This is how a paranormal investigation should be done.- leaving cameras ( and voice recorders) in an empty house. It cuts down on the possibility of human made sounds or actions 👍

Y'all are so stupid, they house is regularly investigated, they said the books and stuff on the bed were set up for investigators and the Polaroid and pictures. A squater might be living there the tea and clothes in the dryer were freaky. The picture of the man in front of the door was creepy the way he was standing and how he heard noises right before that from that area. I agree that leaving a camera and device alone in a house is the best way to catch evidence.

This episode hit a chord with me. I lost both parents within 5 months of each other. I was visiting mom in the hospital, dad at a nursing home and taking care of their home and an elderly uncle. Every time I went to their house it broke me. My mom had been folding clothes when she ended up being taken by ambulance, never to return. There were clothes still hanging over the dining room chair. I have one brother who lives states away, so I was dealing with all this on my own and still working full time myself. When they passed I sold the house “as is” because I couldn’t bring myself to get rid of all their possessions. I live in a small condo so I had no room for any furniture, etc. Now I did not leave dishes out, etc but other than that it very much looked like the last day my mom was there.

I jumped so fast outa bed, drove without any gas in my car, so fast that if a cop was going to stop me he'd have to earn that ticket because I wasn't going to stop till I got to the hospital. They said I had to wear a mask, apron to see my mom. I ripped the damn thing off me with the mask, talked to my mom. I’m just 4 minutes in and this is so incredibly sad to me. All this man’s possessions still there. Did he not have any family? Wouldn’t you think a family member would want at least those old pictures? I know I would. So many things in there that should be heirlooms. It’s like this man was alone for a long time and no one cared. That extreme kind of sadness is a negative feeling and could manifest even more paranormal activity. Just so sad. I should also say I’m a former nurse, I worked in a nursing home for years, and I became very empathetic, so just watching this made my heart ache.

You cannot be disappointed or sad if you had spent your whole life living in struggle and hardship, you get used to suffering and accept it as routine. I agree with all the other comments about the sadness of how a person’s final days were lived, the place uncared for, even washing in the machine still. But the essences of those people remain, and if THEY are willing, they can still communicate. I didn’t notice you introducing yourselves as you usually do, makes you more friendly , but perhaps you did that when you arrived. Showed me how near the end of the mortal coil I’m shuffling along to having been married over 50yrs, and then those treasures tipped on the bed made me relive my childhood! Havnt seen a Toby Twirl annual for over 70yrs, so that took me back, as did the tank with remote control! I had one exactly the same! All remotes seemed to be metal back then. You said it had been a farm someone and sons..so there MUST have been family around somewhere! And who is paying the council tax, elect, etc etc..the funeral even? This always puzzles me. Joe always seems to blame rats for a lot of noises, but with sugar etc lying open in the kitchen I’m sure mice AND rats would have found and made a good mess there. Lots of little noises, a couple of crashes, which I think were meant to scare you off. Don’t think the old boy liked his home invaded. Just LOVED the picture of you two when younger starting to do investigations….WOW! You have been good friends to stick together so long. Kudos to you both.
Think as Joe said it would have been better to have put that charger on for an hour a while before you left, as it seemed quite noisy to me, made it harder to distinguish other sounds. But another great investigation guys. Hope Ron and his wife are happily reunited now. Take care and stay safe! Love and light! 👩‍🦳🫶👍👏👏👏

I think my wish is to see them preserved but revitalized. 'As they were in their heyday'...I really hate it when people take over historic homes and renovate them from top to bottom, without regard for any of the original features, because they want a 'modernized' version of the address. It makes them more livable, sure, but any character that home had might as well have been demolished. On the other hand, I know these ol' girls can't just be left alone or else they will wind up completely uninhabitable and infested eventually. There were several such small houses or churches on the road where I grew up; the kudzu overtook them and now all that's left are their chimneys.

But then when you do return and hear and see things, you don't immediately jump to the phenomena as being paranormal. You try to debunk it or explain it as natural phenomena but the rest is left to the viewer to decide for the themselves. This is actually similar to an American show called Ghost hunters. That is not to be with the ridiculous show called Ghost Adventures where everything is the result of the host of the show being possessed by the devil himself! I loved this video and I will definitely be subscribing! Thank you gentlemen!

If you're watching on a phone then zoom way in on it and you'll find that it only moves with the camera, and not against it at any point. If it did move on it's own, the ghost doing it would have had to had to moved it extremely precisely, which I do not think it's capable of. Knew of a lady. Didn't know her personally, but my gf had a work party at her boss's large house. In the back house (no bedrooms, just one large single room with a restroom) fully furnished with a bed tv night stand ect. An older gentleman lived there for many years and they found him dead in his bed and called the authorities to come get him. The next night, this particular lady changed the sheets and moved right in. Slept on the same bed. We were baffled.

