Thank you soo much stupendous for doing this vid, Darth Krayt is a badass sith, almost reminds me of Darth Revan, hearing him go through torture, and then forever embracing the dark side. Honestly the point of no return was when he emerged from the torture and releasd the dark side power within him. Thanks soo much for doing this.
Id say the point of no return was when Obi-Wan kicked him off tatooine.. if Obi-Wan had let him stay and trained him to hide then he wouldnt have gone to the unknown region and been tortured until he was evil by the Yuuzhan Vong
That's probably why. The original Lords of the Sith were purer in thought than the other Sith who came after them. Bane included. But Bane was ultimately right in that similar organizations of the Sith always failed. I'm of the opinion that the Rule of Two were the best Sith. The problem with them is that they focused exclusively on conquest. Not really ruling. They were too Warrior like in everything that they did. That's part of the reason then collapsed. That and that Palpatine had broken the Rule of Two. He had zero intentions (originally in Legends) of ever leaving the Throne to an Apprentice. He just wanted someone to boss around.
@@Cuban20 Personally, I think the Rule of Two are the worst Sith. It's through sheer luck it lasted for 1000 years, given the nature of Sith and given Tenebrous, Plagueis and Sidious's distain for it I wonder how many other Sith came close to ruining it for their own greed.
This is by far my favorite Star wars EU content. I named my son Cade even. Star Wars Legacy should be made into live action, but they cant now. Great Vid guys!
So as a Jedi, he loses over and over, studies the dark side under a legendary sith, then leaves the planet only to lose again and be tortured for 20 years, until he eventually breaks and has a vision of himself establishing lawful evil sith, to then be abandoned again. And only then did he start finding success? That’s rough buddy.
Darth Krayt was one of the most powerful Sith in history. He actually came back from the dead more powerful than before and he almost defeated both Fel empire and the Galactic Alliance with his powerful sith troopers.
No he just regained the power he lost by the virus he didn't became that powerful he doesn't even know essence tranfer oh a sith ritual to became immortal
Couldn’t have said it better myself and as a side note I find it interesting that he knew of Lumaya and this is the first time I’ve ever had a thought like this when it comes to legends (because it’s just so well written) and that’s I think it would’ve been interesting if she was in the order cuz they wanted the same thing fr
After hearing the story of the Dragon, I think Mace Windu would make a great Disney equivalent of Darth Krayt. I can very much see Mace going through a similar journey after being thrown out of the window.
Can't wait to see the vid why the holicron guardians of Darth Bane, Darth Nihilus, and Darth Andeddu had their own reasons for refusing to help Darth Krayt.
could you please make a video about what unique traits/qualities that were more or less specific to each Sith that made them so dangerous/Terrifying/successful? doesn't have to be just power, and I know multiple dangerous Sith shared a lot in common like for instance, Cunning! what qualities of it did Bane have that made him unique and successful that other Sith didn't have. or power wise how different was the way Nihilus could instill fear when he used his powers in comparison to say Sidious or Vitiate? all three are extremely powerful, but would use that power to instill fear in different unique ways. A video about this would be AWESOME!
Son of a Jedi Tusken Warlord Venerated Jedi Knight Bounty Hunter Master of Form VI Niman Founder of the One Sith Order Second Emperor of the galaxy Master of the Dark Side Practitioner of Dark Transfer
Would you mind doing your video on the story of the One Sith and what they did during the legacy area? Unrelated, but I thought I would say that the point of no return for Darth Krayt was when he got captured and tortured by the Yuzan Vong. By that point, he had lost everything including his own body to a certain extent as it was being eaten from the inside out by vong coral seeds to my knowledge.
This is tragic. Everything. Such a sad story. Powerful Jedi, powerful Jedi. This is really sad story. Tragedy. I also killed kryt dragon in kotor. Asharad should have found Luke. I think point of no return could be when he entered Sith Temple
I love your content! Thank you so much for the effort you put into making these videos! Since you are currently making videos regarding powerful force users, such as sidious, plaguies, etc, can you make a tier list where you rank these powerful force users, such as sidious, yoda, Vader, etc?
