@@dwarian5252 yes you can replace anything you do to a card. you can replace purple seal with red seal, just like how you can replace a glass enhancement with a lucky card or mult or whatever.
@@MartijnTV i didn't say that's what you should do. I was just correcting the other guy. Realistically you'll probably never have to turn the purple seals into red. You'll have plenty of each.
When it comes to calculating where to put the blueprint you can count out how many times the cards will trigger and how many times the idol (or whichever joker is relevant to your build) will trigger per card trigger. With dusk and idol active and all glass cards having the red seal you will have 3 card triggers and 2 x2s per trigger (one from glass, one from idol) making it 6 total x2s per card. Putting the blueprint on dusk will make that into 8 total x2s, whereas putting it on the idol would give you 9.
I had to think about it so much, so here's my math on where to put blueprint. Please correct me if I'm wrong: We assume 5 cards with red seal and that Idol triggers that round. C = Cards rs = RedSeal bp = BluePrint I = Idol Blueprint on Idol: (C1, I, Ibp, C1rs, I, Ibp, D, C1, I, C1rs, I, Ibp) = 8 Idol triggers per card for 5 cards = 40 total Idol triggers per hand played. Blueprint on Dusk: (C1, I, C1rs, I, D, C1, I, C1rs, I, Dbp, C1, I, C1rs, I) = 6 Idol triggers per card for 5 cards = total 30 Idol triggers per hand played. Conclusion: In copying Idol, you effectively trigger Idol 2*per count of the card. And since we double trigger the cards with RS, this becomes 4 triggers before dusk and 8 after dusk. Makes 40. While in case 2, we trigger Idol only once and every card 2 times, then two times with the Dusk and 2 times again with the disk copy for a total of 6 triggers per card for a total of 30 triggers on Idol. I don't see where you get your 9 from, but I also conclude that using it on Idol is better if we only take Idol triggers into account.

Glass breaking is ACTUALLY based on the seed. If your 3rd glass use breaks, it will ALWAYS be the third glass card played that breaks. No matter when you use them.
But not.. really? Glass joker scaled so much faster with all the dna copying glass. And skipping blinds is counterintuitive to trying to benefit off dna.
it does scale about as fast, but he was already on Ante 10, so it's really too late to take it. By the time Hologram catches up he would been in Ante 13, which if you can get to Ante 13 with an unbuilt Hologram, you probably didn't need Hologram in the first place.
@@jerkopawdusk is at minimum a x32, and is significantly better once you also factor in idol. FYI, you can still move jokers when you play a hand. You can move them until they activate from left to right. There are some strats of people slowing the game time to move a blueprint so it pops off twice.
i used the online balatro calculator to see what your perfect hand would look like with 5x red seal glass polychrome ace of clubs and dusk+idol activated, at the same level mult of the glass joker and your flush five and with your steel cards in hand youd get around 1.0087e26 which is a bit over 100 septillion (100,870,000,000,000,000,000,000,000). thats a lot of chips
Yeah I just came down to the comments looking for this. The game that lives in your brain forever. Also; absolutely not this channel's style, and I get the sense that Tyler wouldn't like it, but it a puzzle game... maybe one day?
32:55 I hope I'm not being too annoying here, but it's not actually 40 money. It's 40-your earnings from playing the blind normally (I think it would be 15). Then math (Possibility of gold cards to increase profit, possibly scaling glass joker, value from purple seals, DNA value) probably reduces the value of the skip. And then you consider the expected value of a shop, which is hard to quantify.
With the blueprint on idol you trigger the good ability twice every time it's triggered, which is twice, so 4 times. With dusk you trigger everything an additional time so 3 times the good ability. This is a difference of power 4/3 be ause exponential scaling. The difference is the good ability is triggered an additional time but all other good abilities (glass cards) are only triggered twice, so it is about equal because glass and idol are both x2.
Oh nice! I had no idea red seal worked on card-left-in-hand effects! Like gold and steel cards very cool! Thinking about it now, you probably had the perfect start if you were able to get by with steel red seal aces instead of glass aces. Sure you miss out in the 2x glasses, but none of your aces would have gone away, and so your deck and thus also your hand would be full of cards that multiply your mult by 1.5^2 every time! Not that this wasn't amazing, because it definitely was! GG man!
man, when i saw this live i knew it's be physically impossible for you to NOT make it a video, It was that insane of a run. i legitimately was waiting every upload for this run because i couldn't stick around for the whole stream.
