i hear ya on the DGD stuff. I think once we get a new album with Andrew on cleans I'll start getting back into DGD myself. I think its a time/album distance thing.
After following the Tilian allegations pretty closely, it's become pretty clear that they were all kinda bullshit, but the subreddit can't let it go. There was only one allegation that had some truth to it, and after Tilian shared some of the extra details about it of Finn's podcast a few months back, I can safely say that he's fine. I do think he fucked up. He clearly had some commutation issues with her, but he also said that they continued to date for quite a while after that night and he genuinely didn't know he did anything that bothered her. This is the type of stuff that'll happen to tons of people behind closed doors. She gave consent because he was being pushy, but he only went through with it because she gave consent. It's just not something the internet needed to know about. As for Tilian leaving the band, according to recent livestreams and interviews, the band knew the allegations weren't true and didn't have a problem trying to keep him in the band. He actually got kicked out halfway through the last tour because he was causing problems and they were done putting up with him. It had nothing to do with creative differences. Tilian said that when he returned from rehab and therapy, the band were expecting that he'd have a lot of his issues fixed, and were unhappy that he was apparently still pretty dysfunctional. There was clearly a lot of bad shit that happened between him and the band behind the scenes during that last tour, and they said enough is enough. Tilian said there wasn't even talks of going heavier and that if everything was functioning well within the band, creative differences wouldn't have been a problem. He also mentioned that when his alcoholism got really bad around when Afterburner dropped, he became miserable to be around and says there are things he said to the other band members that still haunt him. So clearly he's got some issues, but he's currently in therapy and seems to be getting better. Hope all goes well for everyone involved.
This year I only listened to DGD, and others like emarosa, a lot like birds, it was just these and other irrelevant bands., 2025 I will give chances to eidola, royal coda and among others, 2025 will be the cool year of experience.

You probably know them because of DGD links but if you don't I would recommend A lot like birds. Their second and third albums are amazing
