I just finished day 75!!! Whoohoo!! I am disabled and my WHY was a milestone birthday in April, wanting to live longer. I have Elhers Danlos , a disease that isn't fun. I saw something on TT and started on March 19 2021. I never cheated once! I haven't had one migraine, inflammation has all but disappeared, sleeping better, stopped my indigestion/Gerd med, ..Body swelling is gone. I have a huge list of how it has changed my life. No sugar, bread, red meat etc etc. I don't know what it is about this challenge, I've been on so many many diet plans, but THIS WILL BE MY FOREVER way of life!!! I'm forever changed!
I knew very little about 75 hard from TT, but it got me on the right path for certain. I lost 28 pounds.
This is my first UA-cam about this challenge, and you explain it so well. There is so much I didn't know. Now the next 75 days, I'll go deeper doing the things I didn't know is a new challenge.
Thank you for you video!
Oh and, I do the same, I keep baby carrots too much on a couple of and when I want to crunch! :)
One more thing , after maybe a week of no sugar, I no longer have the cravings for sugar. It's really amazing and I'm grateful. I apologize for writing so much, I'm just really super excited!😊
This is probably the most inspiring UA-cam comment Ive received! Thank you so much for sharing some of your story and I'm so so happy that this challenge positively impacted your life in this capacity! I wish you the best of luck in the future!
Congratulations on finishing. Big accomplishment. I'm starting again today. Failed last year. I have many excuses that are all non sense so back at it
@@jasonthieme8926
You can do it! Write on your calendar day 25,40,50, etc until day 75! This helped me so much! And I'm doing my second 75 now, knowing more about the plan from this great video! I really have had a life change and so glad, it's helped my mental state more than I can say as to my own longevity. 😊 Best of luck!
Great feedback. Thank you! :))
Congratulations!!!That’s so awesome! Thank you fir this , today is Day 1 for me.
Did this challenge last year to prepare for my marathon, lost 43 pounds and ended up running 31 miles since my event was cancelled due to Covid.
Dude...this is fricken awesome! Congats!

12/2/23 Viewing; loved it!
Thank you!
Thank you so, so much for this video. Would 2 meals a day (morning and evening), vegetarian and no added sugar count as a nutrition plan for this challenge?
Idrissa Thiam You can choose any nutrition plan you’d like as long as you follow it correctly and don’t have any “cheat meals”. I would first try to get a little more specific with your goals and then base the nutrition off of that.
I'm gonna start frm sept 1 as day one..wish me luck guys....gotta make thz quarantine time more productive
No need for luck, you got this! Way to make the most of the situation

How did it go???
Hey man! In the traveling part, you talked about service that you can order food from whereever you're at! Do you have any recommendations?
On Sunday nights when you planned out your week. Any tips? Did you do it on your computer like on an excel spreadsheet? Or did you hand write your schedule? Just curious. Trying to figure out which method works best. Thanks.
Burke Hedges Hey man! I personally use google calendar for everything now. You can color code your schedule how you like and view it from day, week, or month, you can share events/meetings so it sends both of you reminders, you can write in tasks/notes, etc. Super easy to use and helps keep everything organized!
I ordered the book, never saw anywhere that one of the workouts need to be outdoor. I am on day 42, now I feel like I’m slacking.
I’m starting April 8th. I’d start today but my birthday is the 7th and I have a bite of cake on my birthday.
Enjoy your cake and then give it a go! Let me know how it goes.
How is it going?
Did u start?
I’m on day 1 🔥

How are you doing? Keep going!!
I’m late to the game but on day 4 & I will not fail
Love the energy! And it's never too late to better yourself! Keep me updated on your progress
Hey just found your channel bc I'm starting the 75 hard program on Monday I hope you see this I know it was a year ago but u have such great pointers I was wondering if u documentented any of ur journey..I hear slot of people that did like there second eorkoutiut like just a slow walk
.and I'm thinking does that even count as a workout,.? Because I'm so used to going hard in the gym but then hearing u really helped that's why I have some questions
Also right now it's dead of winter in new jersey where I live so I don't know what I should do for my outdoor wORKOUT
hit me up on my IG @nick_updike and Id be happy to answer any questions you have!
