It's the most hilarious family sitcom ever.... I keep watching repeats..... In India we interact with in-laws on a daily basis.... such situations are real(though not humorous)..... it's based on Ray's actual life....

It just slayed me. The Thanksgiving at Amy's parents house. When Frank said "I know birds, I build bird houses". That was so funny. And, when the bird hit the window. There wasn't any way the bird could be saved. Pat did the right thing.

I have always appreciated the fact that Everybody Loves Raymond did a Thanksgiving show and a Christmas show every year, unlike, for example, The Andy Griffith Show or the Mary Tyler Moore Show, which produced one Christmas show during their first seasons and then repeated those episodes every succeeding Christmas. In addition, those series ignored Thanksgiving all together.
The Bob Newhart Show delivered a classic Thanksgiving episode. And as for WKRP in Cincinnati? Ever heard of what became of "The Pinedale Shopping Mall"?😏😂🦃B.W.
The episode "Older Women". It made me mad when Debra made the comment about the cleaning lady. "She weighed 200 pounds, had bad skin, and walked with a limp". I'm disabled, and walk with a limp. And just because someone is overweight, does not mean someone can't be attracted to them. I have to use a cane. That statement was uncalled for. Very uncalled for. 😒😒
