I have the Miter sled combo - long story short is I was going to buy tracks and everything i needed to make my own sled and discovered that they (Incra) have a very very fine sled indeed - already create just need to assemble it. Works very well and highly more accurate than building a sled.
On the 1000se actuator there are 4 holes, 1 has the plastic threaded screw that locks down the vernier. What are the other 3 for? On the one in the video they are threaded, mine are just blank holes. There is also a notch on the right hand upper part of the actuator, does it have a purpose? Seems to me that if there was no purpose to it they wouldn't have made it that way, since they could have just used an actuator like the HD version.

It’s about time they go tool-less for adjusting!!!
Except you go have to use a tool to readjust the fence.