@@nickwholesome thank u I def will tomorrow after work I really appreciate it I'll fill you in on my normal fitness routine and then ask how I should structure this two workout deal outside in the freezing cold..and then also what kind of healthy snacks if any are allowed
I might be wrong but I think its a part of the challenge to do those mistakes to learn. Like for an instance you talked about lacking to plan your water intake during the day so you had to drink a lot before sleep with ended you in you waking up to go to the bathroom. I bet you didn't do that mistake again. :) 🔥 But Great video Keep it cooming 🎄
Rami Haha 100% man! Everyone watching lives a different life and will have to go about this challenge differently. Therefore there’s no perfect system and everyone will make their own mistakes until they figure out what works best for them! That’s the fun part haha. I’m just doing my best to provide some of the tips and tricks I learned throughout my experience :)
Hello, Andy said in his 75hard info page that 75hard is meant to work in line with your current fitness program
I'm currently following a beginner half marathon program but I want to start 75 hard. My long run days are currently 5 miles which takes me 1 hour to run (slow runner). My question is do I need to do another 45min. in-door workout or do you think it's ok to subtract and do 30min indoor workout for example, same goes for when I need to do 10k or 7miles etc. and my outdoor workout will run for a longer period of time
Great Video BTW I'm excited to start!
What's up Karen! I'm not Andy, so I cant tell you exactly what he would say in this situation, but he was pretty clear that you need to do two separate 45 minute workouts. I understand the runs are probably pretty taxing, so maybe do the other 45 minutes indoors either stretching or working on stabilization exercises that won't take too much out of you, but will help with your long term goals!
@@nickwholesome thanks so much! Will do 😊 thanks for the quick reply!
Can the workouts be consecutive? I wake up every morning go CrossFit. After CrossFit I drive back home then I do my outdoor workout.
Love the Vid!💪🏽 Great pointers!!
I know you don't want to hear this, but he said they cant be consecutive. That definitely made it difficult for me as well haha.
Ahahahahaha WHAT no way😂 I listened to one podcast of his when he was announcing & he didn’t mention any time gap.😳 as long as one is outside. So I just went off with that.
Thanks for sharing your experience with this super tough challenge and for the clean language video compared to the creator of the challenge .
Im glad you enjoyed it!!
Hey Nick what time do you recommend to make my workout to be more productive?
That is completely based on your schedule brother! I find that picking a time you can stick to consistently helps :)
Can you share what books you read while doing the challenge?
100% bro! I actually just made a post on IG with 4 of my favorite books. 2 of which I read during 75hard. @reel_driven
A couple things I’m seeking clarification on about the challenge:
If you consume tea/coffee, that is not included in the 64 oz or water, correct?
If you follow flexible dieting/macros counting, where do pizza, chipotle, and bday cake stand is they are embedded into your MFP app?
Genny Schwarzberg Those are great questions!
As for the tea/coffee, those do not count towards your water intake unfortunately.
When it comes to your diet, you CANNOT eat cheat meals such as cake, donuts, fried chicken, etc.. That would defeat the overall purpose of this challenge, which is to exercise extreme discipline and build up your mental toughness! I personally use the 80/20 IFFYM when I’m off this challenge, so I basically did 100/0, it will fit my macros during these 75 days hahaha.
Please feel free to ask any other questions. Have a great day!
Where is the audio to the 75 day challenge?
Anthony Ramirez Here’s the direct link to the episode! Hope you enjoy 👊🏽 podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-mfceo-project/id1012570406?i=1000431268030
Thanks for the post ! I'm staring tomorrow, and I currently drink almost ever day.. but I am committing to doing this.. how did you deal with that ? Also what books would you recommend reading ? Thanks for your help.. Mark
What's up Mark! Check out my instagram page @reel_driven and website www.reeldriven.life. I have a ton info and resources on both, including a book list with all my favorite books and reviews on some of them! If you have any questions, shoot me a dm on insta and I got you!

@@markguitar1123 Not a problem Mark! Have a great Fathers Day!
You crushing 75 hard 1 month in?
@@Poop_Scoop71 I would say the first month and the last 20 days were my strongest. I noticed around the halfway mark that I began falling into a routine/going through the motions and I became a bit complacent with my progress. I had to readjust and ramp it up again for the last 20 days or so!
You can do more then the 90 minutes right like if I wanna play a few hours of soccer it’s fine right? stupid question but yea
Yes! As long as you complete two separate workouts - one indoor and one outdoor for 45 minutes minimum each.
I’m doing this but with Keto diet
Juan Luis Londoño awesome man, just stick with it 👊🏽
Hey! I am starting my 75 Hard tomorrow and if because of the coronavirus I can't step out of the house, will a workout in the balcony/terrace will be considered outdoors?
Rajveer Singh I think considering the circumstances, that would definitely suffice! Good luck man, you got this!
@@nickwholesome Thank you mate! Appreciate it!
@@RajveerSingh-bn1eu how is the challenge going? I start this sunday with my good friend Justin.
🤣why dahell can you NOT “step out the house” ?!
When will your grocery list be back up on your website?
