Bane hated Krayt because of the Rule of Two's failure and hated how Krayt created a Sith Empire where the Dark Side thrived (disproving Bane's belief how it should be limited to two to prevent the dilution of the Dark Side), Andeddu was nothing but a coward and Nihilus was most likely hungry.
Notice how none of the Holocrons Krayt had came from Vitiate's Sith Empire? Darth Malgus and Marr would be proud of him and most likely helped him as much as they could.
Also Marka Ragnos appeared before Darth Plagueis and denounced him for attempting to dismantle the traditions of Korriban, even he did not like the Rule of Two Sith.

Agreed Bane was just jealous of Krayt succeeding where he failed. When you think about it Sidious is more of a false sith as he stopped caring about what he'd been taught and instead focused on immortality for himself.

@hordakprime6172 so you picked that up about Bane as well. When I saw the thumbnail picture I immediately thought, "Is Bane seriously jealous?" Sidious should've gotten the hate from Bane from what you pointed out

@@Ravenfanatic5 Yep. I mean Sidious dropped the ball so badly. The more I think about it, the more I feel like Bane and other previous Sith should disown Sidious as one of their own. Sidious lost everything in less than three decades on top of that he made the mistake of announcing himself and then he lost an entire fleet and army. Not saying he didn't have his victories but his failures outweigh his successes by A LOT.

But the rule of two was successful . It didn’t fail because of its teachings or ideologies but because primarily two Sith Lords within the rule of two decided to no longer abide by it. And the one who fulfilled the grand plan under it would pay the price by not following its tenets and preventing a line of succession. It accomplished what previous sith empires/orders couldn’t even with vast armies of Sith Lords and Krayt’s rule lasted less than half of what Sidious ruled. The system in place isn’t what was ineffective but the people who chose to not follow it. The rule of two is still the most effective system for the sith to operate by.

@@clank0ta404 Not it failed it limited the number of sith and caused The Bane legacy to die in disgrace due to Sidious and his idiocy. When Krayt died he left many followers behind who carried on the sith in secret Sidious left no one.

Krayts Sith were honestly the coolest, literally a bunch of Darth Mauls running around. I think the more heretical the Sith, the more I like them. Sith like Krayt, who have a warped sense of justice are more relatable than a psychopathic mustache twirling villain (looking at Sidious, even though he’s one of, if not my favorite). Darth Traya is also a relatable/interesting Sith. Her desire to destroy the force is bold, insane, but something I wanna see. It’s ironic Bane and Andedu mock Krayt, when their orders fell due to their own glaringly obvious flaws. Andedu’s Sith strived for power, but it caused the Sith to cannibalize itself. Bane’s lineage ended, not because Vader killed Sidious, but because Sidious never intended to relinquish his power to a apprentice, he also wanted a rule of one essentially. Sidious trained 3 apprentices, and each of them failed, if one were to fail that’s one thing, but for all three to fail means he was a bad master (again he’s still my favorite, but he almost let the Sith go extinct)

He controlled the "Sith" through loyalty instead of power. Once one chooses power over loyalty the whole order crumbles. The weakness of the rule of 2 was putting all of the eggs in one basket. When master and apprentice die, so do the Sith.

For the Sith, the rule of one was likely the most productive. It used both the old sith emperor loyalty and the mini-rules of two to keep order within the organization.
Ironically, Krayt wanted what the ancient first Sith Lords that landed on Korriban after the first schism. That being creating a foundation to work from. This is why XoXaan helped him. She realized after the rule or two was broken and ran the Sith into the ground, someone would have to build it back up.

Only true way the One Sith would have worked in the long run was if Krayt took on an appertance/shadow hand himself let there honor match to the death. For Darth Krayt in someway was Kaan he his ideals and order would save the sith but it only replace one problem with a far worse one.

Imagine a timeline where Darth Krayt won and got the future sith rule that he wanted. I wouldve enjoyed that Legacy timeline of the sith finally being the dominant people in the galaxy and thus the sith would never meet their end.

interestingly both Bane and Krayt ideas for fixing the Sith come to the same problem. The Dark side needs conflict to continue its growth. Bane's rule of 2 was made primarily to crush the Jedi but had little in the way for what to do after the fact. Krayt's rule of 1 striped away individual ambition in favor sole authority from 1 Sith Lord. The chief reason why Bane philosophy works better is that it builds conflict into its foundation while Krayt's is a dime a dozen failed strongman political movement.

Darth Krayt is one of my favorite Sith. Also pretty funny how hypocritical the ancient sith are. Only Bane had a leg to stand on by creating his own system. The other two are part of the old and very similar system that the One Sith uses. Hahahahaha.
Heck Nilihius was an apprentice to a dark lord of sith that trained several apprentices, two of which at the same time.
Overall they were jelly that Krayt could inspire loyalty by legitimately giving the entire sith order a direction.
Also I think Bane would feel the same way about Sidious as he created a metric crap load of acolytes and set him up to be the only dark lord of the Sith for all time. Heck even Bane took a second apprentice at the end. Sith never can stick to their beliefs at the end of the day.

