I liked for the dog. I’ve got 2 black German shepherds. I clicked just for the dragy runs. I’ve built a turbo ls 72 El Camino. Best 1/8 mile is 8.26@ 94.5 mph so far. Mickey Thompson et steets. 9 pounds of boost.
All that work and you didn't get rid of the drum brakes? If you're worried about keeping the Fox track width, Richard at North Racecars can help out. He makes caliper brackets (V6/GT or Cobra) that work with Fox-length Yukon axles. Buy some pre-bent lines and hoses from Maximum Motorsports, change the master cylinder, and you're dialed in.
Greetings! How does that rear tire compare to a drag radial tire? I don't know how often or where you drive the car so that makes a big difference. Also, did you consider a rear end diff girdle when you did the upgrade? Great video as always. You just need to get some traction without breaking other parts. 😏
Agreed! Traction is king! 🤣. And I'm lacking in that department as per usual 😅. I can't imagine they are anywhere close to as good as drag radials. These are all season radials because I do like to drive in the winter some. Thanks for the kind comment and thanks for watching!!