52:40 Classic blueprint duping problem. Happens with all card dependent multiplicative mult and retriggers (for example Baron and Mime, Triboulet and Seltzer). Consider for each glass red sealed card, every trigger gives 2^(1 glass + a idol) mult and trigger times is (1 base + 1 red seal + b dusk). Look at the exponents and simplify it to (a+1)(b+2), the product will be the highest if those 2 factors are equal to each other since they add up to 3+a+b when a+b is determined by how many Jokers you have, in this case 3. So if blueprint is duping dusk, the mult each card will give is 2^8 while duping idol will give 2^9. For non red sealed cards duping either way would give 2^6. For chips each retrigger will add, they can be ignored since they’re even less than 2x. So in conclusion, if you have 1 or more red sealed card, dupe idol. If you don’t have any red seals, dupe dusk for the chips
Yeah, the run couldn't have gone to much further if Idol was that necessary. Just the basic issue with a unpredictable random effect. You got some amazing numbers that run.
Kinda feel like there needed to be some culling of other cards, since DNA strictly adds cards, and holding on to Death prevented drawing more copies of Death to gradually turn the trash into more glass aces.

I watched this in the livestream and now again and it is still awesome.
Came to this video to find out just how it's actually possible to hit the ultra-high numbers, and less than 10 minutes in, I'm already getting tips: I didn't realize that the glass enhancement could be stacked on top of foil! Good to know for my future runs! D
55:38 I'm not too sure, so Imma do the math XD, cause there's many other things affecting, like not only you did buff the flush five in the shop before doing it again making a huge difference with the mults, but also one of the glass card broke in the previous one buffing the glass eater joker, and the steel card not present (which Tyler already mentioned), making it an even bigger difference, so Imma do the math without any of those factors involved, in theory: The idol joker just gives a 2x and not chips, for each glass card you get two x2 (glass card itself and the Idol), the blueprint joker adds 1 more to it, making it three 2x, this with the dusk makes six 2x per glass card, with the red seal it makes it nine 2x per glass card (red seal does not get triggered again by Dusk), so with 2 glass cards and 3 red sealed glass cards you get * thirty nine 2x *; Each glass card gives 50 and 11 chips cause they are enhanced, so 61 chips, Dusk bumps it to 122, if the card has red seal on it, it adds 61 more to it, making 183 chips for those, so we have with that setup a total of * 793 chips * (taking only chips from the cards themselves, not counting any other form of chips for now), this makes 793 x 2^39 which is * 435,956,360,413,184 points *. Now the same thing but this time with the blueprint joker with the Dusk, for a glass card it does give out the same amount of 2x, six, but for a red sealed glass card it gives one less as it gets only eight 2x, but you get more chips instead, do these cheaps make out for a better result than more 2x? probably not, but let's see, so with the exact same setup (2 glass cards and 3 red sealed glass cards) you get *thirty six 2x*, as for the chips, since we have a double Dusk in this case, and each card by itself (not red sealed) gives 61, we get 183 for each one of them, and with red seal, we get 61 more making it 244, so for the same setup we get a total of * 1,098 chips *, this makes in total 1,098 x 2^36 which is * 75,453,985,456,128 points *, which is of course, way less. So yes indeed blueprint joker duplicating the behavior of The idol joker is better than duplicating the behavior of The Dusk joker, the three missing 2x really make the difference in the second case, kinda obvious probably. PD: If I did a mistake, please let me know!
On the debate between blueprinting the dusk vs the idol, the difference maker is the red seals. If you have red seals they only add one retrigger, not every time you disk the card. Therefore you get more x2 if you blueprint the idol, not the dusk. Otherwise I would default to the retrigger on dusk
35:28 The page crashed at this exact timestamp, right as it was doing the SUPER POWER NINJA TURBO NEO ULTRA HYPER MEGA MULTI ALPHA META EXTRA UBER PREFIX COMBO. *_The hand was so good, it caused UA-cam to have a stroke._*
I think the maximum one can (realistically) get is 5 glass polychrome aces with red seal, dusk, blueprint and idol so Tylers deck with polychrome instead of foil I wonder what this gets to
I could be wrong. But wouldn't it be better to have Kings (or face cards, for that matter) and the "Retrigger Face cards" Joker in the hand? I mean, DNA, despite copying his cards, didn't add that much to the overall score. So if you're lucky enough, you could remove DNA in the later stages when having the opportunity to buy the retrigger face cards one.
two idols is better since retriggers dont stack. having both red seal and dusk is not 4 total with each one doubling the triggers. instead, each effect adds one to the total for a total of three. two dusks, red seal, and one idol is 4×1 = 4 idol procs per card, while one dusk, red seal, and two idols is 3×2 = 6 idol procs
I think a fun legendary joker would just also scale the same way all other jokers do, so if you had vampire gain x0.2 mult, then the legendary would gain it too, and if at the same time like rocket, square joker, and the pants one all scaled, the legendary would gain all of that too.