Tbh I think it depends on certain things… I know I wouldn’t sleep in the bed of a dead stranger but I know when I was 11, my next door neighbor had passed away (she died in the hospital) I had received some of her furniture like her bed, bed frame, and dresser from her daughters. I was really close to her my whole life and honestly having something like that which she had used regularly helped me a bit with coping because I’d remember the happier aspects like how I used to comb and do her hair while sitting on her bed and how the dresser held her box for hair trinkets and the top shelf of the vanity had two wigs (that she never wore). Being able to sleep in her bed and look at the mirror in the dresser that I used to look through when she was still alive helped me to feel more at peace with her death because it felt like she was still there in some aspects of my life- and she was more like a grandma and friend to me than just a neighbor, I spent more time with her than my own grandmas and she was always fun to talk with so it was truly meaningful to me (I still use the dresser but the bed frame for the bed didn’t work so we eventually got me a different bed)

@whitemamba0089 that is so true. Sadly, my dad and I experienced this first hand for an old man who was given money by his son. We were the last people he saw before he passed in that room. For context, my dad was the maintenance manager for 2 separate properties in California. As my dad was walking thru the hall, he heard someone groaning in distress. He asked the manager about who was in there, and they went to go check. Now, when I saw my dad and the manager walking with the master keys together, i knew something was up. So I joined them to go see what was going on. They knocked and heard the man faintly yalling for help, so we opened the door. The poor guy was on the floor. He had been there for 2 days, he said. Me and my pa helped him onto the bed cuz he was so weak. We gave him water and asked him if he needed us to call 9-11 or his family, but he said he'll be fine to leave the TV on and turn the air on for him. Ambulance was called the next morning cuz when the manager checked on him, he was passed.

When you ask a question, be still & don’t talk as those sounds are picked up. Listen quietly for a minute or so to give time for a possible reply. Should you cough or sneeze or make some type of noise while recording. Verbally say out loud, I coughed or sneezed or I bumped the table. It's shocking and sad that there are numerous abandoned places like this home all over the world. Seeing how everything was left as if in the middle of routine activities like making tea, when catastrophe suddenly strikes is quite sad. It's a reminder of how incredibly brief and fragile life is. I agree. When my cousin died, that was one of the most painful ideas I had to deal with. Coming from a family that's not so well off, we had to save up for everything we want, cameras, computer tables (we can't even afford a laptop so desktop PCs were all we had), bed mattresses, etc. Everything feels like a major purchase so yes, we deeply cared about our belongings bec we had to earn them. And when he died, all his stuff was just in his room, left rotting away. It bugged me bec I know he loved every little thing especially his camera and sound system (speakers and stuff). Was all that saving up for nothing? :( All that building your life to succumb to nothingness. It is sad. But it made me care less about my possessions and more about being here and the people who care about me (Sorry for talking too much)

My dad passed suddenly in his apartment, and I had to do a wellness check via police since I lived so far from him. When I finally got to his apartment to clean it out it was absolutely surreal how his life was stood still in there. There was a fresh pot of coffee that had gone moldy, his breakfast half eaten on his coffee table. Seeing how quickly his life ended and then how quickly I could erase him from that apartment was humbling and devastating. I appreciate so much the respect you bring to a similar situation in this house.

I had a friend who had an old abandoned farmhouse on her property. She said it was really creepy inside and so decided to leave a tape recorder running inside. She climbed the stairs and placed the tape recorder underneath some floor boards so it wouldn't be as exposed to the elements. A week later she came back and played it and it was definitely weird! She said she heard this weird gasping/breathing sound. There was some odd creaks and other noises she chocked up to being an old house. And then the weird gasping sound was heard again, it got closer and closer to the recorder and then the recorder suddenly stopped, like someone turned it off. There was still plenty of tape left but someone or something just stopped it.
That story gave me the chills when I heard it. Was someone in that house and they somehow knew there was a tape recorder but they didn't take it after stopping it? So weird. I don't know what to think and my friend didn't either..she was pretty freaked out to think there was possibly a stranger on her property. 😱 nope.

Greetings from the central Sierra Nevada mountain range of California guys!
I just discovered your channel a little earlier this evening, and I really enjoyed what I saw. You're both quite respectful towards the unseen occupant (or occupants), of the home. Especially trying to get a feel for the home, it's story, and the memories laid out in the numerous photographs spread out throughout the rooms.
Yours is a really refreshing take on paranormal investigations you know? Just leave the static cameras to record what they will, without the overacting, wide-eyed looks, the constant pushiness of other so-called "investigators", who get to the point of almost demanding those who may still call the place home to 'make a noise', 'say something', or the oldest demand of all 'give us a sign'. It's been my experience that those who have passed over, but yet still remain can be a fairly shy lot, and depending on the span of time since they transitioned to a non-corporeal state, still may be confused & possibly a bit frightened. So I think you both did admirably in backing off and allowing those in the home to respond in their own way.
I'll definitely be checking out your other videos, you've gained another subscriber this evening. Keep up the excellent work!

I always read the description! As a creator myself, i think it's important to read descriptions because we often make comments in retrospect. How did you get permission to go inside? Someone owns it if they're still paying a utility bill. Very cool video, thank you!

