Every class in my little three room school house had students who spoke different languages at home, ate different kinds of food, and went to different churches, but we loved and respected one another and even rejoiced in our differences. This is the last movement of Beethoven's 9th and final symphony before his death. It's undeniably one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. Beethoven wrote this completely deaf. When the 9th debuted on the 7th of may 1824 Beethoven stood behind the actual conductor, conducting himself, and the orchestra was instructed to ignore him. By the time the orchestra had finished, he was several bars off. At the conclusion, Beethoven had to be turned around by one of the Chorus member, Caroline Unger to see the standing ovation, and rapturous applause of the audience. He couldn't hear it.
In my personal opinion this is the most amazing piece of music ever written.
