14:03 ... what about the raft game (LOG ON A RAFT) you did play a while back, this is the reverse, instead of pushing to move what you stand on, you move ahead with it.
I don't think he understands what a boss pattern is. Like he's trying to do things in the middle of a boss targeting him over and over instead of focusing on not dieing
I mean, tbf, of course he doesn't understand what a boss pattern is, he rarely ever plays games that have bosses in them, and when they do have bosses, the windows of opportunity are very clear.
Even then, this is a very poorly thought out boss fight. Any boss fight that becomes extremely difficult or impossible if the player runs out of a finite resource (other than ones they chose and prepared themselves) should probably be looked at and redesigned.
@@piisfun anyone can run out of resources if they utilize them poorly. Anyone can run out of resources if they use them period. You have to keep in mind that there is a save and continue button in games. Resources aren't as valuable as they sound in such games.
@@piisfun Counterargument : it only looks impossible and resource draining because an efficient method of attacking the boss has not yet been processed. Part of the fight is figuring out when to stand on the dancing pad and if you try to brute force it instead you get destroyed in record time. For example, the smashing attack is faster than the dance so you have to get out of the way. However, you can start dancing as the last hit happen because then the boss switch to a new pattern. Also notice how the dance pad only gradually empties as you leave them. This encourage a dance-dodge-dance pattern which can be used against fast aimed attack like the shot. Sure, you can use shields and healing to ease up the process and you can bet speedrunners will but do you want to use those so early in the game when there are more bosses incoming?
I'm pretty sure that the color mixing puzzle was using CYM(cyan, yellow, magenta) subtractive color space. So combining cyan and yellow to make green, and combining cyan and magenta to get blue. Just like printers(although printers also use black to help produce darker colors).
Just the short trailer at the beginning has me hooked and hoping for a series. But also makes me want to not watch and play it myself. I'll just watch it and probably play it myself at some point later.
I'll be honest, this is a lovely game and I've seen a few people play the start. I'd LOVE to watch a playthrough. However just showing snippets I think really doesn't do the game justice
@11:34 I think the solution for the puzzle (and a reference in many other places) is the famous Japanese/Buddhist proverb: See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. It is typically represented by three monkeys. One covers his eyes (see), one covers its ears (hear) and one covers its mouth (speak).
i was VERY shocked to see this video in my fyp because this game was actually made by a korean artist, moonlab studios, who ive been following on instagram ever since before they started developing the game! so to see a collision of my two worlds was pretty crazy XD especially because I didnt think this game would be your typical style. so once i saw the sponsored message i was like yeah that checks out
Ogu vagely reminds me of a Fishbun from Ittle Dew, and that thought makes me want to see what Tyler thinks of Ittle Dew 1&2. ...Especially the top secret fights.
I'll be really honest, the aesthetic is beautifull, the gameplay is very smooth, the content of the game is insanely massive, but the difficulty level of the puzzle is meh. Most of the time i watch tyler video i like to pause or just rewind the video to understand how the puzzle works, but this, its just too easy for me
That Water temple puzzle with the like "divine beast of 'insert direction'" I can totally see as intending to be later game puzzle (since we met only the water beast right before it) but the devs putting the statues around means it can be solved.. well.. now, earlier than you'd expect.. imagine Tyler's frustration if it *was* a later game puzzle and you had to actually know what each beast was but he brute forced it only to learn later.. Okay that evil god... is.. very much not fitting the cute aesthetic of the rest of the game.. and also.. slightly make me thinks despite being open world still has a very much intended path that will make that fight less difficult by maybe virtue or some other upgrade (maybe health or a defense since.. looked like it was taking 2 hp at times)
@@the_nick_knack Not really been enjoying the sponsored games themselves, I mean if the Poly Bridge people make #4 or The Witness guy comes out with a sequel by all means I'd love that. But the current types of games that are sponsoring tyler are just not what I'm interested in. Usually doesn't lead to multiple episodes on a game either, just a single video usually.

