I also have to mention that I really appreciate how you were very careful and respectful with the contents of the property. Hardly handled much and put it back in its place when you did touch something to show your audience. I’m a fan. Nice job.

I live out in the country as well--in Texas (USA). However, when I'm out walking in nature--I feel at peace, and enjoy the beauty and bird song. How awful to have horror movies flash through your mind :( I quit watching those types of movies--I find them too disturbing.

I'm sure the woman died of a broken heart, that's why she was curled up with her husbands photo. How sad her last night must have been for her but how beautiful it must've been to see her reunited with her love once again!
My husband Davey was a session musician and part-time circus acrobat, until an obscenity termed multiple sclerosis terminated his life at 32yrs young! We were inseparable for 17yrs:We tracked into each other at a pop festival in England, my journey from Venice were my grandmother's residence was resulted in a rapturous romance, After Daveys:demise upon returning home to our flat in Paris from my profession as a Lepidopterist I would initiate conversations with him as if his he was physically present:this behaviour was my method of adapting, accepting and adjusting to his absence, now my/our 'conversations' are through silent thought!! I never re married!! Loss of a truly loved spouse/partner has physical repercussions, Broken Hearts are Real!! it is damage!
Oh wow, you can just feel how loved that place was. You can just imagine them all having a blast, big family and friends gathered in the living room, Saturday night telly on, maybe some people playing a game, drinks flowing and lots laughter. It’s so sad that that house will never see those happy times again.

I was wow by the house. Lots of money in the place. Looks like a holiday home. Curious the bedrooms was in out and not in house. Sad such places are left to rot away. 💋💋💜💜stay safe and huge hugs my dear friends
Amazing to see how they just left everything like time just stopped. You guys did a fantastic tour through this home and I'm looking forward to seeing more just like this.
Another great find havent found a place like this in new zealand yet. Its a gold mine of memories. So glad its only the natural decay ruining it and not low life vandals.
Such a beautiful perfect gem. It's such ashame that it is falling apart and no one to take care of it. Surely there must be some family descendents somewhere.
House was NOT a family home imo, it was a getaway/holiday house/party house for swingers, hence all the alcohol, drink ware, VCR to record "activities", bedrooms outside to avoid others inside main house hearing, as well as large stereo's for music sound cover. The outside room where you had to look through the windows was no doubt the location of the last female occupant slept and died in situ hence the bed looking like it did and the accompanying "bad smell". #Peace from AU!
And large stereo? Seriously? Are you really that stupid? We had a stereo just like that, actually ours was better, and we bought it in 1983, it's still in storage, but if I still have it, and it still works after 38 years, well, that's when they made things that actually worked.
My husband and I were married for 48 years he died last Nov my heart is broken and I feel I will never get over his death. I can actually feel my heart breaking every day I grow weaker

That is true. Also I wonder about the house plants... Are they artificial?? Have to be..so green after almost 80 yrs.. Also ...is this property safe from vandalism after this detailed video. So much wicked and evil people out there...
At first I thought it could be a family get-away, but there are too many strange things or red flags. If I were to guess, I would say it was originally for a couples swinging club. It is set way back in the woods. The main house is more of a main gathering place than a family home. Even the heartiest drinkers do not have that much alcohol sitting out in a family room. And the bedrooms are all secluded and not in the main house. Definitely not a family home!! Adults only!!
Looks.like we hit the 5k mark... a creepy night explore of this place that's gonna be scary hopefully still the same and can access ok. If we hit 10k likes we're sleeping here all night
You didn't show bedrooms in the main house, where there bedrooms there? This place is very cool. It's like soneone is going to pull up & proceed life as usual The furniture, 2 silver flatwear services.... Really amazing. And yeah all the clocks stopped at 3, weird. Hi Dave. My husband died before one year. February 2020. I wished I had returned the time back to see him again. He was too young to die. Wonderful video. So sad story.!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍👍💎💎💎
This looks like a late 70's to 80's party compound, the pool, the buildings around where you could slip away for a little "private time" lots of liquor, the picture of the lady and all her clothes, the decor, reminds me a lot of a couple that my parents hung out with back in the day.

