  • Be transported to luxury the moment you step into this residence! A sleek private key-fob elevator whisks you to your front door, setting the stage for the grandeur that awaits. As you enter, you're greeted by soaring 12-foot ceilings overhead, bathing the space in an abundance of natural light through three 9-foot-tall windows.
But that's just the beginning! Step into the expansive, square-shaped, sun-kissed, south-facing living room. Every detail exudes elegance and refinement, from the custom molding that adorns the walls to the rich oak floors beneath your feet, enveloping you in a sense of warmth and sophistication that's truly palpable.
The seamless transition from the living room to the dining area invites you to effortlessly play host to gatherings both intimate and grand.
Indulge in the opulence of heated floors as you step into your chef's kitchen! Dressed in Calacatta marble and accented with bespoke millwork and acid-washed mirrors, this culinary haven leaves no detail overlooked. Equipped with a garbage disposal, breakfast bar, pull-out pantry, Subzero refrigerator, wine fridge, Gaggenau range, and Gaggenau dishwasher, every element is designed to elevate your cooking experience to new heights.
Discover your private sanctuary within the bedrooms, nestled at the tranquil rear of the building. The king-sized primary suite beckons with its own secluded terrace, offering a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Indulge in luxury within the en-suite master bath, boasting a lavish 6-foot soaking tub, a separate stall shower, and wainscoted walls adorned in Italian porcelain tile.
And convenience meets elegance with California closets in both bedrooms, providing ample storage space to keep your haven organized and serene.
Centrally located near Madison Square Park, Gramercy Park, and Flatiron, The Parkwood Condominium is a custom-designed, boutique prewar, 1913 Beaux-Arts loft building. Completely renovated in 2006 with interiors by Alan Tanksley, the building features urban glamour inspired by the craftsmanship of old yet fitted for today's modern living. The building has a full-time concierge, video security, a common roof deck, and one unit per floor with a private key-locked elevator.

I don't get it. For someone who has that kind of money to spend, are they really just going to accept the present interior decoration? Surely they'd want to make their own statement on the place, even gut a lot of it?
