIFUL THE SKY IS FROM UP HERE". REALLY? it's the same sky you see from 3000 feet down. It's very disappointing.

I hope they fix the controller portion, I stopped trying to advance in career mode because each flight I make the controller binds change. I do a career run only to find I have no flaps or brakes on landing. Amoung other things.

Good tips. Only thing I've noticed is if you Abort a mission, the mission disappears and you can't try it again. Can be frustrating for rare missions like VIP. Using Escape then Alt+F4 to kill the game preserves the mission on the map when you reload.

for me i still get no VIP charter missions with my CJ4 in career...

If you hop on to MSFS forums (Official) there were ONLY two fixes, the avionics blank display bug THEY introduced with previous "fix" and server side fix to fix the missions availability in carrer mode that came to life on Jan 1 2025 00:00.

How do i enable the navigraph and weather tabs on toolbar. I do have navigraph subscription but cant seam to get the option for icons on toolbar.

It's not the Avionics bugs fixed - the avionics was never ready for the Release date and it's still a work-in-progress. Maybe it'll be finished & bugs fixed mid 2025.

I wish they would remove the sim rate option altogether. Everyone is cheating and its stupid. This is a simulator, not a game. If you don't like flying, take your behind back to Fortnite or COD with the rest of the 0 attention span crowd.

Career mode desperately needs a mission builder / editor , why was this NOT included ?Nothing about it makes any sense , has zero sustainability , the canned , scripted objectives are beyond annoying , a huge missed opportunity that could have been a sim within a sim , but instead we get a mixed bag of arcade and game that was rushed out the door to keep the shareholders happy ...

While career mode was frustrating to me at first , I've taken note from several UA-camrs and built up my company, yes farmed money but now I'm at 30 aircraft over all but aerial construction specialization. My passive income alone on 3 to 4 hours flying daily is over 1 million and I can go and fly any missions without the worry of credits. Only thing I find odd is the level system, I'm @ lvl 173 right now but what's the point? Lol

career has become quite ‘meh’ for me. using free flight only because the simrate UI is garbage , Flight planing sucks, avionics are not working, atc communications are horrible…Bugs left and right and the interesting missing are 6h30 at least which doesnt help if simrate bugs and real time flying 6h30 makes no sense as theres nothing to do so i can just minimize rhe window and play something else but then why even play MSFS at all? hence free foight only , no reason to spend time in career mode…

Useful tip...uninstall fs2024, pitch it straight in the trash bin and never look back. If you paid money for this pile of rotten garbage, demand a refund of every penny. What they did to msfs is awful and inexcusable.

Asobo! Fix the biggest problems with 2024 controller settings. It sucks! 1) Occasionally complete loss of custom control settings. Restoring them requires us to log in/out of our Xbox account on PC. 2) Some controllers being recognized, but controller input being ignored. This is parricularly a problem for rudder pedals. 3) ALL aircraft where specific axis positions have distinct functions, must allow us to interactively map those functions to controller axis positions! PLEASE! For example with the Cessna 208 Caravan propeller pitch: - Feather stop - Reverse pitch range (begin/end) - Ground idle stop - Flight idle stop - Pitch axis range (begin/end) Just represent those detent stops and ranges directly on the page used to calibrate an axis, and let us snap those stops to wherever I have the controlker axis currently set!

They didn't fix the sim rate glitch!! This glitch is so bad if you increase the sim rate during the career mode 5he plane goes off course and jumps up and down and will stall

Just tried to do two career mode missions, after the update, I failed both miserably, due to my cesna 172 Skyhawk topples over, or when landing, the airplane becomes unstable, to the point that the airplane crashes.
