Ghostspy10 Ace Combat Fan Hi I just made an attempt to make an Ace Combat Based quiz. Please test it out! (Sorry about the typo at the beginning) www.qzzr.com/c/quiz/430658/ace-combat-trivia-quiz
14:25 if memory serves after the kid confronted yellow 13 he eventually started practically living with the yellow squadron after his uncle "vanished". so him overhearing the crew chief makes sense as he is almost like a small part of the squad.
Sly, the U2 is a stealth recce plane. That's why the Erusians couldn't down it - they couldn't find it. And when the map faded out the blue it was showing the area of the continent that could be affected by Megalith, to give some scope of the level of destruction that would be possible.
The US tested a several modifications on the U-2. One was a radar absorbent material called "Wallpaper", which sadly was a thermal insulator. Another method would have been trapeze. www.coldwar.org/pictures/reconaisance_pictures/u2rainbow.jpg Maybe in Strangereal they have fixed the overheating issue, who knows...
U-2 isn't stealth, there wasn't any stealth technology that existed at the time. U-2 is meant to fly at high altitudes and stay out of range of enemy fighters and missiles. The reason it was flying so low was because of engine trouble, like the Safe Return briefing stated
Again, the kid holding 13 at gunpoint is MUCH more emotional than not doing it. Not only is Yellow 13 finding out two children who's he befriended have betrayed him with the resistance, but he also seeing that one of them might be willing to kill him after spending so much time together. It's like having your best friend suddenly pull a gun on you and threaten to kill you and saying he only became your friend to betray you. Seeing the kid hold him at gunpoint is much more emotionally devastating for 13.
DeadlyRecon In my opinion, words hurt more than weapons. I saw it as a much more emotional thing when the kid stood down Yellow 13 with nothing but himself and his words, rather than with pointing a gun at him. Again, that's just my opinion, and this video is certainly biased. Cinema Sins is certainly not immune to different opinions, nor am I :P
Yeah, words hurt more than weapons up until you take a bullet to the gut lol That level of indescribable pain, both physically and psychologically, tends to be the ultimate example of betrayal :P In all seriousness, it's easy to say things like "words hurt more than weapons" up until the moment someone actually pulls a gun on you. Then fear and anxiety take over, causing you to start looking back on your life questioning your existence and wondering if you could have done things differently. The threat of death is, above all else, the greatest display of hatred. To hate someone so much you not only wish them dead, but also intend to kill them yourself, says more than any words ever could. Even more so when you happen to be close to that person's heart. Furthermore, I also believe silence tends to be worse than words. At least when a person talks, it means they have the will and heart to do so. They at least respect you that much to say something. But silence? Silence means you aren't even worth the breathe. Or it means they know what they are doing is so despicable they can't explain themselves even if they tried. As a person who *personally knows* the pain of silence, that much I am certain of.
@@SlyAceZeta: I *KNOW* words hurt *MORE* than weapons, because I live with an Emotionally Abusive Blackmailer who NEVER shuts up about Trump or everything "She" finds wrong with the World!!!
I realize this is a little late, but- the ship crane moving (at 6:45 or so) could be the case, and wouldn't be the first time a shipbuilding crane moved during an attack on a harbor. Shipbuilding cranes are mounted on train tracks (or similar) to move up and down the ship. See the USS Pennsylvania at Pearl Harbor- it was in dry dock, and the crane working on it moved to try to block enemy planes from hitting the ship.