Very shortly my friend! If you would like it now, don't hesitate to shoot me a dm
Is the grocery list available???
Good question.
And what comes next? After completing the challenge, what do you do to not revert back?
After 75hard there is phase 1, then phase 2, then phase 3. If you complete all of those, the mental toughness you gain will be so engrained in you that I can almost guarantee a fundamental shift of some capacity. The goal is to cultivate a tremendous mindset and NOT revert back to your old mindset and habits by the time everything is over, but it is a slippery slope...So just be self-aware of your actions :) Hope that helps
ReelDriven oh! I didn’t know there is a phase 2 and 3! That’s amazing. Where can I find the 2nd and 3rd phase?
Thank you for the info!
Hi I'm about to start with 75hard. Part of my diet has meal replacements which has 500ml or 0.123 galloans of water, can that be included in the water intake daily goal?
Is it in the form of a protein shake? I don't recall him ever discussing that specifically, but I think that would be something you would have to decide on for yourself. I personally never counted the water in my shakes towards my count if that helps haha.
@@nickwholesome haha thanks, yeah kinda like protein shakes, I guess I'll do what you did lol
When doing this can you eat sushi?
I am beginning this with my b/f Jan 1. which i have a cut planned already, but this is going to be HARD. I think the hardest part for myself will be the alcohol... any good tips on not drinking? I've completed 3 months sober before, but not consecutively ..
Did you see my response on IG?
I havent read it yet, I have been a bit caught up in stuff. But yes I see! I am going to read it in a little bit!
What if you have a cold does achohol in say Nyquil count or just drinks
just drinks hahaha
Any book recommendations?
sooooo many haha. What kind of books are you looking for?
It's not a challenge it's a program!!!
Correct
can’t find the grocery link
Whats up man! My website is under contruction right now so I took down the link, but if you shoot me a DM on Insta @reel_driven, Id be happy to get you the info!
No alcohol with a big bottle of wine in the background. Not so subtle taunt for us who enjoy wine.
Probably should have thought that one through hahaha I was filming at an ABNB at the time. Sorry for the teasing lol
So is there a specific book you have to read? or is it just any book of choice?
The book must be non- fictional and audiobooks don't count
@@loisseguwayawson6773 ^ Lois is on it!
Does walking around at work count as a exercise?
I believe the exercise should be separate/intentional. If you are doing a ton of physical exercise throughout the day though, use your best judgement. This is a you vs you program :)
Did you link the grocery list? I don’t see it
Shoot me a dm @reel_driven and I will get it to you my friend
Is it allowed to drink coffee/tea with no sugar also what if I cant go out ? Can I just workout both the 45 min workouts indoor ?
no it has to be outdoors its in the fine print smh
Like Sarah said, Andy was very specific it needs to be outdoors due to the ever changing climate and weather patterns. May I ask why you are unable to go outside?
@@nickwholesome hey
Because of quarantine you know
Also is it okay to have coffee or tea
@@hajarelsayed20 I sure hope so haha, I drink black coffee in the mornings and tea at nights!
Why do you have to take a progress pic every day? Why can’t it be once a week? What change can you see in one day?
It's not about the daily progress, but more about the discipline of getting it done each day.
What is your grocery list
First Bald Eagle it’s just a list of the foods I eat on a regular basis my man. Shoot me a dm on Instagram I’ll give it to you 👍🏽
How will this teach me moderation? For bingeing and for my lifestyle to actually maintain the weight ?
Well Charlotte, that's an awesome question! I believe the mental toughness, health, and habits you develop throughout the challenge will carry over afterwards - with some effort of course! At that point, it should be easier for you to slowly incorporate some of the other treats you love in a CONTROLLED moderation. It is a very slippery slope though, so you want to be careful that you do not revert back into you old bad habits and you keep your standards high!
I hope this helped some, as I know it can get very challenging throughout the challenge to not binge out (I've experienced the urges too). Just remember your end goal and why you started in the first place :)
-Nick
ReelDriven Yes this helps. I’m struggling to ride out the cravings in the first place. I’ve been giving up wayy to easily. I don’t know what strategies to put in place to avoid it.
I would highly recommend the book Atomic Habits! Will change the game for you or if you need 1v1 coaching we provide that as well :)
Do you guys count your 1 gal of water in your preworkout?
I did not
Where do I find the videos
Which videos are you referring to?
Do supposed to work out on rest days ? I work out 4 times in a week
Yes. Every single day, 75 days straight of working out twice a day. You do not, however, need to go balls to the walls with every workout
Do we have to quit smoking 🚬
Could just a 45 minute walk count as 1 workout?
100%, I did that quite frequently on days I was exhausted or very sore!
