This routine is for my friends with prolapse and/or overactive bladder who have to get up often, during the night, to use the toilet. In this routine you'll relax your pelvic floor and hip muscles, and also send signals to your brain that your bladder (and body) is ready to rest! The routine is about 23 minutes, and at the very end I share the best sleeping positions for pelvic health. ENJOY!

Having had a complete hysterectomy to my dismay the floor began falling causing my bladder to become weak sometimes leaking. It was becoming worse fast. Within two days, following these videos, this has stopped and I can feel the muscles are in control. However, with this condition I must keep moving as Dr Bri says. I’ve been doing your pelvic floor relaxation for pelvic floor dysfunction which causes me to wake up to pee twice a night. I’ve had this problem for 6 years. This video might be specifically what I need. I’m going to Order yoga blocks. I have actually been doing qigong for a few years but it hasn’t helped my problem. It seems like what you do is yoga and you target it to a specific area - the pelvic floor muscles. This is just what I’ve been looking for. Thank you so much. I’ve been practicing your routines every day since the start of the new year. Hopefully I can retrain my body and brain to not do that anymore.

Thank you so much. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and this really really helped. I get really tight muscles and can’t release them, which makes it feel like I have to pee when I don’t. These poses released my muscles and allowed me sleep.

I have question is it possible to have both stress and ovreactive blader? I have trouble voiding and feel almost all the time I need to go except when I am asleep and when I am sitting or lying down is less prominent feeling?
Can these exercises be done for retroverted uterus? Not sure if it's from endometriosis or happened pp or both. Issue causes abdominal pain and over active bladder. Either way I'd like to know if exercises are for retroverted as well?
Thank you, Dr Bri. I'm so grateful! Some of your videos have slowly but surely helped me overcome daytime frequency and urgency. All that remains is getting up often while asleep to urinate (nocturia). Unfortunately, and paradoxically, kegels make overall situation worse for me. Can you recommend any alternative to kegels for this remaining annoyance?
Not sure if this will help but as it turns out, the majority of women with pelvic floor issues actually have hypertonic muscles and kegels can worsen the situation since they need to fo pelvic exercises that relax those muscles. Kegels do the opposite, so that may be why they aren't working for you. Pelvic relaxation and loosening up those muscles may be the key. I hope this was helpful - I have multiple prolapses I'm attempting to heal and as it turns out I have this exact issue.
@@kikib8434 Yes Kiki! I'm one of those with hypertonic pelvis.
