The thing with nihilus was, he was unique, in the sense that his power was unlimited as long as he consumed, when he couldnt consume for a long period, he would become weak, its a double edge blade, either you become insanely powerfull or insanely weak, you cant compare nihilus to a sith or jedi or anything, he was a 1 of a kind, thats why Kreia deemed him a universal level threat that must be stopped, becouse the galaxy and universe were full of life, and if he managed to consume all that life there would be no life left annd he would simply wanish leaving a empty universe behind. Thats what made him so dangerous and separated him from other sith lords.
He was one of those Star Wars characters I'd most love to have a crossover with The Marvel Universe, because, I think he'd be a formidable threat for The likes of The Avengers, The X-men, or, The Fantastic Four. Just imagine if he touches rouge who absorbs the powers of others, WHAT WOULD HAPPEN? Or what if he was to cross swords with Doctor Strange, or, Thanos?

Haha) before Darth Sidious can kiss his own ass goodbye Darth Nihilus 'TERMINATES' Darth Sidious. Which comes down to a hypothetical 'what-if' scenario: Darth Nihilus vs Darth/Emperor Vitiate. Darth/Emperor Vitiate was FAR more Evil and Ruthless than Darth Sidious could EVER hope to be. Think about it: Vitiate used long-forgotten techniques of Sith Alchemy and Sith Sorcery to transfer his Essence/Conciousness into other Mortal Being. However, even though Darth/Emperor Vitiate could drain a planet dry of ALL life, Darth Nihilus could achieve the same thing FAR more quickly than Vitiate could.

Well comparing to Revan, Revan is the most overrated and overhyping than Nihilus tho. Revan has got a lot attention from Bioware and Lucasart in SWTOR and Star Wars Canon and Clone Wars.
