    I’m doing my own version:
    - [ ] 120 - 140 ounces water every day
    - [ ] 30 minutes of activity through the day or at once (45 is a lot for me and i didn’t want to injure myself so I settled for 30 mins)
    - [ ] 10pgs of a book every day (non fic or fic)
    - [ ] Journal every day (it can literally just be a sentence, just write something)
    - [ ] A serving of a veggie every day
    - [ ] 1800 cal limit everyday

I’m just starting the 75 hard. My diet is 72 hrs fasting and eating 1 lb of protein with salt on hour 73…rotating my strict fasting regiment for the 75 days. My exercise plan is doing Insanity in the AM outside on my patio and either going to the gym or for a run after work. I figure I will alternate days gym vs. running. On the “rest days” for insanity I am going to do an ACFT to test how well I improve each week. Well, I will do 5 of the 6 events because I do not have the hex bar for the deadlift. Because of my career I read self-help books daily so that’s already part of my work schedule. The gallon of water with added electrolytes is necessary since I will be fasting but my plan is to use fasting drops so it won’t add sweetness to the water. Anyways, I hope my plan fits the bill for the 75 Hard. So far I’m on day 2…but 2.5 months doesn’t sound as difficult as 75 Days does. 😂 Even though they are the same.

Thanks for this breakdown! As someone who has never done any challenge successfully, the soft challenge would be a huge one for me. I'm considering it, I'm just afraid to fail 😅

You can only experience success through failure. So if you start and fail, restart the next day. But don’t use failure as an excuse to never start.

I really would love to do the 75 Hard buttttt working in a factory and having to ask to use the restroom it's impossible to drink a gallon a day... Working out for 45mins 2x a day is not realistic with 13-16 hr days. Glad I came across this video. 🥰🥰

I work 12 hour shifts so I get it. I am going to do the 75 hard with one exercise modification. One the nights I work, I can complete one workout during my 30 minute lunch, but the other workout that day has to be 1 hour instead of 45 minutes. Maybe this could work for you

The level of dehydration I'm experiencing forcing a gallon of water down is off. My body is rejecting it. I went from hydrated to always thirsty. I'm not trying to be a quitter, but I also don't want to be worse off. I'm already in shape and have been eating extremely healthy for years. I wanted to amp things up.

I'm into the 3rd week of this. I liked the idea of the hard. Going into it I was pretty active with running, swimming, or rucking on some days and then weight lifting (specifically powerlifting) on other days. The combination of the cardio modality and a strength workout has been a huge adjustment. I'm doing it over summer break, I teach elementary PE so I have time for this. During the school year I have about 1 hour everyday for exercise and I had found that to be great with the other physical aspects of my job. Balancing work, family time (married with 2 kids) and other interests is a huge challenge with this challenge. I guess that's why it's called 75 hard. Lol. I like the idea of incorporating a recovery day in every week. There should be a 75 hybrid.

I did the 75 hard 2 years ago and I want to do it again the hard part is getting in two workouts a day, so I’m going soft and just doing one workout a day but will follow all the other rules of the hard challenge.

I haven’t done either program. But I’ll say this. The obesity epidemic we have in the U.S. today is because people have vey little discipline, don’t want to put in the work, always find an excuse. If you really want to change, you will change your ways and commit. Otherwise failure is all you will know. I’ve been training and moving 2 hours a day for 35 of my 53 years. We all have the same 24 hours. Choose or plan to get these items in daily or accept a continuous cycle of trying, failing, and coming up with excuses.

So what you’re really saying is…TRYING = EXCUSES! Take TRY out of your vocabulary and replace it with DO! That’s what I tell my patients and it eventually clicks that a self-limiting belief is making it easy for them to make excuses instead of doing what is necessary.

I believe it was just a mistake when this video was filmed.

Not sure why it’s not a real thing? 75 Hard wasn’t a real thing till It was created, 75 Soft is no different.

@@FizznessShizzness The concept behind 75 Hard and the reason it’s called 75 Hard is because it’s meant to build mental toughness. 75 Hard was created so you don’t deviate from the program because it requires discipline and consistency. Creating something “like” it defeats the purpose. I say it’s not a real thing because the fact of calling it 75 Soft disregards the impact the program is supposed to do for you. Call it what you want. It’s just blasphemous to call it 75 Soft if you’ve listened to why Andy created the program. The “Why” matters

@@FizznessShizzness it’s no way you listen to Andy’s reasoning behind 75 Hard and still think that 75 Soft has any legitimacy behind the concept. I don’t have a problem with a fitness guy creating a program relative to 75 Hard, I just have a problem with him using the name as if their is any alternative that Andy created himself. If you ask majority of the people that have completed 75 Hard, I’m sure you would get the same sentiment.
