    Awesome
Bought me 1000se used and now understand how the stop can help maintain proper measurements.

This is so awesome. I never would have figured this out with the instructions! Incra should send you a bunch of money and free product.

Good lord I can’t thank you enough. Awesome explanation and you cleared up something I couldn’t get over. I kept starting with getting the fence to clear not just at 90, but throughout the whole rotation. Then I’d go to zero the Shop Stop at 90 degrees after having moved my fence way too far from the blade. I had to have my shop stop hanging off the end to zero. Was stumped. Thank you.

Bought the Incra V27 from Amazon. They just chucked it in a box with no padding. Plastic had fallen off etc. so delicate tools try a good source.

Good video, thanks. This is a nice miter gauge. Have a hard time believing they couldnt get around using the screwdriver every time you need to adjust the fence. Kind of a hassle.

Echo Chris’ comments. Now I know how to set up the incra miter ... doing my research ahead of my goodies arriving

Thank you for sharing this video. It certainly has simplified calibrating the miter. Instead of keeping setup blocks, could you just calibrate for any angle as you do at the 3-minute mark for zero?

I'm not seeing how the 5" is set by the stop block being set at 5" from the end of the tape if the tape isn't at zero right at the blade. It seems to me that to get a 5" cut by using the stop block and tape on top of the fence you would have to have the tape right at the blade.

The tape doesn't have to be exactly at zero, only the stop block that the wood is against. This threw me at first. If you think about it, the stop bloc is set to 0, then he uses the micro adjuster to move it to where it just "kisses" the blade. Now when you move the block bag 5 inches according to the tape, there is EXACTLY 5 inches of gap.

Do they sell the gold part by itself? i accidentally touched it to the blade. Didn't ruin it but I can't stand looking at my mistake every time I get it out.

Don’t matter how great any tool may be, it’s just too much of a hassle to have to use another piece of tool to make simple adjustments. For what they’re asking for these things they need to come up with a better solution, IMO.

Was it me or it started to become a pain in the arse to be setting the miter to zero every single time??
    Thanks for the video

It is but I found it best to cut a few setup blocks at my most use angles, and then just drop them in place and move the miter bar up the saw blade. My setup blocks are 5” with one end cut on the angle.

Need for improving lighting and the ability to see where adjustments are being made at. Verbal information seemed to be informative but visual terrible. Zero and adjusting the length to angle was cover more
