Her company did my thai pass and coordinated my insurance. Landed BKK June 6 about 2:40pm. Entry was easier than any time I've ever entered any country, even going home to the US. Walked straight thru to where they first check the thailand pass walked then to immigration, that took several minutes but that was only because someone jumped in line in front of me to follow her friend. Then walked out door 5, looked for an agent with a sign for my hotel, found her and I was then transported to my hotel downtown, total time about 45 minutes.

Thanks for the great info, and thanks for handling my Thai Pass. So worth the very small price and your team is on top of responding quickly! For clarity, for my unvaccinated friend , he books his flight and arranges/books his hotel, but he will have to wait until his ATK test (72 hours before flight) before applying for the Thaipass? Will it get approved in time for his flight?

The offensive questions, going through my luggage and being a smart you know what. But I laugh at them in the end and continue on my way.

I particularly liked when you talked about how difficult it is for a Thai person (or any Asian person) to travel to far countries ! We complain about Thai Pass, insurance, etc (well... personnally, I would NEVER travel without having health insurance coverage abroad in case of any sickness or accident : I am not stupid...).
But for Asian people coming to Europe (for example), they must ask for a Schengen visa, which has lots of requirements. To have the visa, as you say, you need to have enough money for your stay, but you also must have health insurance coverage in case of any sickness or accident, and some other requirements ! I remember how complicated it has been when I made visa for my wife (she is Asian) to come to live with me in Switzerland ! Not a piece of cake !
So, maybe, we should not complain so much, even if we do not like Thailand Pass and find it useless.

Not a lot of rules really to be honest, only need to be fully vaccinated and have full insurance- so easy and in my opinion this should

Problem is lot of elderly still don't know how to fill in Thailand pass and they don't know English too. For us Thailand pass may be easy. From them, it would be very difficult.😔 Lot of auntie and uncle told me they give out visiting Thailand because they don't know how to apply Thailand pass.😑
In my opinion, elderly should be taken care by the young ppl or pay for the agent to do for them. Even if they fly normal time, I don't think they book flights and hotel by themselves

On Thailand Pass mentions it valid on the day you arrive. I think you better reapply. It's very easy and it takes only a few mins to get a new one

Hi.. i going to travel on 18June to 23June. I fill in my flight depart on 18June and checked out on 23 June. But why my thai pass is showing validity from 18 June to 21st June?
Those are the dates you can enter. From the 18th to 21st. For example, if the flight is cancelled or for whatever reason.

What is the screening at arrival ? Temperature check / pass qr code?
Once you arrive at the Airport, you go thru Passport check and they check everything there before stamping your Passport, make sure you have your Hotel info ready with address and phone number - if you have everything ready it’s easy, simple, and fast to pass thru 👍🏾

I know all this is a little confusing and intimidating but it’s actually a smooth process - better than going to the Philippines right now that’s for sure.

It’s best to get it done a week before… before I came, I registered online a week prior to my flight and it took about 24 hours when they sent me the QR Code 👍🏾

It appears that the way to get around this is to submit your Thailand Pass on your phone. I have an IPhone and it worked. My PC wouldn't work for some reason. Now i hope to get my approval in about an hour. Wish me luck.

@@ItsThaithings The immigration said that they accept social security cards from people with work permits. Its when the employer pays for local insurance using the work permit. Same as Thais have social security deducted monthly. They have officially stated they accept it but always reject.