The intro of Megalith, is one of the most epic and intimidating cutscenes in whole AC history... i mean, it clearly says "This is a f*cking doomsday end of the world thing, and YOU will stop it!" O-o;
Idk about the Megalith sin involving the use of a flamethrower. A place as big as Megalith would more likely be made mostly from concrete, with metal being used for critical components like doors, blast deflectors for the missile exhaust, electrical systems, etc. They wouldn't make whole rooms from metal
0:53 Well, birds can do some severe damage so Mobius 1 wouldn't be happy anyway if he was close to having engine problems because of them. 1:05 Could just be a bandana. 1:29-1:32 The size of the weapon plant was rather disturbing, to the extent that it would take AIRBORNE ORDINANCE to undo it. If you've seen how big the Stonehenge facility was, I honestly doubt C4 would have done much. A ground invasion would have been worse if Erusea controlled the skies. In terms of cost-effectiveness, I'm inclined to say air raids would be better. 2:09 Ace Combat does use the NATO reporting names for airframes for Strangereal, but that's supposed to tell you on the radio you bagged a Tu-95 in half the syllables. Do take a sin off for radio brevity, Sly. 2:28 That doesn't necessarily meant that EVERYONE had them. Plurality doesn't suggest en masse use here. 2:32 That probably appeals to the realism of understanding heading and distance by landmarks. Also, if you're flying in enemy territory, you might not want to be ogling your radar all the time. 2:39 You're not supposed to be able to pick up enemy airfield radio channels, let alone know who *THEY* are talking to. I'd suggest that would be ATC contacting the base's Command Post, or Command Post contacting some field HQ. 2:57 Depends if they were all confirmed as Mobius 1 kills. Because it would be customary to embellish your actual combat performance. 3:08 There were probably some remaining ISAF controlled pockets nearby and that area wasn't one of them. 3:15 Missions get completed or resolved either way, in success or failure. I think Sky Eye should have said, "A safe return will allow you to keep going on more missions." 3:31 I understand the real thing is far worse on annoying sounds. Imagine having to hear the armed tone of an AIM-9 constantly, despite that you'd be happy you were still breathing in an intense battle. 3:46 It was lost in translation, I guess? 3:56 I guess he was trying to say they're not being so overwhelmed numerically. 3:59 He could have been talking to his wingman, and you weren't supposed to have heard that as the enemy. 4:09 I thought you were going to call it on how dumb that line was and add a sin for it. He's complaining about how it wouldn't be so smart being in enemy territory during a WAR. 4:17 It's a valuable asset. How else do you transport drilled oil en masse on land from the water? 4:32 Except you didn't know *what* manner of help was coming. 4:58 Oil has some long distances to travel on the cheap, that's why. 6:23 Denial, as in "this can't be real". But "overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer". 6:34 It could just be a historic landmark. Maybe you should take the city's official tour sometime, Sly. 7:56 Look, if friend-zoning made the difference between life and death, there's no shame in it. And by the way, they ended up becoming a family(supposedly). You shouldn't have added a sin for that. 10:37 Sometimes the most fulfillment you get from life in general are with those who are the most likened to you in every way. Of course it makes me wonder why Yellow 13 doesn't find something different than being a pilot in a war, which is temporary in the grand scheme of things. 11:06 My eyes have seen some fancy A-10 flying back in my own AF days, but at low speeds like what your speed was at. It's not entirely implausible, particularly for a veteran or ace pilot. 11:43 Tango is phonetic for 'T'. So it's "T-Line", whatever T would signify. 12:49 There's a lot of uninteresting things you have to do in the military anyway. That's just how it is. You don't always get to do the things that might actually be cool to do. 13:05 Economics. Do you really think they're going to use Stonehenge(try to imagine the monthly bill on that behemoth) to bag a couple of civilian planes? 14:28 What's the worst that could happen in complaining to a kid? In the military, you have to watch out how and whom you're complaining. Choosing a kid is astute for someone who can easily get his butt chewed out even harder. 16:52 But are they also responsible for those supply issues? She took a risk--whether she was ordered to or not--and incidentally, got shot down by Mobius 1, which was by the ENEMY and not necessarily because of maintenance neglect. Sometimes in war, you don't get a choice to sit it out if your gear isn't up to snuff. 17:00 It wasn't in cold blood. She was armed and a legal combatant. 18:14 My guess is they were going for emphasized stealth. The slower you fly, the less noise you make, which means ground forces wouldn't be alerted. For AC5's Solitaire mission, you had to take it slow to avoid the detection pockets. 21:32 I guess it was a matter of conscience because they were just youth. 22:56 The whiner only really joined up for the college money... 27:15 No more than all the other Mobiuses being the only real Mobius pilot of the eponymous squadron. Doubtless they were newly initiated rookies. 29:41-30:19 I think you have to remember that back in the early 2000's mass media was not as advanced as it is now. Internet did not completely kill the TV star yet. So in terms of having the encyclopedic information you're looking for, it would be a lot tougher to determine the scoop on everyone. Good luck trying to follow [up] people if there was nothing on cable TV about them, and the Internet was only really getting up off the ground.