Wow, can't figure out the layout at all, so strange the bedrooms not attached to the main house. It looks as though it was well loved and I bet it was lovely there in it's day, so sad.

Awww all those memorable things left behind. They had some valuable and beautiful things. Very strange set out though, can't think why the bedrooms were separate. Nice to see you travelling those country roads again. I hope it doesn't get trashed. Thank you xxx
Such sad and tragic circumstances led to this home being left abandoned. It is really sad that nobody was around to inherit all this.I sincerely hope that this property doesn’t get trashed by people with no respect.RIP the people who once lived there.
Sometimes I think videos like this are damaging to a property because it does not take much to really locate a property even tho they hide names and addresses and personal stuff
I would really like to see this house especially, renovated, to its original state! I think the couple would love for someone to write their story and for another loving couple to move in and start a new beginning to a second chapter!!
Yes, me too...The house is still in fairly good condition on the inside. They definitely had money & liked to Party.. All that stuff left behind , where did everyone go ??🤔🤔
It's a real life nightmare from a kid of a black cat, it had been snowing over night, a cat had jumped through the front iron scroll gate and must have slipped in the snow and fell down and as the scroll of the gate got tight the cat could get out. I'm 52, that was when I was 5. I've never forgotten that cat. I know it wasn't trapped inside but it was trapped and had frozen to death. I can't help but think of that crying out and no one went to it's rescue and were just yards away from the poor cat.😭
Aww so lovely seeing you two handsome boys out again.I really enjoyed seeing this place,I bet it was beautiful back in the day.Strange how the bedrooms we’re outside the main house,I would not want to leave the main house late at night to go to bed scary lol.The front room was quite big, loved the wooden cabinets, and piano. They must of been quite rich to have a holiday home like this, the dining room was lovely also. The table and chairs and the cabinet looked expensive, shame it is all just sitting there to rot away.Shame it all can’t be saved,it could be sold and do someone a good turn. Stay safe you two lovely boys.xxx

When they first walk up to the house you can just imagine it back in the day, the grounds kept and people around the pool laughing and smiling. Must have been very nice 💕
My British brothers, I love how you are so respectful and careful of others property! You guys make me very proud! This is how it should be done! We get to join you on you're adventures and enjoy the ride! I look forward to future adventures with you two!! Your Brother from Arkansas!!
What a lovely home it was
But in the end it doesn't matter, it's the people who lived there that made it. When the woman lost her husband nothing else mattered.

Anyone else think its amazing how this home been abandoned for so long and Nature hasn't reclaimed the yard yet that's in the middle of a Forrest???
That’s a good point 🤔 hmmmmm
@Don Juan 6 years is along time in the middle of no where . No dust?
I bet one of the neighbors looks in on the property and keeps the riff raff out pretty much. I know I would keep an eye on it.
When my wife died after 41 years of marriage I had a broken heart and almost died...I had a heart attack!!
Bless you Bob stay strong ❤️
Oh my sorry to hear😢she is still with you
You a very strong man
Ive been there only waant 41 years, bless your heart bob, stay strong
After our father died our mom had three heart attacks. We are too lucky to still have her now at 82 yrs old.
You did a great job with this exploration. I stumbled across this looking at abandoned amusement parks but what you toured us through here truly gives chills. I also have to mention that I really appreciate how you were very careful and respectful with the contents of the property. Hardly handled much and put it back in its place when you did touch something to show your audience. I’m a fan. Nice job.
Lovely family holiday hideaway! You can just feel all the memories of good times! Good job reporting and recording the past guys!
Wow 😳, that garden is so big and so beautiful. I’d love to sit on the bench and just watch the nature, and listen to the birds. They must have had been people with wealth. Please don’t tell anyone else the location of this property, as soon it will get round and it will be trashed. How wonderful to buy this and renovate it, and re-do the pool, etc !! Stunning, amazing , wonderful, fantastic, brilliant, etc. Thank you guys, you’re the best 💓😊💓
How sweet she died holding his picture almost like she knew she’d be joining him, I firmly believe we do all meet up again a strong love can’t be broken by death, it was such a beautiful house and garden. I live in the country and sometimes when I’m out walking down the lanes or over fields by myself literally every horror film I’ve ever seen goes through my head 😂
I live out in the country as well--in Texas (USA). However, when I'm out walking in nature--I feel at peace, and enjoy the beauty and bird song. How awful to have horror movies flash through your mind :( I quit watching those types of movies--I find them too disturbing.
@@margietucker1719 it doesn’t really scare me I live in a lovely peaceful area so I know I’m completely safe but certain scenes pop into my head that’s all, the country is the perfect place to switch off and enjoy what’s around you isn’t it

