  • Hello to Fall!!
I wanted to share with you all my mom's AMAZING pork crackling chili oil crisp she makes for us to put into our soups and so much more. It's so flavorful, spicy, crunchy, and packed full of deliciousness. The crunchy little bits of pork crackling in each bite when you put it in your soups/congee is pure heaven. So I hope you give this one a go and happy cooking. :)
I WILL NOT or DO NOT intend to sell jars of them. This recipe is here for you so you can go give it a go!

    About Cindy
My Name is Cindy Her, I am a full time Pastry Chef in the Pacific Northwest and part time food content creator for C.HerCreations (C.HawjCreations). I specifically focus on Hmong food I grew up eating but I also venture into other South East Asian food as well.As a second generation Hmong American woman, my goal is to teach you what Hmong people love to eat, what we cook, how we cook it, how it has evolved, and how we enjoy it. I want you to learn a little bit more about the Hmong food culture and I hope you all stay tuned on this culinary adventure with me. As always, happy cooking :) -Cindy Her [C.HerCreations]

Hello, I know this video is two months old. What is the name of the citrus tree behind you (or is it a citrus)? Is it planted in a pot or ground. I would greatly appreciate any information. I know you are in Canada? I am in Seattle with similar weather to yours and would like to try some citrus trees on the ground next year. Thank you so much

Chiles and lemongrass together? Many jeow/nam prik in SE Asian cooking employ this combo....

Szechusn peppercorn is not the same as black peppercorn. You should try it

@@stickyricepapaya Yes... szechuan pepper used a lot in Yunnan province... original Hmong homeland before Laos.

Szechuan peppercorn gives the citric flavor and numbness. It’s different from black peppercorns. Btw, some southern Thai curry use black peppercorns and lemongrass.