No mention of the plane selection, named aces, time attack missions, multiplayer, Nagase easter egg, wing in the water, that crazy xb-70 or whatever it is in the missile mission, map designs, the northern lights, and the fact that there should be a sin removed for almost every audio track in the game......... Still a great video lol. Thanks SlyCooperFan1! P.S.- if you ever do AC6, there has to be a bonus round for every instance of "Go dance with the angels!" in the game.
Stonehenge is an overt use of assets. Eurusia was trying to cover-up an embarrassing defection. And the captain was shot by a foot soldier just before takeoff
6:40 the crane isn't actually moving, you can see the road in the background after a few seconds. It looks like the boom of the crane is moving but it it's just some dark strip of texture
1:50 Holy shit, SlyCooperFan1 you never sinned the fact that they're depicting an F-4E taking off from an aircraft carrier. THE F-4E ISN'T CARRIER CAPABLE 21:44 No "I hate sand" reference. :( 23:55 Thats not a helicopter.
F-4A, F-4B, F-4J, F-4K (Phantom FG.1 for the Royal Navy whose scheme is the one Mobius 1's scheme is based on), F-4N and F-4S are the carrier capable ones.
The F-4E wasn't carrier capable. It had a tail hook, but the cannon meant that the already nose-heavy aircraft was now too nose-heavy to take off from a carrier deck Also a reason why Navy Phantom pilots sometimes didn't strap on Sparrows into the front fuselage missile wells. This lightened the nose, made taking off easier, and generally made them lighter and better to handle.
"Pilots are responsible for their planes." That would apply to privately owned civilian planes I believe. Military planes and jets are maintained by the ground crew. If a jet had its engine damaged like that, it would've been immediately grounded. Erusea wasted more money on replacing an Su-37 and training a new pilot to fill in the spot of Yellow 4 instead of replacing the engine. Hell they could've just replaced the Su-37 outright.
15:10 Actually SCF1, the three shells in the cutscene weren’t a complete waste. They’re meant for the ISAF Air Force detachment approaching Stonehenge from the south. As the cutscene ends, the mission starts and one of the pilots says as the shells will explode soon after. I’m removing a sin due to an error. *-1 Sin*
Fighterpilot555 Actually i think it's half right & half wrong because Stonage can lock-on to you if your altitude was in a good range for their aiming range limit X) I say that because i was shot down like that before if my memory serves me right X)
Besides, it's so much more exciting to dogfight at low altitudes. I still remember one time playing the carrier escort mission in 5 fighting and evading so low to the water that I was making wake in it.
I should actually note, two years late, that Sean Chiplock recorded lines for Ace Combat 7. None of these lines were used in game (or are instead for DLC that is yet to come). It is distinctly possible that Kevin Miller and Justin Worsham recorded lines that were ultimately cut.
This was amazing and etertaining! It was as good as I expected. Me and my brother had a good laugh and some reflections, sin upon sin, and the end where you put the funnier bits was just OMG, I never laughed that hard in years. Thank you SlyCooperFan1, for an amazing video. I love the Ace Combat series (and secrectly, Im working on getting my brother to play them as well, but it seeems that AC7 will be his first ;) ) and I sincerely hope you do more videos in the future. (Sugestion: do Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War next).
Oh! Also: Sin nº88 Minute 19:35 - I dont exactly think it should count as a sin, becouse Cruise Missiles and other heavier Long-Range Ordinance in missile form are programmed to do random evasive maneuvers to not make its trajectorie easy to intercept. But hey, shooting down that thing was annoying as hell, so what do I know?
