I don't claim to be right, but I am a deep HSP person. I see and experience suffering in most modern people. Most people live in severe self-denial. Everything we do goes against nature's balance, harmony and order. Modern society is created by theorists from universities. This society is not made for man. We live in a castrated matriarchal mental hospital. There are no limits anymore. Everything is allowed. And that's called progress. My way out of this is an internal struggle. Hard strength training. Deep regular meditation. Cold water shower every morning. Fasting. Literature and trying to keep my mind in order and avoid ordinary predictable people. I ride the tiger. Everything is a lie. Society is sick, but life is a gift.

Life has always been brutal, dysfunctional, ugly and unpleasant We find beauty and become beautiful by going through the dirty sandpaper of ordinary existence. Forget your internal struggle. The real struggle is in getting up and subjecting your soul to the battle of finding glory in the mundane of every day existence.
And I say this as someone who has adventured across oceans under sail, survived storms and shipwreck, traveled dozens of countries, competes in strength sports and is raising a family. Your quest for meaning will not be found in cold water showers, meditation and shunning the awful world of broken people and evil elitists... you find meaning by facing all of it down through constant exposure.

No i don't agree. Just having children will not necessarily bring meaning to your life. I mean that will just limit us to just being some animals whose entire purpose is to pass on their genes. Like there are so many people who lead a nhilistic life and stay depressed after a marriage and having children. In my opinion (bcz i've read a book or two on hindu and buddhist and Jain philosophy) true meaning or a desire to live comes from a selfless act in which you do something great for the people around you and don't ask for anything in return.

The man becomes concerned with their future and not his own. However, community is just as important for their children’s future and I think many X-Gen are realizing this (probably Xenials). I think you would be surprised how many are seeking to build separate communities. Young men will be needed. There is hope. Not in the city though.

It is a shame that young men keep falling for this rhetoric, only to be used as a meat shield in a needless war. 99% of men aren't "that guy", the brave heroic ideal that you paint out. Find meaning in conquering the wilderness or solving the world's problems, not in fighting and conflict in the name of "masculinity". You can have a tribe/community that isn't based around conflict with others. There are so many problems in this world that we need strong and intelligent young men to fix.

Currently, with the mishmash of incompatible communities where everyone lives to survive another day while being apprehensive of each other is a pointless life.

As long as we exist in a society which is robbing the future to provide just enough temporary comfort and distraction, we will lack any true sense of meaning and purpose. Agree with everything you've said. The answer is not politics in the usual sense. In an ideal world, politics is for the local, city-state level. Government above the city state level should be for limited, large-scale uses, such as defense, enforcement of laws related to basic human rights and protection of nature. I agree: it is inevitable that we return as humans to our roots - to nature, tribe, religion and all the things that once gave life meaning and which technology encouraged us to forget about.

In it, he said something that's when I read for the first time thirty years ago or more Puzzled me a little bit. He said that in order to be happy you have to learn to be bored sometimes. I am a pretty passionate guy. Former skydiver, I went to harvard, I ride four horses every day, but still we have to learn some peace and quiet. I totally buy the idea of the compounds without the rivalry with neighboring groups. Many cities in europe Are actually Sort of small towns. Like in scandinavia, you can have many communities of two thousand people. Pretty self governing in many ways too. But we have to come to terms with human life having no ulterior meaning and be fine with it.

The video was very interesting and I think most points are true, but I have a few objections and I'd like to add a thing or two.
    - I think you beat around the bush for most of the video. I am convinced that the emptiness of modern society results in the alienation and hostility between men and women which is due to feminism which is just part of some bigger gender-revolution against normal people lead by academics and the usual suspects of the usual political side.
    - I highly doubt that religion or "spirituality" is important or will help anyone with a functioning brain. You won't ever convince anyone besides helpless miserable people and boomers to believe in religions. And you don't need to. Having a family, friends and a inspirational job or a mission is enough for most people. You need a raison d'etre for yourself that's not bound to other people. Religion is just collectivism like Communism.

I believe, that much like any historic struggle, this is ours. We have to cure our minds before any meaningful change may occur. People, men and women, must stop consuming these meaningless things; sports, junk food, comics, video games, all modern entertainment.
You have hit the nail on the head. That which matters, is already available to us. We must nurture these God given fruits; family, friends, and our communal relationships. Clearly, this is being attacked by the powers at be. They want you alone, isolated, and dependent. Stop partaking as much as you can, in modern, urban society. Spend more time with family, and friends. Find an outlet, in which you can express yourself, I believe everyone has something to teach one another. Create your own culture, and stop partaking in this post modern nonsense.
I know everything is pitted against us, the job market, the financial system, the dating pool. Voting won’t fix it, hitting the gym won’t fix it, more consumption will not fix it. We must cure our minds, and do not give up.

We do need to make tribes and communities. But I would say this calls for a reorganization of our government entirely. Especially in the U.S. We need to reward, and allow, people to come together and stop forcing masses of people from their youth to the end of their adolescence into 12 years of industrial indoctrination. We need to stop the 40 hour workweek. We need to come together on the individual scale so we can change Systems. I don’t think the world is doomed, but it will be soon unless we revolutionize the way we communicate with eachother. I think we need centralization for equality. We need centralization before tribalization because there have been so many groups of people that have been controlled and abused, slavery and the overproduction for all of The United States since the Industrial Revolution, racism and xenophobia have been hallmarks of this nation Nation.
Basically, I agree, we need tribes, because they have been destroyed by centralization. But Centralization originates from tribes coming together. Flawed tribes, flawed people in places of Power. We centralize to make life better, and it gets better; we live in safer conditions today than ever throughout history. But individuals took too much power during the centralization process. During the Industrial Revolution, Businesses and owners (tribes and leaders) took advantage of large groups(tribes) of different people. The few rich and educated began their political campaigns or wrote novels and news. Flash to today and the same families who were in power are today. We need centralization to a certain extent, to ascend as a Whole Humanity, but we need to centralize under means other than Working our lives away. We need to believe each individual we see is full of infinite potential. Maybe share some camaraderie in this wild mess of a world we’ve created

Imo, and experience, labor is a key part of neighborhood-type community. Whether its machine or hand, whichever neighbor has what's needed he/she should rise up. One still must take care of themselves first but soon after should look for neighbor in need and/or be ready when time comes. No flaking-out. Once in motion, so many things -just work out. Its divine.
I think city communities simply have a block party/meet&greet, then return to same thing they had the days before.
That's oversimplified and not constant but overall, its what I've witnessed. Sadly, also I've witnessed most people empowering leaders to fix things. Seems like past 90 yrs or so. I've little faith your gen will do different but I pray I'm wrong.

there is no 'masculine comradery and bonding'. other men will always be your competition, and they always have been historically. on the rare occasion you can find good friends and comrades, but that is always the exception. wanting to live in a world where you HAVE to die for a 'greater cause', i.e. someone's desire for power and an inevitable struggle for survival, is delusional and pathetic. yes, it is good to embrace struggle and even challenge yourself when challenges seem absent, but devolving into an even more primal and violent human form is not the solution. there is a lot of 'fullness' around - things to create, things to consume, ideas to share and optimism to embrace - there will always be something for you. art, the food of the soul, is more accessible than ever; is that overwhelming? yes, so find your niche(s).
