Scott and Warren did alright for themselves. Warren became a MacArthur Fellowship-winning Geologist at Cal Tech. and Scott became an above-Top Secret government assassin who took out an entire Russian mafia outfit after a stint practicing criminal defense law in Albuquerque.
Yeah from the University of American Samoa
and then became a hustling lawyer
Eagle eye.
Bert and Saul Goodman huh, Raymond is bad ass
The name's McGill.
Never had the desire to attend a high school reunion to see all my classmates, seen enough of them on Facebook.
@davidgoodman6924 this predates Facebook by about a decade. People used to give a shit about this
looks like you had hard time in school
didn't go to any of mine either. was never one of those guys that felt high school was the best time of their lives. once i graduated, i never looked back.
I drove by and waved at my last one.
I absolutely hated them almost all of them ... I regularly skip all events I am invited to by them..
Wow, a young Bob Odenkirk.
That’s why I would never go to class reunions. The weird awkwardness just too much. I’m good! 👍😎👍
This is why I would go!
Unless you are Bill Gates. The class nerd with 14 ink pens in your pocket and glasses taped together. You show up and take the air out of the room. Still a nerd but a rich one that most people suck up to now.
they're great for the kids who were popular but for the rest of us, they're a fucking nightmare
@@MinteRed For the most part, I enjoyed my time in high school. I have no interest in going to a school reunion. I guess I’m in a different place in life. If someone enjoys going to those, then that’s great for them.
I was in a small class, 110 or so. I've been to three of the 4 we've had. It's been good; I wish more of those that are still local would come. Can see why some would pass on it.
I have never been to even one class-reunion and I never will go either. I just don't care to catch up with classmates that I never interracted with in school, and those who I did interract with are still my friends and I see them all the time anyway!
Spot on.
@@mrsTraveller64 good stuff
_"That wasn't funny, okay? I had to go to community college."_
Go, Land Crabs!
At least the school was accredited.
Hey! I went to community college and graduated from a UC. Besides, he could have retaken it. And yes, I know it's only a TV show.
@@oolala53 the best route to take after high school imo. why spend thousands of dollars at a university when you can take those same classes at a CC for more than half the price. then you can transfer to a university to take the classes you cannot at a CC.
Not Debra’s finest moment, being bffs with Rays former bullies, and I’m usually Anti-Ray.
Then he should've man up and stand up for himself instead of be scary grown ass man with great job and family still acting like scary cat
meh thats debra, she was a preppie prom queen rich kid, its lowkey why she is so mean to ray, because she blames him for ruining her life
Did she know they were his bullies?
@@TheGhostofMrArthurs Girls like Debra marry people like Ray because she thinks she can control him.
@@oolala53 she found out at the table and still hung out with them.
I love Ray, Debra, and the whole cast, they’re such good sports and always seem to win in the end! And funny!
“HE PINNED YOUR FROG BACK!” Lmao 3:14
Just like Debra to be adopted by the social elite. But I call foul on their not being impressed that he's a sports writer.
@@oolala53 Ray wasn’t popular but apparently Robert was.
@@Stoneman180190 And yet he went to his prom with his cousin Shelly, who he vomited on. But in his defense, someone spiked the punch.
@@EdithCardellini sometimes the writers have to depend on the audience having short memories, that was probably one of those cases.
True!...especially since they're sports fans!💯🤣
"Ladies' room...bring me back one." LOL I'm going to use that one from now on
"She smells different now.. "
💀😭😂
I went to my wife's class reunion and almost half the people there thought I graduated with them.
Did you play along?
"I'm studying to be a rabbi." Salami.
Saul Goodman’s beginning
odenkirk has been a million & a half things.
Bob Odenkirk. A very versatile actor. Especially in Better Call Saul.
He played a different character in a different episode and so did the other guy standing next to him.
Warren later graduated with a phD in geology and taught at Cal Tech
On an episode of NewsRadio Brian Posehn and Bob Odenkirk played Dave Foley's old friends from college (David Cross played the third friend).
It’s funny and ironic how Debra was invited to sit at the Cool Kids table
And it all comes back like a flooding rush 20 years later!! LOL!!
Isn’t that Better Call Saul?
Yep, that’s Bob Odenkirk.
That's Nobody.💀
is that better call saul :)
Same here! Do they really do those reunions these days? I feel like no one really cares to go see people they never followed up with.
It's funny that they mention how great Jay Malone was, and have a toast to him 🥂 after they didn't even remember his name. What a joke 😂
That's what people with charisma do. JM died, someone remembered the real name for them, they made a courteous but rather empty gesture to the universe...
