Despite all the bickering, they really did love each other. That’s what made the show so dynamic and lifelike. As Marie once told them, “You’re upset because you fight?! Everybody fights. That’s marriage. That’s life.”
She also said, "You find room for hate." Too funny!
Those two needed a divorce like Jeff Bezos and his wife. She'll get the kids and the house, while he pays alimony and child support living in an apartment trying to get himself a new relationship.

@@thegameshowguy1 or it's her moving back in with her parents and he throws the kids in daycare the entire day and they grow up to have Daddy and neglect issues. Or he gets a nanny that he starts to sleep with.
Or he could just give the kids to the loving mother that birthed them, and he can find a new relationship when he doesn't have the kids 4 days out of the week.
This actress should have won an Emmy every single year

Heaton is amazing. The best physical comedienne since Lucy, and probably as good. And a shout out to Ray Romano for letting himself be portrayed as a total asshat on so many shows!!

I'm sure. Some scenarios are in fact based off the creator's real life incidents, but we can safely assume basic security like this isn't one of them. If you consider shows like Friends or Seinfeld, the neighbors/friends constantly walked in to into their apartments which were conveniently unlocked except when they were used to carry the plot in specific episodes

In the episode, No Thanks. Debra, when the dishes, were being cleared. She said"Ray" and he sat there. She said "RAY"! that was one of the times, that she was so bossy, to him. She was always like this, to him. 😒😒
I'm willing to bet Marie showed up at Ray's & Debra's honeymoon suite that night after their wedding with a hot bubbly bathtub drawn for Ray with his old rubber ducky and his big boy superman underoos waiting for him. Typical Marie. Poor Debra.
Ray loves Ray. He is unable to think/feel past himself. Golf, sports, & occasionally a little sex. I feel bad for any woman married to a man like him!

Debra and Ray a love story..I don't think so. Ray was a dimwit but Debra was an evil witch. Always angry too much yelling and even hitting him. I didn't like her one bit.