And Also: Sin nº115 Minute 24:50 - Humm... I guess that the giant circle coming from Megalith is its operational range (or its range translating its targeting ability),remebering that Megalith is a facillity capable of launching really,REALLY powerfull missile weaponry (besides the interception missiles used for intercepting the Ulisses Fragments, it could theoretically launch, say like... ICBM's?), wich I guess means "YES! YOUR NOT SAFE MOTHER F****R! PREPARE TO FEEL THE RATH OF ERUSIA!" (explaning the map fadding to red again, but then again, i realise that the Erusian Forces have surrendered, so I guess their just trying to cause Chaos in the continent?)
(Am probably getting annoying at this point, sorry) Sin:121 Minute 26:05 "Except filthy Erusians!" - Thats probably racist... (Just kidding) (P.S Am being a bit nitpicky on your nitpicks I guess ;P )
I noticed one in particular that you missed on "Breaking Arrows". At 18:48-19:08, Sky Eye was lying. He said, "Another aircraft on radar. That's strange. There's only one." But he didn't notice the two F-22's escorting it. And before you say that the Raptors are stealth, Sky Eye could obviously see the 5 B-2's in "Comona", which are MUCH stealthier than F-22's. So he's lying to us! Anyway, another great video Sly, and I look forward to your next one. I can't wait until you do Ace Combat Assault Horizon! See ya on the Wiki.
We can suppose that our AWACS wasn't deploy for the missiles interception on combat zone because it need to be fast, more than "Comona" we they can have prepared the AWACS plane (and their an airport on the Comona islands). So detection can be less good than in Comona.. (I SUPPOSE)
That's the one thing I've been questioning since I was 5 years old. Why is the carrier CV pushing Mobius One to take off while they're preparing you? Also "Your callsign is now Mobius One" Either it always has been or I'm wondering what is was before. Ah 15 year questions.
Actually, I think the fact he was planning to use the gun gave it a more emotional theme. Remember, this is a child, not an adult, confronting the idea of killing another man. Without the weapons, the narrator kid is seen as nothing more than an innocent child given a very horrible situation. But that changes when the weapons and his intent to use them is thrown into the mix. It adds much more depth to his character, showing his internal conflict and struggle: Revenge for his family VS Forgiveness and closure.
It always bothered me that he never told Yellow 13 that he was the cause of his parents death, and is now all alone with his parents dead and his uncle disappearing either from abandoning him or being abducted by the secret police.
Was going to suggest for Sin 115 (24:35) that the Treaty/Ceasefire could’ve been signed with a delay. This happened in World War 1, where the actual document outlining the Armistice was signed at 5am GMT (6am Local Time). The Document only came into effect at 11am GMT, which meant there was still 6 hours of fighting until the Treaty took effect.
Retrospective sin: You can bomb the flagship in Comberth as much as you like, but Torres is going to live and you're still going to have to deal with the Alicorn in AC7.
Was heading to the comments to say great video but then I saw ace combat zero and thought well that's another countdown for the stopwatch :D Seriously though great vid. I never even knew that the Japanese story was slightly different. Keep up the great work :)
You're right, it's not a TGT and doesn't affect the mission much, but they do make a point of it in the briefing and in the mission dialogue :P Plus, the bridge is indeed completely rebuilt and redesigned in AC7. It's like the jamming facility in the center of Stonehenge--you don't have to destroy it to complete the mission, but it's urged by the briefing and dialogue, and AC7 canonically shows the jamming facility as having been bombed.
A note about the first failed attack to Stonehenge: the aircrafts are the fastes means to launch air attacks when the front is too extended. The first attack occurred at the beggining of the war but apparently try to reach STN via land was to diffucult if not impossibile.
I'm pretty sure "Right behind you, heads up!" is the pilot calling out to a wingman that you're behind them. It always seems to play in those instances when I use the game, at least. Still sinnable for the ambiguity, I suppose. Also, in the Stonehenge attack, you don't need to stay below 2000 feet for the opening salvo, but once you attack the facility the blast wave from the guns can still swat your plane down. They still do something, but the gunners would rather aim for everyone else despite all the transmissions about "aim for the ribbon."
