i wait for thailand till everything is more easy to go, i booked now for the Philippines , so easy there , no problem to go there now and also a great country to stay
Flights to the Phillipines are few in number right now and they are very expensive.

Thanks for the great information and videos. Yes it is frustrating...there are too many politicians who want to get their own agenda across as opposed to taking a coordinated approach. This has been my experience while visiting and residing in Thailand. My wife and I are returning in June, hopefully this nonsense will be a thing of the past. Yes the government's obligation on private sector hotels to do the government's work is flawed and opens up all sorts of confusion and errors.

Thanks again Teya. This Thai Pass has become very technical and complicated more so than ever . . . Each time it comes back with a new tweak it's more complicated (yet 'strangely' they say it'll be easier) with certain things added on. How can this be so and continue with so much confusion as seen on Facebooks Thailand Pass page? Wouldn't you think that those in power would want to make matters easy and capture people who travel for those entering as the Philippines and Cambodia now do so. It all works out at around 12,000 Thai baht additional to a flight cost to enter Thailand these days, which is pricey. They who make these rules up seem not to care and very detached from the mindset of any valuable tourists in want of travel and the stress now in place, but there are other places to go
It’s simple to do Thailand pass,took about 15 minutes.as for costs cost me a extra 6000bht for the day 1 and 5 hotel booking.haven’t had to pay for a taxi as that’s included in the hotel price
Thai govt don’t care mate. They get paid tourists or not. Feel sorry for the locals suffering. Go to Cambodia. They at least seem to have basic common sense.

Test & Go programme, multiple Covid tests, the need to use an online registration system and having an insurance policy with at least $50,000 cover is simple ridiculous and “cumbersome”!

I received my approval in 6 days, but I wouldn't wait until 7 days before your flight to apply! I would apply at least 14 days before, maybe even earlier if you have all the required paperwork.

Great info again. The govt really needs someone like you in there to develop a user friendly system. Thai tourism sector is loosing thousands of dollars to Cambodia and Filipines.

For COE for Phuket i applied in June, finally approved 36 hours before flight arrved July 9.
This time applied February 1, to fly March 4. Both my hotels already approve day 1 and day 5. Hope to get soon.
I don’t know why laughing in this situation? Thailand pass is really damaging of your tourism and make so many troubles to travelers! Is rally too complicated and expensive travel to Thailand!

I applied for the Thailand pass with your company. Daisy is helping me. It has been 4 days and still no approval. I travel on the 13th and I am starting to get very nervous. I really hope I get my QR code soon. The Thailand pass system is nothing but headache.

Im travelling on 13th aswell!!! I applied yesterday- when I pressed submit and it came up with "API SERVER" so I pressed submit again and I received 2 emails with 2 different access codes. I phoned my hotel day 1 and day 5 - they have also received 2 thailand passes to approve. Is this normal? They approved on their side ...
i applied last week for my pass am not flying until March 16th , my hotel been approved already so patience is the name of the game , good info Teya as thai people say jai yen yen

What she advice is all true. Cos I just got my application rejected becos my hotel side have some problem and I need to book the the hotel again and reapply today. So please allow time for this kind of incidents.
I will travel to Cambodia soon and from there I will travel to Thailand if these strict measures change
I read an article that if you test positive and your insurance doesnt match with the sha+ hotel contract with their private hospital, public hospital, or "hospitel" that you are not covered even if thai pass approved your insurance.
How could that be, you don't need to be that specific when applying for insurance? For instance my insurance only asked if it's an International destination.
I just got my pass. It took exactly 4 days. I got my approval Saturday noon, Thailand time. So the approvals appear to be and to come in the weekend. I found the process very smooth

I registered at about 10:00 am and I have not heard back. I did check with hotel and they did their part. My flight is on the 9th. That is 9 days out. Would have been nice to know that maybe should have moved everything to 14th. Now I have wait and see what happens and hope it is in time. Thanks for information.
21st of December ( last day !! )I applied and 27th I got Thai pass for 23rd of January. Now I am here, I can go everywhere till 15th of February. Ηowever, all this process is stressful. The process should be much simpler and easier

How on earth it is possible that some people who applied 3 or 4 days after me get approved just after half an hour or 5 hours, while others who applied before, are still waiting? This is such an unfair system, i cant believe.

I have done it myself once already but I had to rebook twice the first time was in Thailand for 60 days came back to USA now I’m trying to get back into Thailand and I’ve had to rebook my flight three times and once was due to Covid though not Thai embassy

Quick question. Since I tested positive and I have records of having Covid and going through Covid now that I am have super immunities do I still have to quarantine for 10 days because I’m not vaccinated even though I’ve already gone through Covid right now?
Are the weekends considered days for the pass to become approved like on a Saturday or Sunday or is it only weekdays Monday through Friday that count for waiting
I applied at 9.30 am and was approved by 4.00pm the same day. Now all I have to do is make up my mind if I'm actually going to go.

Yeah, My friend and her husband in Sweden would like to travel back to Thailand but when she register for Thai Pass she just find out that more than 7 days in reality. She told me that she even call Thai embassy in Sweden . But they told her just wait and be patient.
It's NOT Thai embassy's job. She called to the wrong place.

I may be one of the first to enter Thailand on this new more complicated pass. I applied on the 2nd, got approved on the 5th tested on the 6th and will fly on the 7th. Congrats to the hotel for prompt response to me and the bureaucrats. Lots of seemingly absurd rules and hoops to jump, like the photo of the passport cannot show two pages , only the ID page. So I cropped my photo to comply rather than get rejected. And all this so a person can go to Thailand , mix with the locals after the first test, and then have to test again even though the Thais who mix with Falangs do not have to take a test, which is expensive.. Go figure.
So just to confirm we can apply for the Thailand pass 60 days before we fly thank you very informative darling

My file disappeared from their systems. I had to reapply in emergency. The Support line does not answer. I will fly on Thursday and I just cross fingers the Thai Pass will have been processed by then. In short nothing works. Payments...coordination with hotels... every step is an issue to be solved and it takes 78h to 72h to solve because of the time zones. It's a nightmare.
Got my Thailand pass this morning,10am Thailand time.I applied for it on 1st february at 08.55 Thai time.flight is on 13th february

the approval the next day. If all documents are correct there are no problems

Hii Teya just clarify that the local Thai Insurance Tune ipass Lite plan advised by ur office for International travelers..if incase smone get positive is it covers all expenses if admitted to any private/public hospitals n hospitel for full covid treatment??

The First attempt (05-Feb) It took 5 days to get refused. The second attempt (10-Feb) was a winner....8 hours for approval. The process is getting better.

It took 7 days to receive the T Pass for the Phuket Sandbox from application, last week. That was after several phone calls. They said will only process within a few days before flight arrives at Phuket irrespective of when you apply. Wife says staff are too busy playing on social media or chatting with friend, doing make up etc etc

They've all got their mobiles, so just depends who you get thro to. I'd recommend you hang up if you get thro to a guy - useless couldn't care, but the ladies are helpful.

In the press conference of ddc they say different! First it was 7 days, then 7 working days. And now 10 days? Why so complicated, I’m afraid a lot of toerist will get their holiday ruined by the bad and unreliable communication of the Thai authorities. This is so bad

hi Theya i have emirates insurance and it is up to the value of £340,000 (alot more than 50,000 USD) MY thai pass was denied due the the insurance not being 50,000 USD. does the proof of insurance document have to be written in dollars????
