It's a good thing I don't go into these kinds of places . . . my fingers were just itching to grab some of those. boxes and start packing up things and make it nice and tidy like it probably once was. Lots of things about this home looked inviting. Some nice furniture. Interesting explore.

I love those curved doors near the end, I've never seen doors like that. I also can't believe it's been abandoned for 20 years with windows open and it's not completely decayed throughout. That attic looks like it had some stories to tell.

Seen this house a few times and things have been moved or are gone since last seeing it. So I get why someone would keep an eye on it. It's in my country this place. I noticed that when you were at the grill (gate inside) the door that was locked was now open and the glass was smashed. It wasn't like that in the previous video I saw. They are just thieves that ransack, they are no explorers.I hope he wasn't too tough on you. Belgians can exaggerate. It was nice to see the place again. Thanks for taking me there, Dave. I don't like going to the dentist either. That place is beautiful and that table with the lion heads on the corners, love it. I agree with you I don't like attics and basements they are creepy places in a house and that attic is huge. My son would love all those VHS tapes and the vandalism isn't your fault, oh and I love the Mickey Mouse clock. That gate in the up stairs was weird too. Thank you for showing us this place and that nice that someone is looking out for this mansion. Take care.
Thank god for the NHS and science that dentistry is so much better. I remember the black mask as a kid that knocked you out when you got a tooth out. That smell haunts me to this day and a few years ago going into surgery the anesthetist said put this mask on for oxygen...it wasn't oxygen it was the same smell as the black mask ! 💀 looks like other explorers have had a seance with all the candles on the table. It's got some beautiful furniture and features...you don't get the craftsmanship these days. Fab video Dave 👌🏻

Hello Dave, this was such a beautiful mansion the dentists room was very interesting just to see all the old equipment they used back then. How many children did the couple have? It's so sad to see all the old photos left in a box to rot away you'd think people want to know their ancestors I know I do. I'm glad the village people are keeping an eye on that beautiful place. It's just a shame that they didn't catch the low lives who trashed the place.
For me personally if my place was left with beautiful things inside I would rather have people take things and know they went to a good place. I think it's a shame to let those things rot.

This was an excellent find ,had vintage toys ,it is a shame furniture and everything just left ,not even try an auction or yard sale you have done a good job as usual I will be finishing video if I see something else I'll edit,places are like time capsules,I often think of the one we made as class in 6th grade ,did they open,what exactly did I leave in there,wow is right there is so much neat stuff in attic, shame it's going to go to waste,unless someone steps in ,great house ,kept giving as you say,I'll be waiting to see what you find out about the place

1993 is 29 years ago not 19 years like you said . Also I worked in dentistry for years and theres nothing to be afraid of the better you care for your teeth the longer they last so see your dentist every 6 months!

I would love to go through the old place. I love to look at things from people's past. I've always told my family if they ever explore abandoned places, not to be tempted to take something. I believes in spirits attaching themselves to objects. We have had homes that were actually haunted. One house, we didn't live in but a few months. It seemed to have an evil spirit in it. An old lady got murdered there. We couldn't get the blood spot out of the floor where she was killed. We were renting the house when we were first married. That has been fifty years ago.
These properties were owned , not rented or council, so when the owner dies there might not have children/grandchildren or anyone else yo pas the property onto so unless they specifically state in a will or somethin they'd like the council etc to take possession off the property to do whatever they want with it, without and descended to take it on it just gets left. Same as with owned properties nowadays. My ex foster mum ownes er house and said she's leaving it in her will to the council as she's anasty uncaring b**** who doesn't want to think about leaving it o me knowing darn well I'm in need and will use it well and never had kids off her own, good she shouldn't have been allowed to even foster tbh. Not even her who bought it it was her deceased husband but she's just a gold digger and claims his pension and somehow had the house put to her name after he died.
I believe if no Will is left and no family members found it is then made property of the crown after that I assume it’s sold and money goes into public funds. In Scotland you see lots of beautiful little cottage rotting if no one was left to inherit I believe it had to be left to crumble back to the earth so maybe there are similar laws in European countries.
I don't think he murdered anyone. Gossip can destroy someone's life.
Just stories to keep people away you know how things start oh and more rooting around what a nice house and so secluded its awsume 😊

A baseball bat also good for putting people to sleep but harder to conceal than a hammer 😂

The blue and yellow boxes was Sunlight soap. It's an old brand and can still be purchased. They made blocks of laundry soap also. .

I would love to go through the old place. I love to look at things from people's past. I've always told my family if they ever explore abandoned places, not to be tempted to take something. I believes in spirits attaching themselves to objects. We have had homes that were actually haunted. One house, we didn't live in but a few months. It seemed to have an evil spirit in it. An old lady got murdered there. We couldn't get the blood spot out of the floor where she was killed. We were renting the house when we were first married. That has been fifty years ago.

Why are these places left from an enormous amount of time that's passed. And everything is left the same way.
These properties were owned , not rented or council, so when the owner dies there might not have children/grandchildren or anyone else yo pas the property onto so unless they specifically state in a will or somethin they'd like the council etc to take possession off the property to do whatever they want with it, without and descended to take it on it just gets left. Same as with owned properties nowadays. My ex foster mum ownes er house and said she's leaving it in her will to the council as she's anasty uncaring b**** who doesn't want to think about leaving it o me knowing darn well I'm in need and will use it well and never had kids off her own, good she shouldn't have been allowed to even foster tbh. Not even her who bought it it was her deceased husband but she's just a gold digger and claims his pension and somehow had the house put to her name after he died.
I believe if no Will is left and no family members found it is then made property of the crown after that I assume it’s sold and money goes into public funds. In Scotland you see lots of beautiful little cottage rotting if no one was left to inherit I believe it had to be left to crumble back to the earth so maybe there are similar laws in European countries.
It is something to look into someones personal life. Grateful n to learn about there lives. It's a good feeling that these enjoyed there lives.
I thought that picture looked like David Suchet when he played Poirot. It's even in Belgium.
