I’ve found that it combos well with Weighted Chip, since once you’ve built up the initial damage you can just launch it over and over into the x2 slot and scale the damage exponentially!

There actually is a hard counter to this build added to the game, its the painter boss on castle! When you destroy its paintings you gain spinification and that damage isnt blocked.
Thoughts: - orboros could be changed to something like "deal 2X damage on skip, where X is the number of times you skip it". Make it scale the same way the cheese does, then that combo would be much harder. If that was something the devs wanted, which honestly, idk it's kinda fun having it as is - that one new enemy who takes 1 damage from every peg hit and only like 1 damage from the actual throw kinda counters this, just in the sense that it probably takes forever to deal with him
Thin bag, Echorb or Orboros, and Bag of Orange Pegs. Once a quarter of the board is gone the damage will just keep multiplying, and you don't even need to hit any more pegs
Back before the unremovable orb I’ve built 0 orb decks and it is so fun. You literally just load into fights and damage until it’s over. I’ve completed it as early as act 2 and just rolled all the way through act 3 and won without anything.
What im excited to see is a truely infinite damage run. If you get over 2 billion damage, it wraps back to the negatives and you softlock yourself with invisible negative hp enemies
I remember how I did this years ago, or at least that's how it feels like right now and I was so satisfied, you didn't need anything besides 0 balls shield and cheese and to get lucky enough to not have the wall on act 2
Tyler if you have yet to get the achievement to buy out the entire shop including the remove an orb and this would be a way to do it by utilizing navigationflation
The only hard-counter that I know of is the painter boss o floor 2 ( for those who dont know destroying his paintings gives you poison and you cant dodge that)
try the gold orb you get from the gold peglin along with the gambler relic. the damage numbers got so high on some of my shots that they turned into letters. i even one shot the dragon boss at the end.

Upgrading orboros also significantly improves its echo, it goes from echo 40 to echo 80 which makes it build up a lot
Echo carries over reloads too, its the true infinite damage

Turns out the round guard doesn't block poison.
