- Hello Nyob Zoo All!
Chili oil is eaten and loved all over the world. I wanted to share with you all my mom's chili oil recipe. It's so easy yet SO MOUTH DROOLING ADDICTING. It's the chili oil I love to put on all my noodle soups, dumplings, stir fry, eggs, etc. It's amazing on lots of different dishes. This chili oil is on the mild side. So if you want this extra spicy, you have the flexibility to do so. So give it a try and see if this one is up your taste buds.

About Cindy
My Name is Cindy Her, I am a full time Pastry Chef in the Pacific Northwest and part time food content creator for C.HerCreations (C.HawjCreations). I specifically focus on Hmong food I grew up eating but I also venture into other South East Asian food as well.
As a second generation Hmong American woman, my goal is to teach you what Hmong people love to eat, what we cook, how we cook it, how it has evolved, and how we enjoy it. I want you to learn a little bit more about the Hmong food culture and I hope you all stay tuned on this culinary adventure with me. As always, happy cooking :)

OMGoodness. This recipe is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing a family recipe. Unfortunately i cant find Thai chilli in Calgary, Alberta (Canada) so I have to make do with what I can find at my local KMart (I just LOVE when it’s time to go there for more supplies). I started making this earlier last year and gave my neighbour a small bottle. Fast forward to now and I’ve been doubling the recipe every couple of months as we’ve all shamelessly become obsessed. Your videos are a wonderful homage to your family and heritage and I really enjoy watching them. And can I just say- your Mom, and Grandmother are amazing cooks. It’s so wonderful to see these family recipes and traditions passed on to you. ❤️🇨🇦
I made it followed your recipe I love it.

Could you show us various chili pepper dipping sauces? I always taste these herbs in people’s chili sauces and I can’t make out what they’re putting in theirs. Sooo good though.
I haven't done lemon grass before. I also like to add ginger, sesame seeds and a pinch of sugar
Thank you very much 😊
Thank you! Shallots are hard to find where I live.. what can I use instead?
Good
lovely,,,,,,,,,
Love♥️
🤤🤤
I'm trying to start my own youtube food channel - Ming Ming's Kitchen! I like your videos!
I made some yesterday! The flavor is so good!!! I think I got the wrong chilies though. It’s not as spicy as I was hoping. Maybe it’ll spice up as it soaks.
Either way, thank you for sharing!
The chili oil is normally not spicy, it’s just more for flavoring. I have never had spicy chili oil.
Oh! Ok. Well in that case I did it right. The flavor is amazing!!!!
@@Gurlhmong really?? I've had spicy and it's super yummy
Please tell your mom thank you for sharing all of her recipes with us through you. 🥰
😋😋😋
Yummy😂😂😂😊😊😊
Oh wow lemongrass that's different can I use avocado oil will that evaporate the oil? I'm definitely making this thanks mom ! ❤
Yes you can use avocado oil
With the lemongrass...did you use the whole lemongrass or just the inner white bit? @C.Hercreations thanks for the recipe.
The bottom white part of the lemongrass.
Are those orange tree s behind you in your garden
Chopped finely fried ginger, chopped garlic, red chilli flakes, chopped green onion. Stir fried with seasoning : old light soy sauce (bean taste), sugar, salt
I’ve searched quite a few recipes so far, this one is my favorite. I’m still confused a bit though…. People are freaking out online about water in the garlic/shallots and having the finished product sit on the counter. Personally I don’t think it’s an issue at all. Ty!!!
Just make sure to cook out the water content in the garlic and shallots or else it will create mold as it sits on the counter.
Can you tell me where you got the wooden paddle to stir the ingredients while cooking. Thanks.
My grandpa made it for me :)
Naic good video ilove❤
I’d add peanuts and sesame seeds
🥰😋🙌
Can you use peanut oil

😊🎉❤❤️🧡💯😋💙💜
What’s lemon grass
What about the minced lemongrass ? Did you forget to add those ?
♥️❤️🧡💖🤍🤎🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Did You know that salt doesn't melt inside this at all?? 😊 I had to scrape it from the bottom of the pot with teaspoon 😊 btw oil taste and smell is fantastic 😎
I do know that. Always good idea to mix it well before using 🙂