I wonder why Darth Krayt didn’t just use the ability of plucking the knowledge of essence transfer from the holocrons of the ancient Sith. Having just finished reading the Darth Bane trilogy and specifically the third book dynasty of evil, I wonder why Darth Krayt didn’t use the technique as described by Darth Bane as described by what he said to Darth andedu “If you will not give it to me, THEN I WILL TAKE IT😡!” I wonder if Darth Krayt did not even know of the ability of plucking out the knowledge by going into the holocron through the mind like Darth Bane knew how to do that in the third book of the Bane trilogy in order to have the knowledge of essence transfer.

Krayt was the first Sith since Valkorion that made a Sith Empire work. Bane's Rule of Two was great for evolution but not keeping power. Palpatine and the Dark Lords of his era dropped the ball on that. Nihilus was more of a monster and force of nature {no pun intended} who was blinded by his desire to live and feed off the life-force of others. Andeddu became paranoid, and hoarded his knowledge. His spirit was eventually destroyed by Darth Wyyrlok, one of Krayt's followers.
If it had been another, like Palpatine, Plageus, Malgus or even Revan, they would have seen the brilliance of Krayt's vision and helped him. Instead he got a paranoid old man, a literal monster and the guy who got his entire line wiped out because no one after him thought to actually have a plan to rule.

Still have to rule of two with also having the want to be the “grandmaster”
It makes more sense for the sith to do it mafia style with 7 or so “families” that make up the council with the “godfather” of the council
They could be the inverse of the Jedi
A small council w like sidius as the grandmaster and dooku w Ventress and maul w savage and some other interesting characters with their own stories and their own apprentices

On the one hand, Bane does have a point. Krayt did ruin the philosophy of the Rule of Two and literally spat in the face of Bane himself, and now he comes crawling to the very Sith he rejected, begging for help like a dog, which in Bane, Andedu and Nihilius’ eyes, was just pitiful.
On the other hand, the Rule of Two was also flawed and Krayt did manage make the Sith thrive once again into a new imperial age where they became dominate! After all, the idea of the Sith is to control the Force, control the galaxy and, above all, control their fate by overcoming death.
Ironically though, despite Krayt’s failings and Bane’s flawed Rule of Two, the Sith did achieve immortality, albeit spiritually. Their bodies may wither and crumble, but in the end, the Sith’s teachings, their legacy, their ideals, goals, powers, their infamy across the galaxy, it will live on forever. Spiritually and metaphysically, Sith will never die! Take that Disney!

All these sith are weak and pathetic
They are weak because they did not face their fear, anger, hate and suffering
They are pathetic for they were succumbed to their own darkness. Instead of humbling themselves before the force, the very source of their power and safety, they instead want to control the force.
The problem was never the dark side. The problem was always the sith philosophy: they desire to rule the galaxy: valkorion, revan and exar kunn (the embodiment of arrogance)
They wish to control the force - (plagueis and andeddu) truly they are arrogant and stupid for thinking they could control the force instead of the dark side controlling them
Some believe that nothing matters (nihilus) therefore everything could be destroyed to feed their own power - isn't that fear and suffering the masters of nihilus ?
At the end of the day, we can complain and whine about the jedi and their dogmatic teaching on the force, but the galaxy is always in desperate need of as many jedi it could possibly gets
All of star wars lore shows us that beings who truly deserve to rule the galaxy (the mortis gods) actually are not ruling. And undeserving and pathetic beings like valkorion and sidious get to rule the galaxy

Lol, I think the real reason other Sith hated this guy is because his style is pure 90's edgelord cringe. His first appearance was... 1998. He looks like something a high school kid doodled on their math notebook.

Krayt had the same problem as Vitiate in that he never intended for a successor. Sidious expected Vader to destroy him but after he was burned and the Empire secured it was the perfect end to the rule of two as Vader became a powerful enforcer but never strong enough alone to defeat his master.
Vitiate knew Essence Transfer among many other Ancient secrets and powers so he has bigger leeway with not intending a successor. Krayt was trying to change the Sith without the knowledge of essence transfer and didn’t intend for a successor despite his Jedi knowledge of the Force/Life.

The rituals vitiate and exar kun performed were far better than essence tranfer because they could exist as spirits without been bound to a artifacts or a place also they archive far greater power knowledge and skills papaltine also archived this I dark empire

@@alsimmonshellspawn6021well said and true, difference is essence transfer only wipes out one person at a time: the attempter or the resister.
The other powerful rituals required thousands of deaths from Sith or even entire planets for one person to achieve immortality or godlike powers. To a Sith that means nothing of course just comparing