As of typing this I have started watching the video, betting that the Shattered Skies mission will cause a roll credits sin EDIT: Yup. Edit 2: Again at megalith
I just remembered something. It is a spiritual sequel to Ace Combat 2 as the first and last mission locations are in OPPOSITE order from 2. Ace Combat 4: Start at North Point...End at Twinkle Island Ace Combat 2: End at North Point...Start at Twinkle Island
You know i was suprised that you didnt take a sin off when a Yellows started noticing your atttacking one of them and causing them to smoke. Even another is telling everyone that A Fighter with a Ribbon is putting up a fight and becoming a bigger threat then most of your allies. But then again, a sin would be added for them or Yellow 13 not recognizing you in the Stonehedge Offensive. Since Mobius 1 is the only one with a ribbon throughout the game until his squadron bears the insignia in Megalith.
On Sin 23; *Friend:* "Radio Failure!" "But... you... just... used it. *Me:* "And to confirm this, not only did the caption pop up, I HEARD YOU!! *DING!*
I feel the need to do a sin counter for you. For instance, "Tango Line" most likely refers to, "Target Line", or something similar. "Tango" is NATO phonetic for "T", and military always uses the phonetic when there's a single letter. This one was the final straw before I had to leave.
SlyCooperFan1 Well, what do you expect me to assume when the video is literally called, "Everything Wrong With Ace Combat 04"? All I'm saying is that I didn't appreciate the lack of effort in some of your jokes.
To be fair, you wouldn't really be able to take out Stonehenge with ground forces while the enemy has air support. Then again, air strikes on the enemy airfields could fix that.
So Kevin Miller does Additional voices for some of the possible NPC 's. He doesn't do a specific character. Also I believe the initial cause for the war besides Erusia taking control of Stonehenge was the astroids that landed 5 years prior to the story. I believe 5 major astroids wiped out a huge portion of Strangereal and the small fragments continue to pummel the continent. I Believe the raid on Megalith was like the group (A World with no Boundaries) which consists of rouge Erusian soldiers who became terrorists to take revenge against ISAF and Erusia for surrendering.
3:32 Why are the transports heading North West? Comberth Harbor is behind them! The mission location should've been called "South East of Comberth Harbor"!
Additional sin for calling what is obviously a V-22 Osprey a "helicopter" I've always seen Megalith's hallways as being sorta like a hospital really, with tiling and panels, and maybe concrete.
"Everything Wrong With Ace Combat 04 in 30 Minutes or Less" - takes 30 minutes 12 seconds to fully sin the game. *ding*

@@Alysa-AidayLeave the orange man out of this. He doesn't have to permeate our funny video game videos, too.
The intro of Megalith, is one of the most epic and intimidating cutscenes in whole AC history... i mean, it clearly says "This is a f*cking doomsday end of the world thing, and YOU will stop it!" O-o;
*bows*
Namco needs to remaster Ace Combat 4 and 5.
Colonel Pepper and zero
and 6
@@0uttaS1TE No, Infinity takes place on Earth, not Strangereal.
And by the way, looks like AC5 did get a remaster along with AC7 pre-orders.
Victor Silva wasn’t a remaster it was a port 😓
I think Sky Eye should have said, "A safe return will allow you to keep going on more missions."
3:31 I understand the real thing is far worse on annoying sounds.
Good luck trying to follow [up] people if there was nothing on cable TV about them, and the Internet was only really getting up off the ground.
go touch some grass moron
10/10. p.s. never forget the doggo with the apron.
KennyCnotG omg, yes. Jesus dance with the angels was annoying as hell
That would single-handedly double AC6's sin count. Perform at your own risk, Sly.
KennyCnotG Congratulations, you did exactly what the description told you not to do. Half of your suggestions don't even make sense for sins.
Derpy 1109 You can't make Everything Wrong With AC6 without bringing THAT up...
Extreme Drinking Game: Take a shot every time a character says, "Dance with the angels!", or the Emmerian DJ comes on in the middle of a battle.
