Looks great, thanks for the shout out my friend. The cinematic of the new wheels really shows them well. I can also vouche that atleast on my 92 I still run the quads if anyone was wondering.
Looks GREAT Matt!! And yes the 91-93 fenders do have a slightly bigger opening. But it is only in the portion that's in front of the tire below the mouldings. From all the ones I've measured, that was the only difference I found.
Wow I'm impressed the makers wheel look so much better!! The maker wheel setup fills in the wheel wells perfect and looks much more tucked!! Looks great!!!🔥🔥
Matt, I do love the new wheels and rims set up. I thought I had been absent, but tonight playing "catch up" I see that you posted this video 8 weeks ago. I was so relived to see you and Mrs. Tiffany. I hope everything is alright. Keep doing what you do.
New wheels &tires look great. I appreciate the content as always. FYI, I have used fox resto for my interior panel hardware on my’86. Thanks for turning me on to them😊
@@93MysticFox It's an 88. It was the Smoking Tires car. You can see more info on that car in his video here: ua-cam.com/video/W8TYfB8BUUo/v-deo.htmlsi=iYIs4vebl2F0Ey-v
Great new look, some 18 in. wheels look really good on foxes, but some not so much, depending on the wheels. Really love the offset look, and the way it fills in the wheel well. Matt you knocked this out of the park on this set.
I got actual 93 Cobra wheels on my 89 GT pictured and I was waiting for a review on these Makers reimagined cobras I'm thinking about going with chrome...can't wait to get my set!
Awesome video. The car looks great! It looks meaner! Yeah, I'm sure you already have a bunch of comments on this, but the only thing about the '91 and up front fenders is that the wheel lip has been rolled. That's it. Not really that much more room, but the lip edge won't catch the tires as you turn.
they look great, and particularly well on your car! I love the slight concave that the Makers wheels have compared to the flat look of the OEM/LMR 93 Cobra wheels
Matt you have to keep in mind that, what makes this wheels look way better and aggressive is not the fact that they’re 18”. the reason they look way better is because the more CONCAVE they gave to the wheel and that, combined with a great offset and extra inch in zize!!!
I lucked on a set of original cobra wheels. With the offset/backspacing, I had spacers on the front, with coilovers, and rubbed the rears on hard turns. Original cobra front rotors fixed them, 88 Turbo-coupe rear fixed the rears, I wanted 4 wheel disc anyway. It's the white feature car and the wheels were already painted white when I got them so the car looks original-ish. I measured ride height and set it there after coil-overs.The17's help fill the wheel wells I don't scrape either. The repro cobras would have been easier, until the Turbo-coupe rear.
Hey bud!! Definately liking the new look! Looks more tucked and lower now!👍 Cant wait to see them in person! And as always.... Luvin them bloopers!!😜😜😂🤣
Car looks great sir! Don't worry about that little rear gap as it is likely gone when you add passengers. Have your wife take a picture of the car while you are in it and gap will be gone. Huge difference and congrats.
Matt finally got to watch this video been super busy moving... Anyhow man it looks killer I love the way they have the concave look it makes them look like they're just huge like dished almost super fat lookin in the back too & definitely fills up those wheel wells. There's a lot of differences that you pointed out and they are definitely worth it in my opinion and they just look super clean!
I also was thinking when you started your car up and every time I've heard you started it starts so fast it barely turns over before it fires it seems like do you have like a aftermarket ignition setup on it or is it just gifted like that to where it fires quickly it's really noticeable compared to many foxes never heard them fire off so quick...
Are they the same color? Could I get away with putting 17 inch LMR’s in the front and 18 inch makers in the back are they that close and color where they would match?
Greetings Matt!! It's been a while. The stance is great, and the wheel well is filled out much better! Don't know if I would spend the money for the same design wheel, but since you did, I'll enjoy it!!!!
I have 93 17" cobras I got in 1998 from a buddy. Still rocking them, but love what Makers Garage has done. Only other wheel I would get! Impressive interpretation. They made it look right!
They look great! I see that the Makers wheel’s fins look longer than the stock ones and that’s why the wheels look bigger. Do they make other 4 lug wheels?
JMO but I like the LMRs better than the Makers. I think it’s the outer part of the rim being rounded and beveled Vs the flat OEM look of the LMRs. The Makers ones are really nice, don’t get me wrong but for me the OEM look wins.
Why Upgrade?!?! Bcuz We Could All Use An Extra Inch!! I'll Stick With My OG OEM '93 Cobra Wheels That My Buddy Sold Me For $250 Tho. I Wish I Woulda Bought The Chrome Set He Had Too!!
For anyone who wanted to ask, I'm not selling the old wheels and tires......unless you want to pay me $3,000 or better for them that is 😁
Looks great, thanks for the shout out my friend. The cinematic of the new wheels really shows them well. I can also vouche that atleast on my 92 I still run the quads if anyone was wondering.
Thank you buddy! It was your constant posts all around IG that made me finally cave lol
I’m rarely impressed with aftermarket wheels but Makers hit all the marks for me. It was blast being there and be a part of the swap!
I couldn't agree with you more San and thanks again for the assist, especially the lug nuts!
Looks GREAT Matt!!
And yes the 91-93 fenders do have a slightly bigger opening. But it is only in the portion that's in front of the tire below the mouldings. From all the ones I've measured, that was the only difference I found.
Thanks Trinity, good to know! And I'm glad you like the new wheels.
Looks great Matt! Definitely gives it a more aggressive look!
Wow I'm impressed the makers wheel look so much better!! The maker wheel setup fills in the wheel wells perfect and looks much more tucked!! Looks great!!!🔥🔥
The makers wheels are so much cleaner....wow! Worth every penny!
Couldn't agree more
Jason makes great pieces. He’s a hell of a designer that’s for sure. Him and I are talking about a set for my notch maybe.
Agreed, great dude. Go for it, your notch will thank you LOL
I love those wheels
I should have done it a long time ago Kyle. Thanks.
They look great Matt! Welcome to the club! Makers-Garage killed it with those wheels.
I want some for my 94! Yes it is big coin for us Canadians! CANADIAN SUPERMAN APPROVES
I like the makers version a lot. That’s how the cobra rims were supposed to look! Car looks great by the way!
I totally agree! Thank you
Those Makers look outstanding!
Hey Chet! Thanks, I agree.
Matt, good video. Wheels and car looks awesome! Great choice with the Makers wheels! Happy to see a new video from ya!
PuzzleFox! Thanks man, I'm really happy with them.
CONGRATS MATT! They are so modern and fresh! Bet you they would be pretty big coin to get them into C A N A D A !
Thanks buddy! I think we need to make everything easier for our Canadian friends.