Oof. Seeing you turn down that hologram was rough. Quite possibly correct (dusk proooobably does more if idol was kept), but two (or three with blueprint) added cards per fight scales pretty quickly.
55:50. Blueprint on dusk turns it from trigger twice to trigger thrice. blueprint on idol makes it go from 2x to 4x that's why it's better. 4X twice beats 2X thrice

55:38 I'm not too sure, so Imma do the math XD, cause there's many other things affecting, like not only you did buff the flush five in the shop before doing it again making a huge difference with the mults, but also one of the glass card broke in the previous one buffing the glass eater joker, and the steel card not present (which Tyler already mentioned), making it an even bigger difference, so Imma do the math without any of those factors involved, in theory:
The idol joker just gives a 2x and not chips, for each glass card you get two x2 (glass card itself and the Idol), the blueprint joker adds 1 more to it, making it three 2x, this with the dusk makes six 2x per glass card, with the red seal it makes it nine 2x per glass card (red seal does not get triggered again by Dusk), so with 2 glass cards and 3 red sealed glass cards you get * thirty nine 2x *; Each glass card gives 50 and 11 chips cause they are enhanced, so 61 chips, Dusk bumps it to 122, if the card has red seal on it, it adds 61 more to it, making 183 chips for those, so we have with that setup a total of * 793 chips * (taking only chips from the cards themselves, not counting any other form of chips for now), this makes 793 x 2^39 which is * 435,956,360,413,184 points *.
PD: If I did a mistake, please let me know!
hes already hitting 1.7 million and im only a quarter of the way through the video how ridiculous is this about to get
On the debate between blueprinting the dusk vs the idol, the difference maker is the red seals. If you have red seals they only add one retrigger, not every time you disk the card. Therefore you get more x2 if you blueprint the idol, not the dusk. Otherwise I would default to the retrigger on dusk
def could have scored more on that last hand.... you had it all at your fingertips.... just pissed it away. lmao
43:00 Tyler's greed arc has come in full force
35:28 The page crashed at this exact timestamp, right as it was doing the SUPER POWER NINJA TURBO NEO ULTRA HYPER MEGA MULTI ALPHA META EXTRA UBER PREFIX COMBO.
*_The hand was so good, it caused UA-cam to have a stroke._*
I think the maximum one can (realistically) get is 5 glass polychrome aces with red seal, dusk, blueprint and idol
so Tylers deck with polychrome instead of foil
I wonder what this gets to
Showman changes things though
I could be wrong. But wouldn't it be better to have Kings (or face cards, for that matter) and the "Retrigger Face cards" Joker in the hand?
I mean, DNA, despite copying his cards, didn't add that much to the overall score. So if you're lucky enough, you could remove DNA in the later stages when having the opportunity to buy the retrigger face cards one.
@@antaxas7068it actually is, look up balatro infinite score
absurdly high numbers are an easy way of getting me to watch roguelikes/incrementals
two idols is better since retriggers dont stack. having both red seal and dusk is not 4 total with each one doubling the triggers. instead, each effect adds one to the total for a total of three. two dusks, red seal, and one idol is 4×1 = 4 idol procs per card, while one dusk, red seal, and two idols is 3×2 = 6 idol procs
3:09 Bruce Wayne after getting his parents killed
i got to e215 on a random seed pretty good run
That play at 43:00 who else was thinking playing the red seal was dumb when he didn't get copies... Should save it for when he has multible copies
6:46 Why not just go for it? Let’s groove! 🎉🕺💃🎶
Fun fact: The glass jokers ability triggers also from immolate so taking it would have been valid 24:05
imagine playing this irl, you're just getting glass shards all over the floor
55:50. Blueprint on dusk turns it from trigger twice to trigger thrice. blueprint on idol makes it go from 2x to 4x that's why it's better. 4X twice beats 2X thrice
The idol overall did a x16 4 times in the best scenario which results in a x65536. It really mattered.
35:47 1.496 e^12 is actually 1.4 quadrillion. It's 12 digits added to movement of the decimal place.
The pre-history meme to kick things off is A1
0:13 I think that was Tyler’s worst voice crack I’ve heard at least. 😂
What a run
Tyler got so much dirt in his eye from digging he discarded the red seals instead of jut the normal glass....
22:25 a bit of my soul left me when he skipped immolate.
skipping trading card low key was the butterfly effect that caused him to miss idol at the end
Rookie numbers, could not possibly compare to the multi-hyphenate drift king and seed king
I had a similar run where I was copying a glass 6. I used sixth sense to guarantee destroying it, and also had hologram
Bro found a glitch in the matrix with this run😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
Here’s a cool idea: if you had 3, 4, or 5 of a kind kings, then it would be called 3, 4, and 5 of a king, respectively
26:48 the ace that turned into a glass broke
thanks! i'm new and learned a lot from this