A very interesting tale. I’ll be honest. I really don’t know much about Darth Krayt. I definitely enjoyed this holocron. I would love to know more about Krayt. What book would cover Krayt? Hopefully your future holocrons will explain more knowledge on Darth Krayt. Excellent video! 👍
A beast? Yes, and the most relentless one at that. Strong and resilient too. A dragon? No. Not even close. Dragons are transcendent beings. A dragon would've never mired himself in petty squabbles of lesser creatures for no good reason.
@@TheStupendousWave Darth Vectivus begs to differ, as you are well aware. Darth Krayt with the One Sith was in someways a bigger fool then Kaan with the Brotherhood of Darkness, though with much interesting story. Obi-wan was right to show him mercy when paths cross again but he should tried to bring Hett back to the Jedi path not letting him go running off into the stars with both men giving Luke two different views of the path. One who has remained faithful while who lost his way but founded it again.
I love Kyrat he's such a great Sith like he accomplished what the Rule of Two did in less than two centuries over Bane's full millennia of preparation, and you may criticize that the Jedi order that Bane's lineage faced was far stronger than Kyrat's but i think not. Yes The rule of two had far more Jedi to face but their quality in comparison to Luke's Order is not something to scoff at, also Kyrat and Bane pretty much had very similar starting points, when they started their respective orders a fractured galaxy after years of wars with extremely weaken Jedi Orders heck Bane had a slight head start with his apprentice Zannah, Kyrat started with no one and still completed his plan within his lifetime. Also like the comic series he's from his legacy is that all Sith for the foreseeable future will be from his School of the One Sith because if we look at the math, all the ancient Sith died thousands of years ago, Bane killed all the new Sith of the Thousand-year darkness, and the Rule of Two last gasp was Dredd who died before he even got an apprentice leaving all of Kyrat's top Lieutenants to teach the next generation of Sith making Darth Kyrat the new Bane for all Sith in the future.
Ashurod turned a bit hypocritical turning Sith after preaching being a Jedi an NOT falling to Darkness like he preached to Anakin way back when. If HE was EVER TRULY a Jedi he could just wisely waged Guerrilla War on the Empire IF he REALLY wanted to.. he just WANTED to go Dark an give in.. it was a choice Just like Yoda always said... In EU an Disney those like Masters Ti, an Kota... Kenobi even an Asoka for example probably ALL had THEIR share of similar temptations an DIDN'T break.. even Yoda himself was tempted... Asherod fell far indeed
He was on par with grand master Luke Skywalker in the fate of the Jedi series. I don't think he could beat Luke but he would've definitely given him trouble.
Not gonna lie. I thought Tuskins were hideous monsters under the mask. I dont think ot was a good idea to show whats under there. Glad this no longer official canon. (Not that I like the Disney stuff.)
How can you be glad it's not canon if you don't even understand this lore😂 Darth Krayt and his father were just humans living in a Tusken tribe, whereas the Tuskens themselves weren't human. Being a tusken was these two's culture, not their race. Also, this is still canon because unlike anything disney put out, Legends canon actually makes sense and contains amazing stories.

It's amusing that Bane, Andeddu, and Nihilus treat Krayt as a heretic yet he was apprenticed by one of the original 12 Dark Jedi of Korriban.

Agreed! This whole dark horse comics time period was great! I think the sequels should have been like this.

I wish Krayt had his own seeries.

A Tusken, Sith-Vong. Deserves way more attention and story telling. Not to mention The Vong themselves. Great video!

The true heir to the Sith Empires of old, i'd love for more lore on the One Sith.

He's the villain in the "Legacy" comic series. 😎👍
You skipped the part where he summoned Darth Bane, Darth Andeddu and Darth Nihilus, and all 3 of them deemed him unworthy of the title of Sith.
I would of love to see this story come to live action
Even MORE proof Legends had BETTER lore and stories.
I need that Krayt black series, done like the Blue stripes with accessories.

He was always the hardest to beat in Mortal Kombat
I'd love to hear the rest of his story
FINALLY! DARTH KRAYT!
He should have helped Anikan find his peace ☮️ with sand. And order 66 might never have happened 🤣
Hett's PONR was Kenobi's meddling.
So is that why he only has one sith eye, because the vong replaced his left eye with theirs. That’s cold.
