    Risk is only warranted when there is something worth the risk to gain. No one puts themselves in danger unless there is some possible reward for doing so.
    On the other hand, risks can be fun like gambling on horses or in a casino -- but there's always the chance of winning. The soldier's reward is getting the enemy before they get him.

    "The soul is dyed the color of its thoughts. Think only on those things that are in line with your principles and can bear the light of day. The content of your character is your choice. Day by day, what you choose, what you think, and what you do is who you become. Your integrity is your destiny ... it is the light that guides your way." - Heraclitus, the Nietzsche before Nietzsche.

    Yes I have the same critique of Nietzsche (because we need Metaphysics)which is why I supplement him with Evola. But both are great!

    Not to seem weird, just want to encourage you in some way; I literally wrote notes and took them to prayer today and I came across this video afterwards and the content and even the title were direct references to things I said in prayer. You have been used. You are known. Thx

    If one lives according to Nietzsche's ideas that physical and mental enlightenment are a consequence of one's own actions, one becomes ostracized in today's society. Fit shaming is a reality that I experience almost every day. I no longer wear t-shirts, and if someone asks me what I did on my weekend, I no longer talk about the wonderful bike rides I took or my training for this or that cycling race. If you want to live in peace (and be left alone), you have to do it without telling anyone, because our society is so sick. To use Nietzschean terms, we are masters surrounded by slaves.

    • @TheAlphaEntity
      @TheAlphaEntity 3 місяці тому +4

      If you have to hide what you’re doing from others then I wouldn’t say you’re living in peace. Don’t shy away from telling people the great things you are doing because they are afraid to take chances and pursue a better life for them selves. Most people are stuck in a psychological prison reflected in the mirror of other people’s opinions. Break the mirror of their opinions my friend. Dare to be different.

      I think it's more fun, surrounded by people. Some people hate you, some are jealous of you, some trying to manipulate you , some like you and some love you. Isn't it a fun game with different characters? I like to live in the middle of this chaos .. Just play this life like a game, don't take it seriously as no one gets out alive@@kalleandersson916

    Sidenote: The world has turned because so many men became obsessed with themselves. This whole video is about the self.
    However, most men are so focused on pleasing the state, their family and their "wife" that they totally lost touch with themselves.

    A critique of your last point: to walk the "true path" and become one's self, you still must overcome yourself, and it must become a way of being, or you will stray.

    I've watched a few of these videos, after stumbling upon the ones about ownership and citizenship which were a bit more... 'Concrete' ? I guess. And so, despite being about abstract concepts.
    But there is a big split in these videos about philosophy which sound more like the usual pseudo-porn for the so-called disinfranchised young men who thrive in the redpill communities. Leeching off of all these calls to action, and 'sigma male' BS, the usual "he is so just like me frfr" shenanigans. I suppose it makes for a great business model, huh.

    Society remains in equilibrium when a certain amount of people(the majority) are playing/live safe, while a small percentage of people are fighting for some ideas/live dangerously. The same goes for conservative and innovative people, traditionalists and liberals, etc. We can't demand everyone to be the same, unless we wanna build some ugly anti-utopia.
    Originally from Eastern Europe, I've lived in Asia and North America and can say that I like neither of the ways their societies are being run.
    I totally get where are you coming from, but still find hard to understand how you value Christian traditions on par with Nietzsche's ideas about an Übermensch. Unless you support a lil bit of one and a lil bit of another.

    • @069bizeps
      @069bizeps 3 місяці тому

      I think it's an error to understand the so called 'Ubermensch' as a formula to destroy all traditions.
      It's just that you (or for that matter 'the Ubermensch') should question and evaluate ALL existing rules and taboos that society imposes on you.
      If they're good and fit your beliefs, perfect!
      But if you assess them as bad and wrong, you should pursue other truths and ways instead of following the existing morality like a coward.

    I really appreciate your critque at the end.
    My biggest issue with Nietzsche as a philosopher is that he throws the baby out with the bath water when it comes to Tradition and Ancient Wisdom. The Greeks, Romans, and later Christians didn't think of these Moral codes, Laws, and spiritual principles of how the to interact with the world out of nowhere. Especially in the case of Judeochristianity, it stems from multiple centuries of what was essentially trial and error which you can see unfold throughout the Bible.
    In a sense, when you reach what Nietzsche thought to be "the ultimate end", your gonna be like Willy Coyote when he caught the Road Runner. You're gonna look around and ask "What now?"