The camera falling is annoying to me. I mean, how many times have you seen a camera fall by apparently paranormal forces? And YET, nobody has thought to have cameras on each other, so that if one falls, the other will record it. DECADES have passed since the first time I saw a camera being messed with by something that's allegedly paranormal.... I'm pretty sure that there's a perfectly rational explanation for this: Ghost "investigators" are apparently, and very probably, completely filled to the rim with waste product. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

There's a video if urbex hill (channel name) where he was in a church/temple something or other, and he's been ko'd the f off while the other camera was filming and all been captured and it happened twice, and you can see the ''apparition'' it's something nuts i don't believe one can haunt a place but that video made me think abt it for a bit, only i believe in demons haunting places cause they're the who got bad intentions 🤷‍♂️ that's my belief at least but anyhow you can check that video to get a bit of a relief from the annoyance you've seen

Lovely exploration, I like the way you guys try to debunk what any noise or bang could be and try to give an explanation to it. Also, I love how you told the story of the abandoned house and who lived there. It's fascinating. It makes you think how temporary everything is. How everything can just stop all of a sudden and that is as true as it gets. Life is temporary. We all are temporary. Things we leave behind lasts longer, at least those things can tell our own story. It's also beautiful how noticeable is your sensitivity towards the feeling of the whole house. I could tell straight away as well that the house has a weird, negative, cold aura. Thank you for being brave for us. Keep up with the good work

The cane by the hospital bed appears to have been moved between 7:26 and 16:31. Unless one of you moved it before leaving the room, this could explain the metallic noise that was heard

Excellent catch. I don’t see it anywhere by the bed at all. Could’ve fallen down, definitely, though I use one on the regular and I don’t think that’s what happened. It looked pretty stable between the bed and the tray. Very unlikely it would randomly fall like that.

@amybarrett7300 the first time shows it hanging on the bed "arm" (I don't know how else to describe it) then later its propped against the "arm", depending on the light at the time once it looks white & then black.

Well take a closer look between those two times. The bags on the floor have disappeared, the remote has also disappeared, and a white bag shows up on the bed? If the guys are moving stuff, they shouldn’t be. By the chair with the wheels, it appears that there is a camera stand in the second time but not in the first.

That was good! Yes, the bangs could be fridge. I recall ours doing the same when condenser kicked in and off. The camera shook a bit before dropping. I thought, 'if on a table, perhaps a rodent?' But seeing it was on the handle, im not sure it would shake before dropping. Thinking it would have been more of a slide motion than a side to side one. You may have gotten something! It almost looks like the gentleman who lived there has just popped to the shops, so sad that two years after his death no one has managed to clear the house especially when there's such personal stuff around.

  • @annettehellingrath8288
    @annettehellingrath8288 11 місяців тому +7

My employer of more than 15 years used to call me 'the witch' because of some of the things I foretold. For example I told him on a Friday that my cat, who had been living with my parents since I moved out, had died. Nobody had called me, I just knew. We had been very close for about 14 years. I found out for sure two days later when I visited for Mother's Day. I also told my boss that my grandmother had passed away in Germany, again before anyone called me to let me know. I also knew that my Bouvier Elsa would be dead when I came back from work and again I was correct. So it wasn't all that surprising that I would end up with a house that had some sort of presence. I felt it when I viewed the house for the first time. It had been standing empty for two years, mainly due to the realtor being a very unpleasant man. I almost didn't buy the house because of him. I felt the presence the strongest in the basement. I ended up putting mirrors in places where they would allow me to see behind me while walking down the hall, going down the stairs to the basement, while in the bathroom as well as my office. I never turned my back to a doorway, always stood sideways. The three dogs I had over the thirty years I lived there, one at a time, never went into the basement. The first Bouvier Noah cried a the top of the stairs every time I went into the basement. The next dog Elsa never even went down the first or second staircase for the ten and a half years she lived with me. Levi was the same way. I got each dog when they were puppies, after the other one died, so it isn't like they picked up another dog's feelings. I also looked after a friend's Malamute and she never went near my stairs and she practically lived in the basement at her house. That 'being watched' feeling never left me. About a year or so before I moved out, I was painting the back door at the bottom of the fist set of stairs. It was late at night, Levi was asleep somewhere in the house and it was very quiet. I dropped some paint on my shoe and stood up really quickly in time to see a tall, human shape, sort of smoky black, move down the hallway. I almost yelled, "I knew it!" I also had repetitive dreams while living in that house, some of which I had every night for years and then the dream would come true, which really freaked me out. One night I was dreaming that I was outside in the sun playing with puppies when suddenly I was lying in bed at my house. I woke up to find a man dressed in all black with his face covered standing by my bed. He was holding a huge knife. I woke up to find a man dressed in black his face covered standing beside my bed holding a large knife. He came towards me and I tried to reach for the knife I had tacked to my mattress but I was unable to move, I was frozen in place. I then woke up for real, still unable to move. That dream scared me so bad that I was scared to go to sleep for a couple of nights. Nothing about entities, etc. surprises me after the things I went through living in what was essentially a haunted house.