Very glad I can play it on my Mac
You should check out worldless, I think you'll like it a lot

Found it,
A Monster's Expedition
I think the door puzzle with the 3 monkeys was 2 2 1 because of 2 ears, 2 eyes, 1 mouth
I thought that the 3rd monkey is already eating a banana and thats why he gets one less
@@pankrzysztof4949 yea same thought over here, I thought he already had one so he'd be too full for 2 more
Sees no evil, hears no evil, speaks no evil
The way my brain decided to justify it was "The one who can't speak is unable to complain about the fact he has less bananas"
“A platypus? *sound effect* OGU THE PLATYPUS?!”
Whrrrr
A platypus plumber? OGU the platypus plumber? OGU THE PLATYPUS?!
Honestly, I wanna see a full playthrough. Even the stuff that isn't puzzle based.
I don't think he understands what a boss pattern is. Like he's trying to do things in the middle of a boss targeting him over and over instead of focusing on not dieing
Bro does not have the fighting gamer gene like I do 😼

That bug just sitting at the ledge gave me nailsmith flashbacks for a second.
A fellow hollow knight enjoyer?
Ah... Ranjo stenja..
13:30 "I _can_ cross the beams."
Me who is currently playing The Talos Principle: "What sorcery is this?"
The monkey combination stayed the same as it was referencing the old proverb. - Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil.
Picked up this game on a whim when it released. Did not regret, it's charming (though not exactly a difficult puzzle game; it's mostly exploration).
You didn't farm 3h to have all the legendary fishes, all the foods, all the museum... Im a sad man :p
12:15 me when I mischievously replace the counterweight of my legion's trebuchet with a large elastic wood cant and it still functions:

I never thought the 2 Tyler s (Aliensrock and Olexa) would play this game, and I'm so glad they did 👍 The mans know what's good !
Welp, they were sponsored, but the devs know who to sponsor 👌
wait is olexa's name actually tyler i thought it was a bit
You should play Boxboy+Boxgirl or Wilmot Works It Out.
Just the short trailer at the beginning has me hooked and hoping for a series.
But also makes me want to not watch and play it myself.
I'll just watch it and probably play it myself at some point later.
Hey I played that game! Fairly unknown but full of charm, can't wait for your own experience
The title reminds me of something....maybe about a forest that couldn't see...
Oh yeah we have the same thought here. I immediately thought of that other game too.
I'll be honest, this is a lovely game and I've seen a few people play the start. I'd LOVE to watch a playthrough. However just showing snippets I think really doesn't do the game justice
With the Wise Monkeys, it might be that Speak-no-Evil only has one mouth, while the others each have 2 of their signature organs.
Hey! I just wanted to let you know Shotgun king got a pretty significant upgrade, many new mechanics, cards, and 2 new guns
the eating animatoin is SO CUTE
I just saw this on stream and now you've convinced me to play it
Tyler please upload you playing this game to its entirety, it seems great.
3:00 wasn't that just magiccube? Didn't start off with "the hardest" puzzle of all time but definitely felt like the darksouls of puzzle games
you should try out shotgun king again, they released new cards and new endings
Maybe the combination was about those three blind deaf mute statues earlier?
See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil
So yeah
The animations are so cute 🥺❤😊
The wiki page sent me. Thank you for the effort put into these videos!

Platypus 10/10

Wow that game looks cool (I just saw the thumbnail)

Yayyy Ogu!!!
Tunic kind of throws the hardest puzzles at you at the beginning, though you probably won't do them til the end

1:00 cult of the lamb vibes
fun fact: ogu means platypus in korean, because the little guy you play is a platypus

ah the same game as a lot of other games! great!
nevermind, it's better
did the video just range quit us after losing that boss battle? 🤣
It reminds me of Isles of Sea and Sky, it looks very entertaining, new series?
For me it reminds me of that other blind game with similar name, if you get it.
I'mnot sure but i think enki was the name of ab egiptian God too right?
What’s with the new room?
Wish i could watch the full playthrough and not just snippets
25:39 dig spot
is this a compilation reupload?
tyler have you played crosscode
Hi Tyler❤
What happened to the ferret game series? Did it finish?
He said he wasn't a fan of the direction the puzzles were going so he opted to not finish it and ended the series. I was sad, too.
We all live in a yellow submarine.

Oh hey i just watched another guy playing this lol
Tyler sounds like he is slurring his speech this video...

Where is the "includes paid promotion" tag on this video? seriously dude.
I rather liked the emberward series, not a huge fan of the recent sponsored stuff. I hope we see more non-sponsored puzzle series in the future
Is that because they're sponsored, or do you not like the games themselves?

i really don't like these terrible indie games. they are the worst. i'll come back when you're done playing this game.
you should try out shotgun king again, they released new cards and new endings