Pilot:“High, high”
This guy: “Hi!”
Best thing in this video 🤣
"who, mobius one or yellow 13? I mean you're right either way but still"
This one line single handedly summarizes the entire mood of this game.
Stonehenge is an overt use of assets. Eurusia was trying to cover-up an embarrassing defection. And the captain was shot by a foot soldier just before takeoff
6:47 - Well done on removing that sin. My eyes watered a little on that one.
I can't believe you didn't sinned the fact that in the final mission of every Ace Combat game, we had to go through some kind of tunnel
jeffpage1000 That's not a sin...that's a blessing
jeffpage1000 not fires of liberation that just had an insanely powerful plane to fight and the drone oh god the drones
Bradknightable In the last mission in ace combat 6 you fly into the barrel of a massive railgun.
except for air combat ac3 and ac5
that doesnt have tunnel final mission
jeffpage1000 That's not something worth sinning, imo.
I TOLD YOU TO PULL A U-TURN!
I could only do that with the insane maneuverability of the XFA-27. Am I just that bad? xD
I pulled it with the most overpowered plane in the game, the F6F.
6:40 the crane isn't actually moving, you can see the road in the background after a few seconds. It looks like the boom of the crane is moving but it it's just some dark strip of texture
F-4"E" launching from a carrier... Sin +1.
Funny that it is consider a carrier based aircraft in Ace Combat 5 and enforce it not letting you use nom carrier based plane to take off and land.
Olson: "NOW! PULL A U-TURN!"
Mobius 1: "DAMMIT, OLSON, NOT NOW!"
Lmfao
Mobius 3-7. Did one guy just confirm half the squadron
I don't see anything wrong with Ace Combat 04, LOL !!!!
Murdered Yellow 4 in cold blood?
A. It’s war
B. She was an enemy Ace responsible for ISAF casualties
"does Mobius 1 have to prove his skills on the dance floor?"
My thoughts exactly.
DANCE OFF TO SAVE USEA!
The wait was worth it. Now I shall wait for Zero
Aren't we all waiting for Zero?
Aren´t we all waiting for a new Ace combat in general?
Patience is the key... But I've been on the hype train for months now!
RedBaronAce And now we have to wait for EWW Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy. Or EWW Ace Combat 6
Ultima DoombotMK1 I prefer EWW Ace Combat 3 still. And that's gonna take an hour IMAO 😂
1:50 Holy shit, SlyCooperFan1 you never sinned the fact that they're depicting an F-4E taking off from an aircraft carrier. THE F-4E ISN'T CARRIER CAPABLE
21:44 No "I hate sand" reference. :(
23:55 Thats not a helicopter.
Yup. Seems everyone is forgetting that, though the scene is pretty cool.
Then what variant of the F-4 is carrier capable?
I thought all F-4s are fitted w/ hooks?
Zheng Of the Zen The F-4E is carrier capable, da fuq?
F-4A, F-4B, F-4J, F-4K (Phantom FG.1 for the Royal Navy whose scheme is the one Mobius 1's scheme is based on), F-4N and F-4S are the carrier capable ones.
The F-4E wasn't carrier capable. It had a tail hook, but the cannon meant that the already nose-heavy aircraft was now too nose-heavy to take off from a carrier deck
Also a reason why Navy Phantom pilots sometimes didn't strap on Sparrows into the front fuselage missile wells.
I Think that's a Landmark Of Comberth
The Compass Tower
why does a crane moving get a sin? 6:42
Galm Team Leader Because maybe this is the first time seeing a crane moving in the entire game xd
It's not even moving, it's the road behind it.
stonehenge moves... once crashed into it because I just shot it down (in a gun only whim) and got cutscened into it by yellow squadron's arrival ^^
15:10
Actually SCF1, the three shells in the cutscene weren’t a complete waste. They’re meant for the ISAF Air Force detachment approaching Stonehenge from the south. As the cutscene ends, the mission starts and one of the pilots says as the shells will explode soon after. I’m removing a sin due to an error.
