I just released plans on my new website! The plans are for the Project shown in this video ua-cam.com/video/UrOoHZH3lL8/v-deo.html
I have one and really appreciate it's accuracy and versatility.
💯
LOL at the Bow Chica Wow Wow soundtrack after the "...reduce friction for a smoother glide."
😉
Thanks for the video for getting this setup.
You're very welcome! Glad it helped!
Congrats on the job you picked up. I bought a earlier version of this product about 20 years ago. I use a home made sled for square cuts, but I still pull this out for all angles. It is easy to set up, and very accurate. It is so good I only use my compound miter saw for rough cuts!
Sweet! Thanks for the confirmation!
Came for the review. Stayed to support that you are getting gigs for doing videos and woodworking. Not easy at all.
Welcome Charlez! And thanks for your support!
Hello, I watch a lot of UA-cam video and you're probably the first one i've ever subscribed to. Nice video.
Wow, thanks!
Hey mate, enjoyed your video and presentation, helpful, easy to understand and in a pleasant manner, subscribed from Australia 👍🇦🇺
G'day mate, great to hear from you. I love that I have viewers from around the world! Glad I could help. And thanks for the kind words!

Absolutely Excellent Video! I have just purchased my EXPRESS for my BOSCH T4000 Saw and I have watched your video to install it which says a lot about how good video is. I am currently waiting for my HD Miter Gauge.
Why didn't you invest in the HD model instead?😎
Thanks for the props! I love UA-cam University! There's nothing you can't learn...
I may upgrade at some point. One thing at a time.
Thanks for keeping UA-cam awesome!
I am now on Instagram too! Come follow me there for more behind the scenes stuff. @BrettsBasementWoodshop
You should run the sled with auxillary fence you should continue through to push the off cut past the blade and splitter so that the off cut does get thrown from the table saw. This can happen easily with small off cuts. I'm referencing the 17:35 part of the video..
Right you are!
I haven't seen anyone using the miter express with the blade tilted for angled cuts. Any thoughts on how to use it that way? Even the installation manual only focuses on the blade set at 90 degrees?
In the project I’m currently working on I used the Incra sled to make compound angle cuts and it works great for that. No damage to the base of the sled because it tilts away from the bottom. And it’s absolutely essential to have a sacrificial fence on the miter gauge to make that cut so you can line up the cut accurately. You just inspired me to make that follow up video! 👍🏼😁
The rest of Incra's line is the best too.
Why did you make that sacrificial fence? I'm assuming so you can keep material closer to the mitre?
Great question! It helps with a few things.
1) It makes it easier to clamp the workpiece to the sled
2) It gives me a zero clearance through cut on the fence for very accurate cut lines. And
3) It pushes the off cut past the blade to reduce the chances of kickback
Does this work on your job site? I have the dw7491, and the 1000 fits on it, but not sure if the sled does
I haven't used it on my jobsite saw, but I'm sure it would work. Different saws have different distances from the miter slot to the blade. So whichever saw you choose, the drop panel and sled will be custom fit to that saw.
Hi Brett, you assembled the boards on the large plate incorrectly. Look closer at the directions. You are off by one hole on the utility plate. The boards to the left and right should be moved back toward you by one hole. You are shorting yourself on blade to miter fence distance.
Thanks for the keen eye! I’ll fix that.
