I believe the extra damage in the final boss is because the minions explode in an AOE when they die? idk if that's because of the aliens rock or that's the way they work, but it looked like the same was happening in the red bomb fight, when they suicided next to you, the enemies close to them would take more damage i think?
The evil bomb pegglings do explode in an aoe normally. But that damage is a flat 200, so that 54 is still very weird. But there also was a 777 inbetween. Maybe the cheese has some hidden mechanic, that just scales up its damage to some ridiculous degree if you activate it often enough.
ive once gotten a cheese run started and removed my last orb mid section 2. sadly it was the wall boss, and cheese doesnt kill it fast enough. so i lost
So, is the Horriball specifically an unlock when you do this no balls cheese deck? Since it can't be removed from your deck, it seems like it's a joke counter to this play to prevent it.
It's added to your starting orbs in higher cruciballs, I don't know if the cheese run unlocked it, or if Tyler coincidentally unlocked that cruciball level here
it's niche because your worst orbs get persist, too. if you haven't already thinned away most of your pebballs, and you don't have an extra discard from ambidextionary, it's a bad pick. imagine you have 3 pebballs in a row. normally: skip throw skip. you throw one pebball and you're done. with ring of reuse: skip gets you through the first one, and now you have to throw the second one. the problem is, the second one still has persist, so now you're stuck on the second one still. you now have to throw 2 pebballs to get through this bad stretch.
@@comp.lex4 just don't have bad orbs. You'll eventually get rid of all the pebballs anyways, and the first 2 levels are easy enough to not have problems throwing a stone
@@marcalcantara1174 It still makes the first part of the run harder, as you aren't likely to get rid of all your bad orbs in the forest, especially on the higher difficulties, which makes the castle much harder than it needs to. And for the second half of the run, it doesn't really contribute that much anymore, because usually some other relic combination is carrying you anyway. It's very nice with echorb tho.

Don't have expectations, just ride the wave. However, episodes (for any game) are weekly to prevent burnout and to keep playing it indefinitely, which is working out well.

Upgrading orboros also significantly improves its echo, it goes from echo 40 to echo 80 which makes it build up a lot

Might be, but the horriball usually gets unlocked by other means...and it's indeed painful