*-1 Sin*
Wait, you can fly above 2000 feet during the Stonehenge Assault? Jesus, I feel like an idiot right now..
Fighterpilot555
Actually i think it's half right & half wrong because Stonage can lock-on to you if your altitude was in a good range for their aiming range limit X)
I say that because i was shot down like that before if my memory serves me right X)
To be fair...LIKE HELL any of us wanted to test that theory against that scary ass set of rail guns! XD
You can also get shot below 2000 feet, i think. just stay away from where they're aiming.
Same here.
5:05 - Awww, you missed an easy one! (Hits Yellow Squadron) "Yellow Squadron have plot armour!"
Just as awesome as the EWW AC5 video. The blue 118 sin tally was a special touch.
Did you also notice the yellow 13 sin tally? lol
118 is actually the squadron's number. For Mobius Squadron of course.
There's also a Galm shout-out in the form of a red 66. 13:53 for reference
29:49 Kevin Miller is the ISAF briefing officer voice. Watch a briefing and imagine Sly giving Bentley a slideshow.
-Megalith Agnus Dei starts playing
-Sin count drops down to 118
okay, that one made me laugh hard.
Estimated figures seem to paint the F-22 and B-2 as equals with both achieving very small RCS areas and -40dB.
Also Mobius 1 taking off from a carrier in an F4-E.
I'd love to know Yellow 13's thoughts if he was told this, you think he'd quit flying and try to raise him?
Was going to suggest for Sin 115 (24:35) that the Treaty/Ceasefire could’ve been signed with a delay. This happened in World War 1, where the actual document outlining the Armistice was signed at 5am GMT (6am Local Time). The Document only came into effect at 11am GMT, which meant there was still 6 hours of fighting until the Treaty took effect.
"That's one of ours. Alright, let em have it!"
Never noticed that before XD
That'x the jerk who always eats my sandwich in the break room! BLOW HIM OUTTA DA SKY!
i think the part that the kid wanted to kill yellow 13 would make some sense since he thought that Y13 did it intentionally
"Radio failure" that was good.
i don't like how the cruise missile at 19:20 has self-preservation
It doesn't, it also has a fixed path if you watch it in the debriefing.
@@SlyAceZeta oh I thought i saw it dodge a missile or something.
This was spot on man! And I'm so glad you subtracted a sin for the Hymn of Liberty. Sing along now!
there were Harrier jump jets to shoot down, and some in deep silos to bomb, but I wanted to fly one, and I couldn't, why the fuck why?
Retrospective sin: You can bomb the flagship in Comberth as much as you like, but Torres is going to live and you're still going to have to deal with the Alicorn in AC7.
The captain does HAVE to go down with the ship.
@@jayive34 And what, transform the Tanager into a sub?
Actually, that dog is wearing a Bandanna. The coloration of Khaki on a Gold retriever is surprisingly deceptive.
Was heading to the comments to say great video but then I saw ace combat zero and thought well that's another countdown for the stopwatch :D Seriously though great vid. I never even knew that the Japanese story was slightly different. Keep up the great work :)
22:25 Funnily enough, you don't actually have to destroy the bridge; I got this game recently and finished this level WITHOUT destroying the bridge.
Shoulda sinned when the other mobius squadrons appear, saying HAS SCIENCE GONE TOO FAR?
I never knew about the story being a bit better for the international release because of that change, I think that's awesome!
Most underrated series ever made...
A note about the first failed attack to Stonehenge: the aircrafts are the fastes means to launch air attacks when the front is too extended. The first attack occurred at the beggining of the war but apparently try to reach STN via land was to diffucult if not impossibile.
Great video sly! Also rip yellow 13 who is dead and not coming back.
That's actually a really good explanation for the "Right behind you, heads up!" line, I haven't thought of that before!
As of typing this I have started watching the video, betting that the Shattered Skies mission will cause a roll credits sin
EDIT: Yup.
Edit 2: Again at megalith
TheAveragePxtseryu So too when in EWW ACZ, the joke appears at the Mission 18 splash screen
I just remembered something.
