Toyota heard us! In this video, we showcase the new OEM recovery hooks for the 3rd Gen Tundra-solving the biggest complaint from owners.

Thanks for posting - now one of the real #1 items - keep the darn engine running after remote start when doors opening. And then there's that engine thing :-)
Lol the number 1 complaint on a 3rd gen tundra would be the engines blowing up, or the seats cracking, or the excessive wind noise, or the poor fuel economy for ditching the v8. Tow hooks are not the number one issue.
Is this standard or optional?
please confirm; If truck has a basic skid plate or TRD aluminum one, the auto air dam is not included on the truck?
Is the replacement fascia part of the kit?
You think that the Number One complaint is the absence of Recovery Hooks? You are kidding, right?
The Number One problem is crankshaft bearing!! I bought a 2024 Tundra 1794, specifically because the Tundra Recall Notice for crankshaft bearings specified only the 2022 and 2023. The Toyota Dealer explicitly stated to me that the crankshaft bearing problem was fixed for 2024. He was under-informed or lying. As a long time Toyota owner, I believed that Toyota would not still be selling an engine two years after a significant problem was identified. Subsequent to my purchase I learned that the 2024s are blowing up, just like the 2023/2022s, and now there are reports of 2025's blowing up, and reports of the replaced engines blowing up!
I unloaded the 2024 Tundra at a significant loss - five days after buying it. I don't like roulette. I feel that both the Toyota Dealer and the Toyota Corporation screwed me.
Instead of focusing on reliability in engineering and manufacturing, Toyota has focused on complicated, expensive and increasingly absurd trim items. Complexity is the enemy of reliability.
I am done with Toyota.
A great Care Care Nut analysis of the bearing problem:

Four years of documented Tundra engine failure:

Can you share some install pics? I want to see if the mounting points would interfere with the light bar I have behind the lower grill.
UA-cam doesn't really have a way to add photos in the comments section. But I do have them if you need them. my email is esarjeant@edmartin.com, send me a message
I clicked on this because I honestly thought it was going to be about how all 2025 Tundras come with colour matched grille surrounds instead of chrome.
That’s an easy fix too
Curious, has the engine issues been resolved. I like the looks of the truck but...
late 2023 to today has. been resolved
Turning radius is near the top of the list!
