Thank you so much -- out of dozens of reactors you are the ONLY ONE who understands that we want to see and share the music with you -- really see the performance not a small corner of the screen for the performance and the rest the reactor larger than life looking wise and serious. Kudos for reading your audience. Jackson Browne -- poet, composer, vocalist, musician -- nice guy. The best -- who always surrounds himself with the best. David Lindley -- so grateful we have your contributions forever, You are so missed. RIP.
On The Running On Empty Album The Load Out/Stay Were Recorded Back to Back On Normal Radio play in that Order too They Also played together Its Its off today to hear them Separately
What there was at the time seems to have been far fewer distractions, and more dedication to the craft and trade of musicianship. I think there was a greater consciousness of the depth of competition an act would face in competing for public attention, and the performers would put in that extra hour or three every single day to develop their skills, and took care to maintain those skills once they were learned. I think pitch-correction software, the explosion of internet-discovered acts like Justin Bieber, and 'reality' shows like "America's got talent" have been, at the very politest, doing no favors at all with regards to the quality of performer that are reaching public attention. Auto-tune in particular is encouraging people to take their act public, when they should spend another two or three years practicing and taking the reactions of critical audiences.