Hi Dave & Mark. I met a woman from South Sussex, England at the grocery store today. I told her about your channel & all the abandoned homes & farmhouses there, & asked her about the amount of abandoned properties there. She told me there are just so many abandoned properties there it's mindblowing. At 28:27, I had a parasol just like that. This was so, so cool.
Heartbreak is real. Did anyone notice at 57 seconds in the show the overhead shot of two trees that made the shape of a heart. Their love seems to be still there.
Yes
I went back and I saw it.
I saw that, and thought there is still love at this place.
Not until you mentioned it and I rewind the video

birds singing in such quiet environment but because of house abandonment, this place feels spooky and so lonely.
Just goes to show you that once no one lives in a house it dies. The occupants keep it alive. Nice lounge room though.

I always find it heartbreaking that such wonderful stuff is left to decay pointlessly. I hope someone does something with this place while there's still something left to save.
Yes so true
This is one of my favorites because no one came in and destroyed it. Everything untouched, even the remotes on the coffee table, exactly where they should be.
It looks So Well Preserved Because its Not in the United States. Over Here, Most of the Late Owners Items Would Be Stolen, The House would be Trashed, the Chandler would be ripped off the ceiling, there would be Graffiti sprayed all over the Place. Love that you show these Places Preserved, unlike here in the USA!!
True Shar bear. People are real assholes.in the u.s. there's so many abandoned boarded up houses...just in my old neighborhood
Just to let y'all know we are not all assholes in the US I live here and I try to be a very well rounded person I know sometimes I may not be but I try to stay that way so that way people can't call me and put me in the minority

I haven't even really started to get into the video but I just wanted to say how beautiful your words are Dave. It's like you know the exact right thing to say about each and every explore. Those stereos and 8 track were very popular in the 70's. A collector would LOVE them
Such a beautiful perfect gem. It's such ashame that it is falling apart and no one to take care of it.
Surely there must be some family descendents somewhere.
Great hoodie in ya pic x

House was NOT a family home imo, it was a getaway/holiday house/party house for swingers, hence all the alcohol, drink ware, VCR to record "activities", bedrooms outside to avoid others inside main house hearing, as well as large stereo's for music sound cover. The outside room where you had to look through the windows was no doubt the location of the last female occupant slept and died in situ hence the bed looking like it did and the accompanying "bad smell". #Peace from AU!
You don't use a VCR to record "activities" DF, you use a camera,
It's OK, not everybody is educated.
And large stereo? Seriously? Are you really that stupid? We had a stereo just like that, actually ours was better, and we bought it in 1983, it's still in storage, but if I still have it, and it still works after 38 years, well, that's when they made things that actually worked.
I know this video is two years old but what a beautiful place, feels very welcoming!
So great to see this is so well preserved, its like their love for eachother is looking after it!
My husband and I were married for 48 years he died last Nov my heart is broken and I feel I will never get over his death. I can actually feel my heart breaking every day I grow weaker

great video to watch thank you🗝🔑🔒
At first I thought it could be a family get-away, but there are too many strange things or red flags.

Good tour, and yes I like that you show us around, touching some objects for our view, showing pictures, that was nice.
This looks like a late 70's to 80's party compound, the pool, the buildings around where you could slip away for a little "private time" lots of liquor, the picture of the lady and all her clothes, the decor, reminds me a lot of a couple that my parents hung out with back in the day.

Such sad and tragic circumstances led to this home being left abandoned. It is really sad that nobody was around to inherit all this.I sincerely hope that this property doesn’t get trashed by people with no respect.RIP the people who once lived there.