Ignoring the awkward guy in front of them they assumed had died.
Charismatic people can find one another....like this story of the wife finding the fantasy girl...as his wife is from a successful, cultured family.
Pheromones I guess.
Nerds can do it too. Lisa Simpson distilled it to the compound Poinextrose.
So much more high school reunion
Classic TV Comedy.
Ding dong
We finally get to see where "Nobody" was secretly somebody.😉
Bert looks so different
RIP to Jay Malone! 🙏 03:51 😂
Hmm, how come we don't see Fran Fine or Val Toriello? They were in Ray's class.
This episode retconned that Nanny crossover.
Renfro is also popular sock company
WAit... is that Bob Odenkirk???
Little insults here and there it's called hazing
Hazing has been banned here for decades.... Just about at a time when a student ran through a plate glass window to avoid the fun filled hazing.
@@RedStarSQD it's another term for bullying someone,as in cyber abuse, gang stalking and vmi cadettes get hazed thru tactics like throwing water on them, hell week except the issue is my girlfriend is being bullied but they seem to do this thru utube and my page
They’re just breaking balls.
Oh yes, bring my bell ring my bell.😮😅❤😅
She smells different….
I never realized Brian Posehn made an appearance on this show. I mostly know him from the Big Bang Theory and Just Shoot Me.
Now we know Saul Goodman’s high school classmates
My thought on class reunions is I didn't like those a-holes back then, so why would I like them any better now?
She not recognize Ray
2:17 Why do I think he is lying?
“Better call…”
That was a little contradictory story...in school looks like everybody didn't love him
At least 3 Seinfeld actors in this clip.
I love how they appreciated Rob more then Ray 😂. But I do feel bad for Ray here 😔
Wow! Bob Odenkirk was bald way back then.
Debra is much hotter than the "crush".
Scott should have told the truth and said he was Heisenbergs lawyer
It’s so funny how everyone loves and favors Robert except for Marie.
Better call Saul😂
Oh man! Better call Saul!
No mention in the video of her being his high school crush
Is that Saul?
Isn't the tall guy the same actor who plays Bert the geologist in big bang theory?
Is that Saul Goodman??
I guess…..Everbody did NOT like Raymond.
If Ray had acted his age and danced with Debra, his night would’ve turned out differently.
Second of all, it was very very weird how Debra hounded Ray to attend his high school reunion when he didn’t wanna go. Why did she care so much about this? This isn’t her high school reunion🤷🏼♂️
It was probably in the script at the table read
Bob O.
The irony in the show's title "Everybody Loves Raymond" given the backstories of the main characters. Let me expand on that:
Despite the show's title suggesting that the main character, Ray, is universally beloved, the reality is quite different. As you noted, in his high school days, Ray was actually an unpopular kid who was bullied by his peers.
In contrast, Ray's brother Robert and his wife Debra were the popular kids back then. They likely enjoyed the social status and adoration that came with being the cool, attractive students.
However, as the characters have grown older and their lives have unfolded, the tables have turned. While the title suggests that "Everybody Loves Raymond," the truth is that Ray's popularity and likability have actually increased over time, especially within his family circle.
Meanwhile, Robert and Debra's once-elevated social status and popularity have declined. Robert, in particular, has struggled with feelings of resentment and jealousy towards his more successful brother Ray. And Debra has had to deal with the challenges of being married to the often immature and self-absorbed Ray.
So the irony lies in the fact that the show's title implies Ray is universally adored, when in reality, his journey has involved overcoming his unpopular high school persona, while the formerly popular characters have faced a decline in their social standing and public acceptance.
This contrast highlights the show's exploration of deeper themes like personal growth, the complexities of family dynamics, and how perceptions of popularity can shift over the course of one's life. The irony adds an extra layer of depth and humor to the show's portrayal of the Barone family's relationships.
Ray Barone is bi-polar
@@lexkanyima2195 Yes, he definitely is. He also somewhat neurotic, anxiety-prone, and indecisive who often struggles to stand up to strong personalities of his overbearing parents and angry wife.
@@brittanyc.4540 it's not that Ray becomes a Pussy, it's like he felt always being alone
I don't think anyone wants to be working for a cafeteria, direct conversation tactics
Funny I went 10/20… ok but never again ,exactly just luck this episode.
I dont think people hold the same school politics and cliques years after they graduate.
Not my experience. I'm friends with a bunch of my classmates still after45 years. Best friends then are often best friends now. A few married couples from the class. We're too mature I guess for the cliques and so forth. I'm FB friends with many and we just had a reunion. We get along pretty well. True, some we don't hear from for whatever reason.....
no one dared throw us in girls room,