I really like these!!! My 2002 ROUSH had 18s... 265/35/18 & 295/35/18
Getting closer to that on a FOX 🦊 I'd love that!
I just bought a Fox that has 295/18 all around square

Great comparison video and I love the color of your Mustang, it's been my favorite since I was young.
Looks great! I have an 89 vert GT and am considering doing this as well. Any loss of performance w the bigger wheels (vs stock)? Thx
I think they look amazing and the bigger wheel does make it look more aggressive. Worth the money.
Thanks, I agree!
Looks 100% better than the LMR wheels! Congrats on the new wheels!
Looks good Matt, congrats
So similar yet so different. Car looks fantastic!
Right! It's almost subtle but not really, lol. Thanks Tim!

I agree with you Paul, I was always more of a 17 guy, but man these really did make the difference in this case. Thanks buddy!
Bro the Fox looks sic! 🔥🔥
I think the difference is night and day! 💯 I appreciate this video because I was always curious about the difference! 👊🏾
Thanks, I thought this was a really good way to compare them.

One of my all-time favorite wheels I was thinking about getting a set for my SN95
they look great, and particularly well on your car! I love the slight concave that the Makers wheels have compared to the flat look of the OEM/LMR 93 Cobra wheels
That's a good point and not something I had pointed out on video but thought about as well.
They look so much better imo the dimensions are more proportional and they look a lot more aggressive 🔥🔥🔥
Couldn't agree more on all counts! Thanks
It really fills out the wheel well a lot better.! Looks great a nice improvement for sure.
What wheel width did you go with? Font and rear? Any rubbing in the rear. Especially the outer quarter lip?
Looks great! It's amazing how much better those look. Lot more aggressive looking!
Couldn't agree more! Thanks dude.
I always liked the look with the 17's. Now I Really like the wheels and tires setup! 🦊🤍

WOW They look incredible!
I can see the difference looks really good.
You should've discussed how easy the center caps come off. 😂
🤣🤣🤣 totally lmao
I am still running the cobra R rims,, but definitely this could change my mind
I ran those for a long time myself. Still love them.
Directional rims and tires make tire rotations easy lol.
LOL that is a GREAT point
Way better 💪🏽
Thanks man.
Looks wonderful
Beautiful car Sir. Glad to see ya
Thank you!
Mighty fine looking shirt 😎
Wheels look awesome! Jason at makers garage is a good dude!
Thanks buddy and I love the shirt! Wear it all the time. Agreed, Jason is solid.

Where did you buy your convertible top?
I bought it in 2006 from a company that has since gone out of business.
Did your car come with a luggage rack my 87 has one and I hate it I'm planning on taking it off

Dude you just made a drinking game! Drink every time you say wheels and tires! Then first comment you typed it! Again with wheels and tires! 😆
What are the chances I can put ground effects on an 83 lx?
It would be cool if somone came out with a 10 hole 5 lug 17 inch rim, so we could have the old look with cobra brakes.
I agree, in fact I would put that on Nemsis
Looks awesome brother. Thanks for sharing. Nice rims. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible night. Love you and TIFF. RESPECT
Thanks Tim! I appreciate it. Same to you.
Definitely fills out the car better! Looks a lot better
Thanks, I really think it completes the look

Thanks
I wonder if maybe they will make a rear 93 cobra replica with a little deep dish lip.
Are they the same color? Could I get away with putting 17 inch LMR’s in the front and 18 inch makers in the back are they that close and color where they would match?
It's close but not a perfect match. What would probably be more noticeable would be the size difference.
Where you at? We miss you

Hey buddy! Yeah I think so too.
They look great! I see that the Makers wheel’s fins look longer than the stock ones and that’s why the wheels look bigger. Do they make other 4 lug wheels?
I don't think they make any other wheels right now, but they do have the 93 cobra replicas in different finishes including black

Maybe remove the quad shocks, but I didn't have to change anything on mine although they were already removed.
Offset is way better and the 18s fill the wheel well way better,
Yes, definitely prefer this offest
Those wheels looks so much better more finished. Look to the makers wheels now you need to paint match your brake calibers.😜
Hah hah, well you ain't wrong but washing the car is gonna be my first move LOL
