I didn’t have a relaxer until I was into my 20’s and could pay for it myself. I had natural hair that was being pressed before then and wore Afro’s in the 60’s and part of the 70’s and then relaxed and Afro in my he 80’s. I always went between relaxed and Afro’s or blowouts and flat ironed.

Your hair is gorgeous. How do you dry your hair effectively and get through your thickness? Do you dry your hair 100% on day 1 or something less?

Hello Lauran! For wash n gos or curl defining sets I use a hooded dryer and dry the outside of my hair until it has a cast from my gel. I then use a diffuser on the inside of hair until it is only slightly damp, then I let my hair air dry the rest of the way.