It is a spiritual sequel to Ace Combat 2 as the first and last mission locations are in OPPOSITE order from 2.
Ace Combat 4: Start at North Point...End at Twinkle Island
Ace Combat 2: End at North Point...Start at Twinkle Island
Ace Combat 2: "Are we the baddies?"
best ace combat in the whole series and they haven't made one as good since sadly.
The token black guy was me when a played this a long time ago.
I like how almost every Ace Combat games end the last mission with you flying into a fucking tunnel lol

Our only lord and Saviour Why is The Lord in an AC vid?
did you know there are 3 kinds of aces?
Our only lord and Saviour he should do ace combat 6 it is like the most cheesyest ace combat game
Like really gracemarrya I know that is not how you spell it but gracemarrya is the most original name ever
On the Stonehenge sin. Launching a land invasion against a very advanced air force is not fun particularly when the enemy has an advanced army too
"Dammit Nagase"
The messages on Tango Line do that so that they have a buffer to make room for Stonehenge alerts.
I laughed hard at the return of the dead birds joke at the end. Also fuck that u turn
"I'll try spinning - that's a good trick!"
On Sin 23;
*Friend:* "Radio Failure!"
"But... you... just...
Please don't blame me for your lack of humor 👍 This was a comedy video made for entertainment and nothing else.
SlyCooperFan1 There were definitely parts that made me laugh. It's just hard to laugh when you're criticising something when you're wrong.
You're still claiming that this is a video of criticism. Sure, some of the sins are rooted in that, but this is for comedy's sake above all else.
SlyCooperFan1 Well, what do you expect me to assume when the video is literally called, "Everything Wrong With Ace Combat 04"?
All I'm saying is that I didn't appreciate the lack of effort in some of your jokes.
For someone that's not an NPC you sure are acting like one
After 16 years, I finally know the words to that song. Thanks!
Friendzoned! my daily life! *quietly smolders in anger*
To be fair, you wouldn't really be able to take out Stonehenge with ground forces while the enemy has air support. Then again, air strikes on the enemy airfields could fix that.
i saw sin 66 flash red you better tease us well for zero
So Kevin Miller does Additional voices for some of the possible NPC 's. He doesn't do a specific character.
Also I believe the initial cause for the war besides Erusia taking control of Stonehenge was the astroids that landed 5 years prior to the story. I believe 5 major astroids wiped out a huge portion of Strangereal and the small fragments continue to pummel the continent.
I Believe the raid on Megalith was like the group (A World with no Boundaries) which consists of rouge Erusian soldiers who became terrorists to take revenge against ISAF and Erusia for surrendering.
We shall wait for Zero now.. ACX After Zero? :D
syaondri but they aren't numbered???
I've been fan of ace combat for a long time and these videos had me laughing so hard, thanks
You have no idea how fast I clicked on this
ikr
3:32 Why are the transports heading North West? Comberth Harbor is behind them! The mission location should've been called "South East of Comberth Harbor"!
Also add a sin to SlyCooperFan for putting the X-02 in the thumbnail but the Wyvern is nowhere in the video
Ian Khoo I love Wyvern, sad I never got to actually pilot it in AC4...........
I thought that was an SU-37
I would love to see you rip on Ace Combat Assault Horizon
Here's the BIGGEST thing wrong with AC04: The F-15S/MTD can be shot down.
That's impossible in real life because it's made of pure awesomeness.
..............okay.
If Mobius 1 is flying it, ain't no way in Hell it would be shot down.
NEVER GIVE NUGGETS GOOD PLANES!
Especially a plane that's the best of them all~
Also the x02 could never be shot down in real life because it doesn't exist
Additional sin for calling what is obviously a V-22 Osprey a "helicopter"
I've always seen Megalith's hallways as being sorta like a hospital really, with tiling and panels, and maybe concrete.
The A-10 irl is an incredibly maneuverable aircraft, even if it’s not the fastest, but it can out turn even the F-14 at slow speeds
19:39
“Whoa, what the hell is that?”
*Sky Eye gives you the explanation, which was that it was a spectacular explosion*
“No explanation?”
